@mishraji, this is certainly not a good job but worst job. The helper is using a rudimentary method of placing big bolders to stop the truck and thereafter leaving those boulders there for accidents waiting to happen. They should be educated to not to do such things that put someone's life in danger including their own. In US, Canda and even in least developed countries like Indonesia, no body uses such method.tgey use choke which is a slanting object on a top placed with a chain to it do that once the lorry starts moving, it will also get along with it and will not remain there forever for an accident waiting to happen. The lorry owner or company shpuld be educated to invest in buying chokes for their vehicles. In advance countries, chokes, danger triangles and jacks, chains are mandatory items to be kept in all vehicles particularly in heavy commercial vehicles.

Also, if the boulder is left by the helper as it is, other vehicle may hit it which can even be worse. There are many such cases of fatal accidents happened due to careless by lorry drivers. For e.g. they drive and ride slow on a rightmost lane as if it is their own road, which causes rear invoming traffic such as cars and travel buses colliding them from rear due to breaking or high speed driving by them (both at fault). Then lorry drivers in india tend to ride on rightmost lane often gets breakdown and remain immobilised at the spot for days due to broken axle or engine burn out or any other problems. there are no recovery vehicles to remove the breakdown lorry or the driver / owner don't want to pay for removal and prefer to loosing delivery fees, rental, and bank installment too. This is a big hazard as light vehicle traffic including travel busses drive on rightmost lane for overtaking abd otherwise, and expressway one can legally allowed to drive at 80 km , it hits the breakdown lorry at speeds causing fatal and serious accidents. Multi axle on this road seems a adventures idea!! Somehow the engine is under powered that's Wht I feel, secondly not changing to special gear, puts brunt on engine, clutch will wear out faster also brake liners, this owner needs to upgrade engine power and also the turn ratio needs to be lesser on such roads, humble request to owner to buy a model with a smaller turning radius and a much more powerful engine else he will spend more on maintains than what he will earn 😂😂😂👍👍 driver and his buddy hats off to you guys great job done but your owner needs to understand to buy a better truck for you guys 👍👍👌👌❤️
The problem with Indian truck owners is that they don't do their home wirk properly. They buy a model that has underpowered engine save cost of diesel. Then on top of it there are multiple axles with one lift axle that remain unutilised. This is all to make it legal from axle load compliance and save troubles from Police / RTO. But they forget that overloading on such underpowered trucks and top of it with single drive axle will cost them a bomb and can lead them. bankrupt. The trucks cannot move effectively on such winding roads with s single drive axle as dead axle takes the maximum weight that leads to spinning of drive wheel leading to worn out of tyres that will cost them close to 1 Lakh for 4 tyres and clutch, bushing and engine, SCR too. The driver and helper though trying hard to recover, but did not change to lower gear before the turning and did not made a longer turn thereby losing the motion, which must be avoided at all the time. It was also safety issue notices as driver abd helpers must carry a Walkie-talkie for communication , thereby putting the life of the helper at greater risk.

You forgot to mention lack of driving experience. In this video it seems the driver is not engaging the crawler/1st gear and is using the traditionally used 2nd gear to start the truck in the incline.
It is a gentle slope and start of the hill, normal hairpin band. I wonder if the truck is struggling so much, who gave them permission to go up , the truck may not be able to pull the load further up the hill on hairpin band coming next one after another. Highly risky, it can either topple itself or will hit some other vehicle.
Martin Ji I agree with you. If the manufacturer puts in a more powerful engine the truck will be overloaded even more it’s a CATCH 22 situation. The only answer is strict vigilance by the transport authorities.

It's nothing to do with power, gearing, skill etc. The problem is cheap single drive four spring rear bogie. If a double drive bogie was used it would be a simple operation.
2nd class driver.....when u stop in the uphill...U never start with the first accelaration...risky when in load...Pump the gas pedal three four times and accelrate..it will atoumatically pick up its speed/strength when u going uphill....
