Thank you for an easy and pretty pattern ! Also, that's a great tip about the yarn being curled at the end and to make tassels first. 😎

Thank you very much! It’s good to know there’s an interest in more shawl patterns.
That's beautiful
Thank you! It’s a really simple pattern that I think turns out so beautiful. Thanks for taking the time to comment!
Hi what other weight of yarn can I use besides the 2 fine and what size hook to go with it im still new and that is too lightweight for me thanks
Thanks for your interest in this pattern! This pattern was designed and tested using size 2 yarn and an H hook. You are welcome to try it using a different size yarn and hook, but the overall look, size and amount of yarn required may be different.
I’m guessing as I haven’t made the shawl using size 3 yarn yet but I think using size 3 yarn and a J hook would work. Would love to know how you make out!
How do you keep the tassles from fraying and the strands from separating?
Hello! If your tassels fray, you can tie a knot at the bottom of each strand. I find fraying depends on the yarn. Mine didn't fray with the yarn I used but other yarns can tend to fray. But tying a knot at the bottom should help :)
is there a pattern for a long baby blanket in this stitch
Yes there is! Here’s the pattern: jototheworld.com/classic-baby-blanket-crochet-pattern
