I 100% relate to your comment on how normal the guys are despite being so big and talented. It's that aspect that really got me hooked on them. I don't want to stop watching their vlogs and behind the scenes videos because we get to see the guys being themselves, and they are awesome. If you want to see how sweet they can be and how much they care about their crew, you can check out their tour North American manager's vlogs on his channel. He's Tank the Tech on RUclips. There's lots of back stage footage in those vlogs that is really cool.

After the first successes with Nico they had the chance to expand in Northamerica and the Eskimo Callboy was not only an unnecessary risk, acoording to them, some band would not part the stage with them. They said, "Eskimo" would not have been a problem in Europe but it one in Northamerika. Not to mention; it was never to be meant offensive. There were a ton of videos of the early days of EC were they said the wanted to came up with dumbest band name and Eskimo Callboy was the result. For me it was a completely reasonable business decision and I never understood why people were mad with new name.

People in general will always be mad when a change occurs. Some people don't like changes, and especially some group don't like a change because of a 'woke' reason.
Mind you, I am all in for the change :D

Yeah, like I still can't comprehend why some people are so mad about the name change especially when it's for the better (for the band and for other people as well) and I really like the way they actually took the effort to re design the album covers and some yt thumbnails.
Plus the new name fits them so much better in my opinion, idk 'Electric Callboy' just flows better to say/pronounce to me lol

They actually knew Nico for many years before joining the band. He was the vocalist in a band called "To The Rats And Wolves", and they toured together. They were pretty good. There's a fun history with other bands, and how everyone just changed members constantly.
And, yes, they are VERY normal. Just regular guys. Regular guys who work hard, but also have fun and love what they do.

@realgoji I loved your reactions to this amazing band. Just a heads up, the band is Very open to reaction videos. If you’re having videos blocked, reach out to them and they will release the blocks. It isn’t their fault, it’s just the stupid RUclips algorithm automatically blocking. Good luck! Love your passion

The metalcore band Her Smile In Grief (founded in 2007 as Beautiful Broken) split up in 2010. the lineup at that point was Cherina Theisen (vocals), Sebastian Stolz (aka Sebastian Fischer, vocals), Kevin Ratajczak (keyboards, backing vocals), Daniel Haniß & Pascal Schillo (guitar), Daniel Klossek (bass), Michael 'Micha' Malitzki (drums). Without the two main vocalists, the other members founded Eskimo Callboy with singer Sebastian 'Sushi' Biesler (clean & harsh) that same year. The name was chosen because it's totally random and has no meaning.
In 2005 the deathcore band Resurrection Of Hate was founded, after a minor lineup change it was renamed to Beast War Returns in 2007. The members were Dixi Wu (harsh vocals), Danny Güldener & Marc Dobruk (guitar), Stanislaw 'Stanni' Czywil (bass), David Friedrich (drums) when they disbanded in 2012.
Also in 2012, EC drummer Micha left out of private reasons, David Friedrich joined in. The other members of Beast War Returns founded To The Rats And Wolves with drummer Simon Yildirim and clean singer Nico Sallach. EC's Daniel Haniß produced their debut ep, the first 2 albums (Simon Y. produced the 3rd) and was involved as a songwriter in all those releases (including the 3rd album).
in 2013 Sebastian Stolz founded the metalcore band Fall Of Gaia, Daniel H. worked with them as producer and songwriter too.
In 2015, Dixie Wu appeared in the video for EC's song "Crystals" in an acting role, not as vocalist.
By the end of 2019 To The Rats And Wolves announced their end and disbanded after two farewell shows early in 2020.
In Febuary of 2020, EC announced Sushi's departure from the band, the next day Sushi announced his new project Ghostkid.
Danny & Stanni of TTRAW joined Ghostkid (Danny left by the end of 2020).
In April, EC announced that they've found a new singer, early in June they revealed TTRAW's Nico Sallach as the newcomer. Hypa Hypa was released mid June as his introduction.
In 2021, Daniel Haniß founded Samurai Pizza Cats with vocalist Sebastian Fischer (formerly Stolz) and drummer Stefan Buchwald (both Fall Of Gaia), shortly thereafter bassist Stefan Reuter joined (he previously played for the pop rock band Eleven Years, another project Daniel H. was involved with as producer and songwriter).
By the end of 2021, EC announced that they were in consideration of changing the band name. They interviewed linguists and ethnologists about the word Eskimo and why it's considered as pejorative in some regions and documented some of it on video. Early in March of 2022 the re-branding was finalized.
In March of 2022, EC's original drummer Micha filled in for a live performance on a German tv show (they played Pump It!) as David was on a humanitary mission at the Polish-Ukranian border.
Also in March of 2022, Samurai Pizza Cats release their song Pizza Homicide with EC's Nico as guest vocalist.
In April of 2022, the first trailer for Spaceman gets released and it shows (if one looks closely to the screen on the screen) the "reboot" of their previous eps and albums to the new branding.
EC guitarist Pascal and his brother Oliver run a videography company (Schillo Bros.) which is responsible for the vast majority of their videos.
In 2017, drummer David won the 4th season of the German version of "The Bachlorette". In 2018, he participated in the 12th season of the German version of "I'm a Celebrity - Get Me Out of Here" and ended on 4th place (out of 12). The same year he participated on the IaCGMOoH celebrity special of the German version of Come Dine With Me/ Dinner Takes It All. They mock his Bachlorette fame in the video for MC Thunder (2017), it's a storytelling video with the band not appearing, he has a small cameo at the end.
Da du nun möglicherweise gelegentlich Musik-Reactions machen wirst (kein Druck, du wirst sicher merken was sich richtig für dich anfühlt) und League of Legends bei dir ein Thema ist:
Das Lied "Legends Never Die" der amerikanischen Pop-Rock Band Against The Current, war 2017 der offizielle Titelsong der League of Legends Weltmeisterschaft. In 2023 veröffentlichte die Symphonic Metal Supergroup The Dark Side Of The Moon eine sehr gelungene Coverversion davon.
TDSOTM wurde 2021 gegründet und besteht aus der schweizerischen Sängerin Melissa Bonny (Ad Infintum [Symphonic Metal]), Gitarrist Hans Platz & Harfinistin Jenny Diehl (beide von der deutschen Mittelalter-Metal Gruppe Feuerschwanz) und dem dänischen Schlagzeuger Morten Lowe Sorensen (von der schwedischen Melodic Death Metal/ Symphonic Metalcore Band Amaranthe).

Definitely a nice read, funny to hear that the drummer was in "Ich bin ein Star, hold mich hier raus" as it is a show my brother really likes and now because of me also listens to EC xD
Legends never die is a fantastic song and of course I've already watched all of their videos and music. The cover is also something I've already seen. It's great
