This video is AMAZING! The Philippines has so many different things to do, and this video probably didn't name off a tenth of what there is to see there. The places that this video did show though are so beautiful. I cannot wait to travel to The Philippines one day!

@@Inday_Yawa I guess I tried mangoes from Pakistan or India ( I think) while I was in Saudi Arabia years ago and was disappointed. The mangoes looked almost overripe, the colour was a deep orange but the taste was so sour. It tasted like the green/raw mangoes we have in the Philippines but the texture was different. We didn't buy mangoes again in Saudi Arabia after that.

Morning from France. Thank you so much as one of those who requested this. 😉👍. If you love big museums then visit the National Museum and Ayala Museum. There you can see the pre colonial arts. These presentation is to show case your priorities. By the way each regions have different culinary specialties and languages. Most of the indigenous are in the South in Mindanao. Remember the Philippines was a melting pot even during pre colonial and adding colonial periods, the diversity of the country and its culinaires.

@The Commodity just get your diving licenses in the Philippines, I did that 22 years ago and it was the best decision I made. Every diver back in the states said it was better to do it over there than here in the US (unless you are near Florida). Anyhow, it is usually less than $300-$500 and can be completed within a week.

The tourism ads focus on each region (consisting of multiple provinces) in the Philippines. It goes from northern regions to southern regions.
CaLaBaRZon, MiMaRoPa, SoCCSKSarGen are actually "acronyms" of the provinces that were shown in order on the video.
For example, Calabarzon = Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon

If I may add start from Cebu City which is in Central Visayas since it's in the center of the Philippines which means you can navigate better either going north or south. It's also the birth place of Christianity here so you will know the countries history as well. It's also next to the island of Bohol were the "Chocolate Hills" that you mention are found. From north to south, it offers different kind of adventures that only proves why the Philippines is the Pearl of the Orient. From sunrise to sundown, from dusk til' dawn, it's wonders never ceases. From one island to another, it welcomes everyone with warm smiles and kindness. How the people's tenacity stood the test of time just like it's mountains.

I am a filipino but lives all my life here in US. But to answer your question if filipinod consider a small piece of land an island? And the answer is YES! Remember an island is a piece of land surrounded by an water regardless the size. Some of these island isn't inhabited yet...and the count of the island depends if its high tide or low tide. You gottah visit the country its beautiful and just a tip, do research first and make a plan on which place in your list you want to visit. Remember, there 3 major island Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. Pick a couple location which you want to explore more. Because trust me there are so many but most definitely visit Siargao area in Mindanao and Palawan. Also, bring some skin cream cuz its very hot. Most especially if you visit during summer months. During summer season the airfare tends to be expensive. Also, don't carry a large amount of cash because credit card isn't available anywhere. And then don't be a victim of scam while you're there's. Enjoy and be safe.

T o your question? Its not considered an island, its only a 'sandbar'. Incidentally, that particular sandbar is an attraction that can be seen, and reached in the island of Camuigin, where there are 7 active volcanoes, and 5 towns. It is located technically in the Visayas, but much closer to the big island of Mindanao as well.

Some "Names" of the places you read there are actually the names of the provinces featured in Region 4-A. CALABARZON is comprised of CAvite, LAguna, BAtangas, Rizal, QueZON. Region 4-B, MIMAROPA is MIndoro, MArinduque, ROmblon, PAlawan. :)

Seafood in the Philippines (preferrably in provinces situated by the Ocean) is a must! Delicious, cheap, fresh, and just simply the best. Seafood buffet is everywhere (expensive in Manila though).

The answer to your question if its an island even if its 90% submerge was its mostly submerge because of the hightide and in lowtides it will not be submerge by 50%.....we have more island on lowtides and less island on hightides....tnx.....
