This man (Akuma) here is instant and relentless offense: who needs defense when offense is the best defense. Crisp and awesome cartoon come to life like graphics-outstanding.
This is the best shoryuken player that I've seen to date. Shoryuken is the only invincible move in the game (while it's on its way up, nothing else can stop it), but it's also one of the more difficult moves to engage efficiently. It can be used to stop/evade all kinds of attacks, but you just have to know how and when to engage. This guy knows what he's doing.
This is because the American arcade version of the game was designed to eat your quarters like other arcade fighting games from 1993-1996 in America. The Japanese Arcade version is much more fair and easier.
This is the BEST of the old skool Street Fighter 2 era. Capcom should a release this on Super Nintendo back in 94 this game with me billions if they release this in the shops but then and now I can guarantee it was a sold out the same day
Does anyone know if this version of Akuma was stronger or faster than Ryu and Ken? I'm aware of some of the differences in moves like the aerial Hadouken but was just curious if he had other advantages as a playable character. Seems low defense was a trend started here, cuz Akuma is traditionally a glass cannon

Blankas rolling attack can stop it rising and a number of anti airs can too.

That combo, from the Tatsumaki to the Shoryuken is so impressive! The tatsumaki to the tatsumaki is jaw dropping as well.

昔良くオールパーフェクト狙いで一発でも当てられたら負け。とかやったり9秒でかたつけるのどっちが多いかとかやってたな・・
大会もよく出てた・・あの頃は乱入してきてもストツー負け無しだった。新宿の地下のゲーセンはレベルがすげー高いゲーマー達が居て、良く挑みに行きまくってた。
懐かしい・・。
ゴウキ初登場の時とか興奮しまくってヤバかった・・。
ゲーセンでゴウキ出して人だかり出来たり、本当、注目度が凄まじいキャラでもあって使ってて本当楽しかったし、ストレスすげー解消されまくってた・・。
それからはもうゴウキしか使わなくなって大ファンになったな・・。懐かしすぎる。。
あの頃の大会にまた出たい。本当楽しかったな。。
