Hey guys! I'm so glad you enjoyed this and understood the point of this video. This is something that I'm quite passionate about. I want to make a note here as I'm surprised to see some people actually defending 'McJudgerson' type behavior. Though this is only a handful of commenters, I still find this to be quite disturbing. Nobody should ever be allowed to act like a Judy McJudgerson any more than someone is allowed to teach heretical teachings. Both are sins. I don't ever see anywhere in scripture where this type of behavior is commended and blessed. To be clear- We can call out falsehood. We must. This is something we need to do. Those who have been around for a while on my channel know I do this myself. But I've been very consistent in always expressing love for those I disagree with. I've surprisingly gotten backlash for that. Yes, we need to deal with bad theology and straight up *wrong* teaching, but we don't need to be horrible about it and treat others so badly when we do. We can be bold. We're not allowed to be bullies. By far, I see that much more than I see a 'loving rebuke.' It's difficult for me to understand why anyone would approve of this satirical behavior. I've always been very consistent in how we treat others when we give truth. This isn't the way. Furthermore, sometimes a rebuke isn't needed at all and people are just being extreme. I've seen a lot of damage done because of this behavior within the body in the last few years. It's not helping. We need to discern when a stern rebuke is needed, but it should be the exception, not the rule. Nobody likes an 'authoritarian' type Christian who's easy to offend and hard to please. We need to observe our own reactions to sin while we don't sin ourselves while doing it.
I basically agree. The only critique I’d say is the behavior your video is encouraging (which again, for the most part I agree), is inadvertently emphasizing a loving rebuke that focuses so much on the LOVING that the REBUKE is basically non-existent. We’ve become soooooooo focused as Christians and a society as a whole to show how loving we are, especially when we disagree, that we lose sight of our foundational beliefs and ALL we talk about is how nice we are to one another while we’re disagreeing. And that’s how you get Drag Queen Story Hour. Because nobody lovingly rebukes, they just show how loving they are by not rebuking at all. That’s how you get Christians questioning the very salvation of big named Christian conservative commentators, because they tip toe within civil debate with pro gay marriage supporters. It’s important to be loving and kind, but love also rejoices in the truth. And we as a society have lost sight of that, over correcting the massive political fallout we’ve fallen prey to in recent years.
I was one of the defenders and I agree with this, but the problem is the ratio of actual "Judy"s to Christians seen as Judy when they're not, Christian's who are so scared of this image they don't say anything ever, and Christians who accuse other Christians of being Judy's to save their own reputation, is *steep* In my experience, I've seen "Judy" cause damage, but I see a lot more damage a lot more regularly from the fear that everyone's a Judy. I think YOU, Melissa have a great, thorough, loving approach to discourse with non-believers or new believers. That's the discourse I aspire too. I'm not surprised that what Judy's there are have been trying to get you to pick up a pitchfork. But they really are outnumbered by the Christians who have been bullied WITH this stereotype, rather than BY this stereotype. From what I've seen.

Hehe I just had someone freak out on me about something. They said they had had the Holy Spirit for 8 months so they had discernment and wisdom and I was WRONG. 😂 🤦♀️
@@bygraceonly182 with non-salvific issues it's best to just let them think they're right rather than engage. II timothy 2, lead by example and let them be shamed (wholesome shame is a blessing) by better conduct.
That’s one approach I have used. I chose to engage with this one and didn’t argue the point further than what I had previously shared but pointed out that in the future it wasn’t worth attacking other people’s salvation by claiming they are the only one with Holy Spirit discernment if they want to have discussions with other people about issues surrounding the Bible. I figured it was just a moment of passion for them. 🤷♀️ been there.
Oh gosh, this is so spot-on! I’ve heard sooo many people use “Jesus turned tables!” as an excuse whenever they are being rude and insulting on the internet. The whole skit is great!
You have such a way of getting your point across with humor. I have been this person before! There is a fine balance of sharing truth without wounding another. Thanks for sharing!
I still remember years back when I was judging people for not having a biblical username like I did. How will people know who you represent if your username doesn’t let them know? 🤦🏾♀️😂
Hahaha, I've met far too many Judy's!!! That 'perversion' made me laugh so hard! You hit the nail on the head....or maybe just face punched it...with this whole video! 😂😂
Keep on Fishing ~ Haha! Yup! l know someone VERY dear to me that calls them PERversions too! He goes way further than that and when he teaches the bible, he calls them ''MY teachings'' hilarious!
Oh, my late mother was so 'Judy'! Only Her perspective, denominational sliver group, books, Bible translation (not kidding). Last, but not least, Hairstyle. Jesus as expressed thru His gospel has shown me what love and holiness are, in reality. So thankful for God and for your videos.
Last week there was a picture of Voddie Baucham shaking hands with Tony Evans, and many Voddie fans went nuts over him “associating” or *gasp* being friends with Evans. Like CALM DOWN, people!
That is hilarious 😁 I can't believe you actually bought a pitchfork just for the video 😁I am a new Christian and the reason why I post nothing anywhere is that people will pick me apart for not knowing the entire bible or for not acting perfectly. I don't mind if people are direct to me, but I fear condescension.
