I always felt like the scene was slowed down for impact. I interpreted as them just not making it in time. Cause they all pull up sammy once. So it is doable.

One thing I like about bens “death” is he wasn’t ready to sacrifice himself and fall to his death. He was terrified and his reaction was how most people would’ve acted in that situation

Another thing about his "death" I like... It actually feels like they genuinely try to make you think he DID. There's no "he's fine" five minutes later. Granted, you kind of know he didn't, but I still left with the feeling that even though the kids probably won't die, it still feels like they can.

When they got swept into the Mosasaur lagoon I was like, ”Seriously? In a canal commonly used by tourists? How does the park get away with things like this? Now they’re in danger for a stupid reason.”

@@dominiklehn2866 The Parasaurs behaved the way they did because of Bumpy, not the humans which they must have gotten used to by then. Bumpy was a new intruder in their territory which made them both curious and territorial.
@@Dinoslay still dangerous, especially when you let the visitors guide the kayak themselves. Imagine if some made a picture with flash. Under no circumstances should animal and visitor not have at least a fence between each other.
The characters develop like ashoka did in star wars. They start out annoying asf but then they grow on you. Imo that's how you should develop children in tv shows.

She's always been one of my favourite characters. But I get what you say. her first appearance in the movie she acted and sounded like a freaking squeaker!!
Most of the characters are still annoying as hell, especially Sammy. Her voice is so fucking annoying not to mention she has the intelligence of a 4-year-old. This has led me to the conclusion that her parents live in Alabama and are relatives.

I had really low expectations for this show, and they went above and beyond. I also have to say that I also cried, not just once, but a few times
I didn't but I think that's because somethngs wrong with me BUT I was emotionally drained and broken after finishing because I genuinly thought Ben had died until the end.

Honestly i had no doubts about this show because i'm more of an optimistic person when it comes to cartoons, and also i told you DreamWorks aren't afraid of killing off characters even the ones that aren't important to the show, you can't always judge a book by it's cover.

Plot Twist: Ben is dead and that was just a muscle contraction at the end.
A thing that i think people didn't notice is that he was breathing, you can see it in his stomach. That wasn't just a muscle spasm, he was "waking up", like he was unconscious.

That's why I'm slightly disappointed none of the kids actually died. The fact that this is a kid's show means that none of them would die in future seasons.

I always thought sammy forcing herself on others were her overcompensating for being a spy. She was extroverted, but she also needed a character witness. And she must’ve felt guilty in her conscience too. And as an introvert, extroverted people really do try to bring you out of your shell. Cause they think something is wrong with you for being quiet and reserved, so it wasn’t that weird.
9:42 I love how Kenji in this scene is just staring at the counselors as if to say "See?" and rubbing it in their face
Darius was the only kids who beat the game to get in. Kenji got in because he is most likely well known throughout the park. Brooklynn most likely got in from her channel and JW wanted he to endorse the new camp. Sammy got in cause her family supplies the beef for the park. Yaz got in because she was sponsored by JW. Ben’s parents work for Misroani.
I like how this series came out the same year as Among us, Sammy is the imposter
Bumpy is totally the best one here in the series, still love Blue though. Love how Alteori compared Darius with Little foot from Land Before time though.

The most amazing part here is when she sees the classified file and says jackpot an ad roll rolls out immediately. Almost as if Wuu himself was censoring the contents xD

Darius was the only one who beat the game, the others made it there through other ways. Yasmina was sponsored, Brookline was famous, bens mom worked at JW, Benji was rich and his dad owned many villas on the island, and sammie’s farm produced all the food for the park.
Ben and Kenji in the gyrosphere was one of my favorite scenes, I laugh all the time when watching it. The look on his face 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I'm actually interested in seeing more of Ben's story, which I hope they go into in Season 2. I could've sworn that Ben mentioned something about not supposed to be there when he stood up for Bumpy. So I wonder if he purposefully or mistakenly somehow made it to Camp Cretaceous since they already had Sammi going without her family knowing.

@@idrisb3765 I know, I wanted the little girl to not just be a clone, but also find out she had an ability to communicate with some of the dinos. I think that would’ve been cooler than her just being a clone of Lockwood’s daughter.
What stopped me from truly disliking Ben (at first) was how much he reminded me of Eddie from It. As much as I love him, he’d probably be just like Ben in this situation.
What stopped me from disliking Ben at first is that I put myself in my shoes and I would act exactly like Ben in a place like Jurassic World

The dinos look amazing tho. They clearly used the majority of their budget on animating the dinos
I actually like the choice to make the focus more on the kids rather than the dinosaurs for one main reason, the show has more run time than one of the movies. While the movies can give us a mix of good characters and good dinosaur action, I feel the show using its longer running time to flesh out the characters more was a good idea and I'm glad the show was able to make me like these characters as much as I did. Brooklyn especially I wasn't expecting to enjoy but was rather surprised to find myself actually enjoying her character ark.
Missed the dialouge scene in episode 7, Litterly the most relatable thing ive ever heard, Everyone understands that once this is over they won't talk to eachother never again, Since they have nothing in common, That's cold and deserved since they went threw a lot. Ps. They shouldn't have showed Ben's hand twitching, In my opinion since it would have been a shocking way to start season 2.

