Not sure if Argentina is Favorite to win Copa America but they're certainly my favorite team, mostly because of Messi and Di Maria and their younger stars are also nicer and not as flamboyant or cocky like other teams' younger players. Must be a role model effect from Messi and Di Maria.

Argentina getting the easier root. It's so easy to reach the finals from their end. Whereas the other side has Brazil, Uruguay, Columbia all the other favourites haha
true but to be champion they will need to win the final...against the best between Brazil, Uruguay & Colombia....so the best team and champion will be who wins the final.
The favorites you mention are considered such now thanks to their performance in the cup; the pre-tournament favorites were quite evenly distributed. On the other hand, I wouldn't rank Brazil so high, nor Ecuador and Venezuela so low.
Nonetheless, I agree that the FIFA ranking doesn't work well and could be better distributed. Mexico, for example, is ranked above countries like Canada, Chile, and Ecuador, which placed them as a group seed, while Chile, which is much stronger, ended up in the group of death.
Still, the situation in the Copa America is not as bad as in the Euro Cup, where one side of the bracket ended up completely empty. The real final of the Euro will be the semifinal from the side with Germany, Spain, Portugal, and France.

That's why for me Argentina vs Ecuador is going to be a tough match. In the last two games the score has been pretty tight with Argentina winning 1:0 in both games. Ecuador's resilience is something to behold. Argentina should be at their best in terms of finishing if they want to win comfortably.

He currently has four goals in three matches in Copa America. If anything he is the most in form Argentina player at the moment. He just needs to continue with that good run of form.
