Compared to the production behind the two recent videos you did , I’m embarrassed! But hopefully some useful intel in there. Once time permits I’ll try and add a bit more dynamism on the presentation!
@@IlluminatingWatches You have a different edge my friend, and you are much like my good friend at Watch Crazy.... time will grow with your production, it's something that just keeps improving... not sure what is happing with RUclips, but I'm not getting as many views and subscribers... the views have gone down by at least 60% which is shocking???? but I enjoy making the content, and loyal subscribers is more valuable than bought ones LML :-P
Nice into video. A few corrections are needed thou, LIP's 1952 prototype wasn't the R27, it was a different grade. Elgin's 1952 prototype was also a different grade. The 1952 is side set, the grade 722 was backset and appears 1953. It nearly made it to market in 1955 and several models were produced but then the release was delayed. LIP also produced a sold state (as in circuit to drive the coils) R27 in 1958, this was displayed publicly, making it one of the first solid state watches around even thou it still had a balance wheel. You should investigate battery tech next.

Very informative. Didn't know the difference between the electric and quartz watches. Surprised that even the Old Dogs jumped on the train of Electric watches. Good job & fun!
Fun right? Even seiko had a horse in the game. Apparently bulovas patent blocked them for so long that they were forced to innovate and Quartz and digital was the result!
I have been to Graceland and also at several auctions and I have seen Elvis Presley's hamilton ventura and I have seen the solid 14karat gold ventura not the cheaper one that you mentioned and as far as I'm aware and is commonsense.. why would a man as rich as Presley have the cheaper hamilton???
