Jessica’s album is in English except beep beep korean version.
Jessica shared that she wanted Amber to sing whatever she likes on this song. So Amber sung the whole song and send it to Jessica and told her to crop it. But then Jessica went with the rap and Amber singing coz Jessica loved Amber’s voice on this song so she wanted half of the song to be Amber’s.
Jessica from SNSD and Amber from F(X)! Yes, please! I love the connection between these two artists--Amber was in F(X) with Jessica's younger sister Krystal. Happy new year to all!!!

Luv your reaction, always so genuine & exuberant (esp towards Jess 😉). GGG is my fav song on the album too, but the entire album, literally every single song, is awesome & deserving of a permanent place on my all-time fav playlist. Hopefully she'll release more MVs (cue Set Me Free) & you would have more to react to! Beep Beep! ✨💗✨

Amber actually has always sung more than she raps, & if you go back & check the line distribution videos you'd realise you probably heard her sing more than you realize in f(x) songs because she just naturally sings in a higher pitch than she raps/talks. She often just blended in so well with the others that unless it was a solo line many didn't notice. In fact she didn't learn to rap or dance until a trainee at SM. She is actually the only member of f(x) that auditioned just as a vocal from the start. However she absolutely wowed the rap teacher with how fast & well she picked it up, quickly advancing to the top of the class. So when they were trying to put the group together the company asked Amber if she would take lead/main rap position. Otherwise they would have to wait until another female trainee not in a group got good enough at rapping to take that position. Waiting more months would've meant that Victoria likely would not sign on for the group though, as she was equally interested in acting & had an offer. Being the oldest (only group member an adult already) she was worried if she waited too long she'd be considered too old. So Amber said yes to being main rapper because she did like rapping & she would get to sing too. (Sulli was 2nd rapper, Victoria 3rd. Everyone in the group could do it fast & in rhythm, but Amber had the deepest voice & really got that rap tone the best. Sulli's voice also went deeper when rapping & talking compared to her singing, but not nearly as much as Amber.)
Most of Amber's solo music isn't rap , & she has often featured on others' songs as rapper but sometimes vocalist too.
