Argentina is old, injured, slow and tired of winning. Canada is young, fast and hungry. I have Canada winning 4-1. But then they’ll lose to Colombia 3-0.
Lol but who can they get to replace him. I mean even canada took about a year after Herdman left. I guess the USA could put some assistant in until they find a full time manager.
6:35 Jesse Marsch: "We won't back down" now this is an American Quality we remember with Steve Sampson and Bruce Arena.. but we don't find it or we didn't see it in Gregg Berhalter in the 5-1 Friendly or 2-1 loss to Panama and the 1-0 loss to Uruguay. This is the judgment mistake that the USSF made in choosing Gregg over Jesse. Berhalter seems to backdown to stronger opponents. The USMNT should never backdown or give that impression against any opponent. US FANS see that clearly.
We'll see an unbelievable semi-final where Argentina need to fix a lot of things before the match as they didn't have a good performance in quarter-finals although they beat Ecuador on penalties. Meanwhile, Canada will have a lot of work to do if they want to stop Argentinian team and their top player "Lio Messi".
"And it still might not be enough" why would you say that?? Did you write Tuesday off as a loss already? You should say "we will win, we will fight, inch for inch, run faster than ever before, and we will play the finals"
12:00 To the USSF, Use Copa America to SPRINGBOARD yourself to where you want to be on 2026... Now why didn't you think of that? Why didn't Gregg think about it too?
Unlikely Messi will play, but if he does that should be to Canada’s advantage considering he’s clearly not fit. Argentina are better off resting him for the final. They should beat Canada comfortably without him tbh. Canada have already over achieved and should be proud of getting to the semi’s. I’m sure US fans aren’t enjoying it. This could have been them considering they were in an easier group, but just couldn’t perform when it really mattered.
@@johnparktowers1750, true & Canada did not "over achieve" to get to this point. This is who they are & no, they are not satisfied with only winning the quarterfinals.
Yeah and keep complaining after the game that Argentina team was 2 min late after the first half, and that you played against 12 men including the referee, yap yap yap. Are you taking your boys for the marathon, stressing on speed and run? This is football, needs tactics, skills, ball control, passing ability, and finishing abilities in which your team sucks.
As much as I admire the mentality of the Canadian coach, and yes, Canada had Alfonso Davies, who is a superstar in Bayern Munich, however, the reality is Argentina is a World Cup winner , Copa cup winner, and is at the top of the world team ratings, and they have a large number of world class players. If they are lucky enough that the argentinians miss obvious chances, they will still be overpowered by Messi and his team mates. Canada just does not have critical mass of world class players. Even Brazil will struggle against Argentina , France and Spain are the only other teams that can match Argentina power play. Netherlands can give them a good fight for the money.
@@jojokabo78 yeah me too. It is exciting to know that Canada did well enough (and have the favoured blessing) to get this far in the Copa cup. unless Messi and the team is day dreaming or mentally totally out of it, Argentina will hit many goals past Canada goalkeeper. Dibu Is just too good at penalty shootouts that it's in everyone's best interest to beat Argentina in the 90/120.
@@Sid-gu5qk Argentina has pressure cuz they know they have to make it to the final . Canada just have to play their game . Ecuador had Argentina beat but they missed chances
Depends how biased the reffing will be again, so far Canada has the refs being influenced by the South Americans every game.
Well, at least they ensure the 4th place in Copa America, that's something.
I love Canada and Canadian people. But sorry, I'm Messi's fan. So, go Argentina!
Must be nice to have a coach that doesn’t look and sound like his dog just died
Anything is possible in a match, but I can not fathom 🇨🇦 as a finalist 😂
No one can. That’s what makes this as fun as sex
Why not? Then you can fight for the world cup. Greetings from Buenos Aires
There are millions of people who have done more with a football than you, who were born in Canada.
Go Canada 🇨🇦👍
Argentina is old, injured, slow and tired of winning. Canada is young, fast and hungry. I have Canada winning 4-1. But then they’ll lose to Colombia 3-0.
I’m so sad USSF shit the bed by not hiring this guy, he could have taken the USMNT to the next level.
Day 6 with Gregg Berhalter still Coach 🤦🏽♂️ let’s see how long this lasts.
Lol but who can they get to replace him. I mean even canada took about a year after Herdman left. I guess the USA could put some assistant in until they find a full time manager.
lol they waiting for it to blow over for they can keep him
@@rogerc23 they could hire a canadian hockey coach.
It's funny I am an Argentina fan but I am looking at the line. It's crazy..