I honestly kinda liked ben from the start. He gave me this kind of Eddie from IT: Chapter 1 vibe and I respect that.

@Emerald Malone yeah the series will probably end with like only 3 kids surviving at best. If what I say is right. They cant escape from a raptor, toro, and rexy. Plus if you add the spinosuar it's persistent so he'll probably kill at least one person
@Emerald Malone I agree. They barely be able to escape Indy. And the Spinosaurus would do anything to kill them. Unless they do something to scare it off. If the Spinosaurus picks them they have to be on the constant move. And top it with the raptor and rexy. They're dead
After all these years we finally have a Jurassic park show and it was good hopefully we get to have more JP shows in the future
Tbh there’s not much you can really do with Jurassic park’s concept so I think one show’s good enough

At times it feels like a classic capcom survival horror game. and I mean that in a good way, like, there´s a tense situation every 5 minutes that keeps you in the edge of your seat.
But, except for the Darious, the other kids were insufferable.
Episode 7's ending: Ben saved the group, everyone is happy, they are all gonna get out alive

Jest spent the last 8 hours watching the full season at once. It's so goddamn good. I hope season 2 is about how they survived until people eventually found them. I absolutely love Ben as well and I'm so happy he is alive

Didn't know this even existed. I just watched it alongside my brother like it was any other cartoon show, keeping my expectations really low because of how Jurassic World failed me with its second movie. It was a pleasant surprise, to say the least.
The violence doesn't feel forced or excessive at all, and I think it represents pretty well the essence of the franchise, without making it too brutal for younger audiences. There where many "Wow... That actually happened" moments, and I enjoyed them quite a lot; the stakes where a bit higher than what you'd expect from a show like this
I also love how they didn't go the fan-service route and kept Rexy out of the series; her presence would've contradicted what happened in the movie. We'll probably see a lot of her in season 2 anyway.
The characters can be a bit annoying and excessively stereotypical, but there's something about how they interact with each other and solve problems together that makes them great.
I thought it was kinda charming. I definitely think the HQ Dino models are the highlight tho
Now all we need is a proper Godzilla anime that combines the Showa, Heisei and Monsterverse eras and features characters like Madison Russell , Ford Brody and Dr. Serizawa and then we’ll be set. I’d kill to see Maddie raising a newly hatched Godzilla Jr. it would be funny and cute. Also definitely want to see more of Godzilla’s symbiotic relationship with Mothra, and even one with Anguirus...and can we have Ghidorah, Gigan and Megalon as alien invaders...maybe even Moguera and Jet Jaguar...hell, even King Kong and the skullcrawlers and mutha could be in there

This show really sparks a lot of emotion in me since Jurassic Park is my childhood, and dinosaurs are the very thing I connect to most in life. I love spreading knowledge around about dinosaurs and their significance in the world of science and pop culture.

My expectations weren't high, and while the main characters were pretty stereotypical in the beginning, they really grew on me and I ended up liking the whole thing a lot more than I thought I would and am looking forward to season 2. And Ben crying and being terrified as hell when he fell off the Monorail? Loved that scene for how raw and real it was.

My boys (4&6) loved this show from start to end, youngest would run away then start watching from around the corner only to slowly make his way back to the screen.

I'm glad u came around. You had some pretty strong opinions on this show in a prior video. I'm just surfing YT right now watching these reviews to see if everyone is enjoying as much as me. Even in the most unrealistic and unbelievable parts, I just shake my head and keep watching. 😊 It's that good.

I really, really enjoyed the action scenes in every season. They are so damn well done and kinda fun too
But one point that always drives me insane is the whole mosasurus scene. It was so good, yet so bad because the setup made me go, does no one understand how bad of an idea it is to connect a tourist attraction to an apex predator's enclosure directly?
I know this is an old video, but i just finally watched this show the other day (not sure why it took me so long), and i really like it, i'm hoping they'll do a season 4, or that these kids will show up in Dominion.
As for the start of the first season, i got a lot of Astrid vibes from Brook, at least, Astrid how she was in HTTYD 1 (there's one scene later in the series where she's framed in profile from her left side, smiling at Kenji, or Darius, and her face looks very similar to Astrid's in that shot).
Kenji reminded me A LOT of Snotlout in the beginning. Arrogant to a T, completely self absorbed and full of himself.
To me, Ben and Darius were a mix of both Hiccup and Fishlegs.
I had low hopes that the show would be any good when it came out. I was surprised and pleased by the great story writing. The small and large flaws each character has.
One of my favorite Cause and Effect moments in the show was the scene of the Yasmine driving the van after she stops trusting the other's driving skills. She get into a distracted argument while driving. In most if not every show it is utterly ignored that the driver hasn't once looked at the road while carrying on their conversation never one crashing their vehical. In this case, that shuttle detail was the cause of the kids losing their new ride and crashing. Causing them to fall farther behind and missing the boat. Something that was a great teachable lesson for all new and older drivers to learn.
I know there are more great moments in the show like this one, but it was one I thought was worth sharing.
If Clone Wars can be dark then so can Camp Cretaceous. I want some Dreamworks level swearing and I expect one of those kids to die and stay dead.
clone wars was hardly "dark" think the most gruesome stuff we had as maul escaping the destroyer in the final season, and even then it was just him severing limbs and impaling people

