Grands do, but the pianists probably prefer to keep it down during performances for aesthetic purposes (especially during a televised performances). Plus when playing a duo/ensemble piece like this, keeping the stand down creates a better sightline for eye contact and communication purposes between performers and conductors

Do grand pianos never come with a proper music stand? - seems like the performer always has to place the music horizontally inside the case.

The cameraman would quit if you blocked the performers with a high music stand.
They need to have eye contact with each other.