Jesse Marsch: "We won't back down" now this is an American Quality we remember with Steve Sampson and Bruce Arena.. but we don't find it or we didn't see it in Gregg Berhalter in the 5-1 Friendly or 2-1 loss to Panama and the 1-0 loss to Uruguay.
This is the judgment mistake that the USSF made in choosing Gregg over Jesse.
Berhalter seems to backdown to stronger opponents.
The USMNT should never backdown or give that impression against any opponent.
US FANS see that clearly.
lol Gregg backs down and parks the bus for 90 and cross and pray tactics
Coach says how he wanted the GK to play and takes responsibility for the goal "That's on me."
Thanks USMNT for the top shelf pickup for Canada.
it dont matter if they dont back down or not. They still lose
Forza Canada!
"And it still might not be enough" why would you say that?? Did you write Tuesday off as a loss already? You should say "we will win, we will fight, inch for inch, run faster than ever before, and we will play the finals"
World #1 (Argentina) vs World #48 (Canada)
Canada will go up, the are way better then Chile and Peru and they are both in the 30s. After the COPA, they will go to 30s or early 40s
OBVIOUSLY ARGENTINA WILL TRASH THEM
Canada belongs in the high-20s. They are equal with USA/Mexico.
@@luizhenriquemorales7134 all caps, reminds me of somebody
@@luizhenriquemorales7134 maybe. we'll see.
It will be epic if they will defeat the Argentines 💎🩵🤍
he sounds like a hockey coach.

To the USSF,
Use Copa America to SPRINGBOARD yourself to where you want to be on 2026...
Now why didn't you think of that?
Why didn't Gregg think about it too?
I hope Canada beats Argentina 2-0.
I am definitely sure
its actually the other way around, Argentina defeated Canada 2-0 last week
After Argentina beat Canada ; be prepared to blame refrees
@@BrotherBernard-yy4yd: I really didn't like Your comment at all. 😠
I hate it!! 😳
@@BrotherBernard-yy4yd Argentina got all the calls their way last time, seems they need all the advantages.
I hope the sky turns silver and my left hand will be like my right leg.
Go canada from an aussie
Unlikely Messi will play, but if he does that should be to Canada’s advantage considering he’s clearly not fit. Argentina are better off resting him for the final. They should beat Canada comfortably without him tbh. Canada have already over achieved and should be proud of getting to the semi’s. I’m sure US fans aren’t enjoying it. This could have been them considering they were in an easier group, but just couldn’t perform when it really mattered.
They barely beat Canada the first time, that game was pretty even, now Canada is on a role and they are dangerous.
@@johnparktowers1750, true & Canada did not "over achieve" to get to this point. This is who they are & no, they are not satisfied with only winning the quarterfinals.
No pudieron encontrar a alguien que hable mas mal Inglés que el que anunció el inicio de la conferencia?
I think it will be a competitive match worse thing Argentina will do if it ends up in penalties or Canada will have to deal with Martinez to score
No le preguntaron acerca del infame arbitraje
Here’s a guy who’s not afraid of addressing to the media, ggg gets his soft ball reporters lol it’s day and night with these coaches
Marsch is so much better than Berhalter
ARGENTINA FORB THE WIN AGANST CANADA

This guy is the art of saying nothing
If Canada doesn't lose 5-0 to Argentina it will be the biggest achievement in Canadian football history.
lol... Canada won't lose by more than 3 goals. Expected result is 2-0 Argentina.
Argentina is going to lose 1-0 against Canada
But don’t cry for me Argentina
@@anthonyboey3210 true, but I'm still excited. Even a small chance is enough for me! Canada let's gooo!
@@jojokabo78 yeah me too. It is exciting to know that Canada did well enough (and have the favoured blessing) to get this far in the Copa cup. unless Messi and the team is day dreaming or mentally totally out of it, Argentina will hit many goals past Canada goalkeeper.
So Canada team should simply enjoy the opportunity to even get to the semi-finals and to play against the prestigious Argentinian team.
Argentina is going to destroy canada in the semi final my prediction 3-0 or 4-0 to win they will face brazil in the finals again or uruguay.
It's so over for Canada
Even if it is, it’s been a ride. Going out against the defending champs would still mean being able to hold their heads up high. What’s anyone going to say, oh Canada lost against one of the greatest international sides today and that’s a knock on us? Heck no
actually, even if we lose to Argentina (very likely) WE PLAY AGAIN FOR 3RD. MAXIMUM value out of the tournament. SOOO GOOOD get to watch two more matches with my country where we can learn and grow. You may go away now salty american troll.
get to play two more times actually regardless. great opportunity to learn and grow. it's okay. the US will be back in good form.
Let’s see what happens 😅
Yeah, because the refs will make sure of it.
2:47 In international soccer you gain respect by beating teams like Argentina, Brazil, Germany, Spain, Netherlands etc ..not by beating Venezuela...with all due respect please don't get ahead of yourselves.
@@mheiseus thanks, tips.
If Canada is healthy, they're going to give Argentina all they can handle, because Canada doesn't play timid soccer, they attack, they have team speed, and they pressure you. I won't be surprised if they beat Argentina 2-1.
Canada is not healthy ⚠️
I go for 2-0 Canada to beat Argentina
Canada is not healthy. Tajon broke his leg. Venezuela couldn't handle Shaffelburg and were going after his legs (with the ref doing nothing about it).
Ojalá 😅
