*Story Of The Ghat*
This is a very dangerous ghat road.. Here any truck has a lot of trouble to climb up the ghat and get down from the ghat. It becomes more dangerous due to this rainy season.. because the rain flow from the top of the hills washes away the last edges of those dangerous turns and becomes more dangerous.
*Story Of The Video*
A 16 wheeler Tata lorry with a heavy load came on this ghat road with the dare to turn even if it is raining heavily, but due to the heavy rain, the truck could not turn in that dangerous turn and stopped. At the same time, he tried to go back and forth with the intention of turning, but he could not turn.
Finally with their skills they were able to successfully turn that heavy loaded truck without any Risk in such heavy rain

Because of the bank angle of the road one wheel is losing traction. Due to rear differential that wheel keeps spinning, while the wheel with traction is not receiving any power. The jack lowers the wheel so both the drive wheels have traction . Essentially they are doing what a limited slip differential would have done manually. A limited slip diff would have prevented so much manual effort.
These economical trucks only have power steering as the only assistance. It could have at least one locking differential for this type of maneuver. But they prefer to put ten more axles to carry more weight.

There is diff lock and hillassist brakes in certain Tata models...not sure which model is this
Indian trucks or bus drivers are next level drivers in the world
Because they are extremely trained with the tuff situations and mastered all types of terrrain

Basic design of the rear suspension are wrong. I think it have only one differential, that's the major draw back of this kind of trucks. If they add two differential with differential lock, truck won't stuck these kinds of terrain. Tractor and trailer design is better than long straight truck.
This trucks are not for valley area roads... Multiaxle truck majorly use only on highway roads... Long distance trips
But in reverse, and tough U turns those will take more area to make a turn, so your point is illogical

But an increase in hp and more importantly a larger torque would definitely the vehicle faster as they can climb in smaller gears but the engine will be more expensive and definitely more fuel consuming