NGL, saw it (as available shows) on Netflix a while now but never watched it it til just just now, thinking it would suck but I am glad I was so wrong! I am also impressed with the CGI in it especially considering it's tv show quality production. Some CGI look better than other live action JP films IMO. Enjoyed the video review btw
You know for a kid show with bad animation I really liked it. It was actually for me a pretty solid storyline that kept you entertain and you understood all the characters struggles.
The animation is actually pretty good in seasons 4 and 5

I like darius for the fact that I see myself in him. Dino nerd, not to his degree but close, close relationship with your dad and then he passes away. at first willing to get into trouble to see dinosaurs, almost killing two campers indirectly, but eventually change my perspective to help out the campers.
Darius is suppose to be the nerd but hes a WHOLE CHAD, it was like he wasn't a child character in Jurassic Park, he was the Hero!

Yasmina was kinda snobbish. As an introvert, yeh, we can be like that. That being said, I think folks needs to understand that the shell is a part of who we are and not something we need to extricate ourselves from all the time. It's what makes us introspective and deep thinkers. And that's needed for making decisions and, lo and behold - forming strong relationships. Snobbishness aside, Sami broke her heart by betraying her and I felt that.
Yas and Sami's friendship did hit me in the feels. That's how some of my greatest friendships were formed. It's said that introverts make a lot of friends primary because an extravert saw us, liked us, decided to adopts us, giving said introvert endless opportunities to connect with other people.
Sami was cringe annoying. Though the first thing I thought of when she admitted she was a sky was, "DUDE what kinds family you got that would let you spy on powder-keg dino island!?" and she received a lot more depth when we realize she did this of her own free will to save her family's business.
I am Ben. I am that annoying person that somehow knows the thousand and one ways one single thing can go wrong. [My being in engineering though, that's yeh, a huge part of my job]. I'd BE that kid who'd memorize the evac plan before I set food on the soil of that place - just like Ben. So though I found him cringe annoying as well - I loved him all the same.
Kenji I found the most annoying. But he grew on me fast by his surprising emotional maturity. The scene where he deadpan stared at Roxi and Dave being partnered with Ben had me laughing so hard I had to pause the show several times.
"I competed with a torn ACL" Yasmina is my child!!! I want her to rest and repair and it'd be interesting to see how she does that on dino-infested island being out of commission with her ankle. It means that someone who is so self-sufficient will have to start relying on others - and that will give opportunity for a lot of depth to her character which I'm excited to see. Unless they do a time skip to when she's all healed and dandy, and I don't get to see that.
Darius won me from the first episode primarily because of his relationship with his brother. I've got only one sibling myself. And you see their interaction of care with one another through some definite signs of depression.
this is an extremely well written show, all of these characters are three dimensional, have great depth and a huge amount of character development in just 8 20 miunte episodes.

Lol I can see how Steven Spilburg put his dark turn on things. That guy died on his birthday, and it was rather creepy how he seemed to have *GENUINE* fear.

The carnotaurus scene near the mosasaur was something out of a video game, it looked like he just spawned there and was playing with a tin can. Then when the carno walked away after being exploded was a bit too long.
They also seemed to make the dinos a bit less intelligent for the sake of the kids survival. The Indominous Rex would have disguised itself 100% in that blue storage things scene.
I get the kids want something enjoyable though, so I would recommend it to 9 or 10 year olds, also older.
I disagree with the carnotaur walking away, he just roasted and burned alive, predators in real life leave prey behind if it’s too much hassle, animals like sharks do this too

@@ChonkedCat to be fair though they started screaming at it like in real life if you scared a tiger away with a fire work and started screaming at it it would attack you
Another thing about it is why the hell would the mosasaur *stop* hunting the characters to go and *circle* the metal pole

The fake out at the end didn’t fool me, the moment I saw daylight though the oxygen-tank-blown holes, I knew they were screwed.
Basically by the time Rexy and Blue battle Indominus Rex, everyone is already evacuated, so for there to be daylight, I knew the kids missed their chance to escape Isla Nublar.
It was freaking cool and i got to see the happenings of jurassic world the movie in the show, i hoped to see indy vs rexy though but over all its awesome alteroi!
