Hellloooo! My name is Clancy and I'm originally from Long Island, NY, whch is about 40 minutes from NYC. In 2017, I moved to Ohio to become a TV news reporter, but after waking up at 2 a.m. for 5 years, I decided to leave that job and pursue RUclips full-time.
I recently bought a house in Cincinnati and love making all kinds of videos, focusing on everything from money and finances (saving, budgeting, and being financally independent in your 20's) to health, fitness, and nutrition, to beauty and fashion. I'm getting married next summer so I also love providing wedding updates and showing you exactly how I'm planning my own wedding.

Don't feel bad about not spending a lot of time with your guests. They came to see you get married and they totally understand. Acknowledge their presence at your wedding and thank them for coming so far to see you and they will be very happy that you acknowledge them.

I was a bridesmaid in western PA in Aug and it rained a little during the ceremony which was outside, however it was the most beautiful wedding I’ve ever been to. It held off pouring during the day until we were inside and exactly the time we needed to be outside it stopped or only sprinkled. It was perfect. The backdrop outside to the ceremony was these huge, tall, mature evergreen trees. With the cloud cover the color was rich in the greens of the trees and grass and it was the most beautiful scenery I’ve ever seen in my life. I love how beautiful that part of the US is. I thoroughly was breathless looking at how lush, green and beautiful it was. I was so blessed to be part of it. I have been to PA 3 times and drove through eastern OH 2 of those 3 times and ended up driving north and east to Lake Erie and Buffalo NY and to Canada Niagra Falls. So gorgeous! Definitely time of my life.
Omg yes to spiritual/"ghost" stuff happening before weddings! I had a couple things happen before mine too and I %100 took it as loved ones dropping signs to us that they were with us on our wedding day and it was so special❤

The way you described all of the stress leading up to your wedding day - I FELT THAT! I would have dissolved from the stress. BUT I went to the Taylor Swift concert in Cincy on Saturday so I knew it all turned out ok! SO HAPPY!
I gasped when I saw that 1st night time photo....could never be better..you have got to frame it and display it in your home.....that one picture made all the worrying worth it.......congrats to you both

I feel you with the ‘what more could go wrong’ feeling leading up to your wedding 🤣 I got sick, my dress almost didn’t fit, the queen had passed away a few weeks before (aussie here - it is very sad she passed, but the day they chose as her rememberance day was our wedding day) meaning we booked on a thursday thinking it would be cheaper, but they made that day specifically into a public holiday and cost us an extra 2k, a week before the wedding, because it was now a public holiday :)
Clancy, you knocked it out of the park with your dress! It was perfect. When I got married it rained in the morning too. It's apparently considered good luck. Thinking back on it, we never made alternative plans, though most of it was inside anyway. I know what you're saying about not remembering everything from your wedding day. Thankfully my BFF remembers the bits I don't.

Beautiful dress and I loved Zach’s suit, very classy. Loved the fireworks pictures. On your wedding day, it always works out for the best. I was married at the end of December and 2 days before, on our rehearsal day, we had a major snowstorm. Two days later for the wedding, the temps were in the 70’s and all the snow had melted.
I’ve been DYING for this video and it did not disappoint! So happy for you Clancy. I’m getting married too in 3 months and your down to earth wedding perspectives along the way have really helped me feel less alone. They say it’s good luck to have rain on your wedding day! We had rain & a rainbow 🌈 & just celebrated our 25th! Congratulations!! I felt the same way about not giving more of the guests our attention but that’s just how it is. Everyone feels that way I think! It’s a day focused on you!!

I had a hurricane at my wedding! I got married in November 2022 in Charleston with an outdoor ceremony. A hurricane hadn’t hit Charleston in November in over 40 years. But my wedding week/weekend it hit. As a California girl, I had no idea what I was getting into with this hurricane wedding week/weekend. Ended up moving ceremony inside, wasn’t able to get any of my outdoor photos I wanted, but all of that aside, it was the best day ever!

It rained on our wedding day also. Ours was outside too. I even sent a prayer up to my grandma to have a 2 hour window to get our wedding done. She answered and we got it done and on the last couple pictures we took it started to rain again. I also heard that it is a good thing for it to rain on your wedding day (almost like a blessing to your marriage!)

Were you not able to organise a lunch for the next day after your wedding to spend more time with all your loved ones who travelled in for your wedding? I've known many friends who do this now, where they postpone their honeymoon by a few days so they can benefit from spending time with people who took the time to travel for the wedding.

You both looked amazing and I'm so glad you had an amazing day!! I just got married in November and this made me miss my wedding day lol! My husband and I didn't do a first look despite people trying to convince us to, and I'm so glad we went with what we wanted! We still got to attend half of our cocktail hour, which I was not expecting, so for those holding out on the new norm of doing a first look, trust your gut!

Love this Clancy. My friend got married on the 8th and we live in Colorado. Weather changes every 5 minutes and during first look and such it was raining/sprinkling. Then the actual ceremony it may have rained a little bit but over all went well. Thunder was sure rolling.