Take care and don’t mind the trolls. Just keep reading gods word and educating yourself with the scripture and someday you will be able to hold your own. It just takes time.
God uses babes in Christ as well....He said to timothy to paul to not let others put him down for his youth (ik he meant his age but ey the same can go for being a spiritual babe too) and truth is no matter how much we learn we always have to learn more all of us have made mistakes and if and when you do just ask The Lord to help you see it, repent and don't repeat.....as a christian God had to open my eyes on many things that i misunderstood when it came to His word and other things ....if you'd like i can give u an example lol don't be scared God will help us ...He said to His disciples in matthew 10:9-10 "When they deliver you over, do not be anxious how you are to speak or what you are to say, for what you are to say will be given to you in that hour. For it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you." for us though we do have to know and learn the word so.we can be ready to give an answer for our faith....also when The Holy Spirit reminds us of a scripture we would know what He's referring to it can be scary but as long as you allow The Lord to teach you and as long as you recognize your mistake and put it behind you you'll be ok unfortunately many legalistic ppl don't realize the mistakes that they make or they don't admit to em anyway hence the "log" in their own eye
Do not Worry about not knowing the Whole Bible Perfectly, there are Theologians out there who are Shaky on a Few Verses! also, do not worry if You make a Mistake, just apologise for it, You need only look at some of the Colossal Mistakes *Cephas* (Saint Peter!) made to see that The Lord Jesus Christ the Messiah *more* than understands when We put both Feet right into the Clag!
I wish half of the so called discernment warriors out there could see this. I think a majority of the discernment RUclips channels out there would no longer exist if people actually took your video to heart because your funny parody of this issue is actually very sad but truthful. Great Video!
Melissa these videos are my absolute favourites! You are quite the actor and have a great sense of humour! Hahahaha well done. I have to admit, I’ve been a bit like this at times, so it was a nice, humbling eye-opener. Thanks 😊🙏 God bless
Hilarious because it's so true. Comedy is usually most effective when it's relatable. You do a great job on these videos, Melissa. Godspeed to you in building your ministry for His glory.
" But yelling at them to repent of their sins....TURN OR BURN!" 🙉😂😂 This is a good clip! Bahaha the casserole...🙊 Anyways, We definitely should all REPENT and also encourage others to do so. I personally do not want to burn.
This video is so accurate. We all fall short there’s definitely a healthy loving biblical way to help, correct or strengthen others. ..And I’ve got a similar message from my friend today (after a couple months we haven’t spoken) about how I am losing my salvation if I don’t do this and that and another things.. how disappointed she is in me etc.. it felt like an attack rather a help. i know she was only concerned about me.. I still love her and did give me chance to understand her instead of judging her.
This right here!! Painfully hilarious!! “Heaven forbid that I learn something from someone with a different view!” Thank you for adding humor to a very sad truth.
Sadly know people like this How can anybody be won to Christ through behaviours like this. Great way to highlight this behaviour Melissa Thank you God bless 🙏
I honestly can't tell the difference between a believe and a non-believer, anymore. The apostasy is in full swing. Great video, by the way. True and entertaining. Thanks for the laugh. I need that.
Hey Melissa! Well done once again - I've been Mr. McJudgerson in a past (dominational church) life. My problem was (and like pesky neighbor cat said if we aren't careful) without relationship with the Father we are self-righteous rule keepers. We should let the Lord love people through us... what a wretched man I am if I do any less. Love you sister Melissa 😊
One way to avoid being a Judy while engaging is to ask more questions about what people mean and refrain from assuming intentions. There are way too many “you’re just ignoring x” or “you’re not educated” or “you’re twisting my words deliberately” or “I won’t play semantics” going on. The average person doesn’t have the energy to figure out how to master manipulate your words, and if they do, it’s usually obvious they’re a troll, in which case you should just leave. Otherwise, just ask people what they mean and explain that you actually want to understand them. If they insist that you’re out to get them, then that’s too bad and you should walk away. But don’t let yourself be the one creating discord by assuming everyone and their mother has the time and energy to spend on deliberately making your day worse.
This was AWESOME! Made my evening ! I laughed so hard. I used to be like this actually, well not as bad and NOW, I’ve been expressly taught by you and want to be an apologist. You’re too awesome! Thank God for you 🙏🏼 😢
This has made my morning more then I can ever say. I have learned over time to rely on the bible, realize I don't know half of what I think I do or probably need to know, and more importantly work on my own salvation so that I can be pleasing to God with emphasis on the "so that I can be pleasing to God part". I tell you since focusing more on that I sure have been able to witness to a whole lot more people and well, a whole lot more people have been able to witness to me! Glory to God!
That reference to Nabeel Qureshi and David Wood was nothing but brilliant, Melissa!!! It's timely too, considering that Nabeel's wife just remarried. Anyway, it was a great reflection of how so many of us can go so astray ourselves when we 'strive to keep others on the same righteous path as us'. By His grace, let us always speak the truth, but in live and humility. And let our actions stem from His magnanimous love too.
Melissa Melissa, I love your videos. YOU ARE TOO MUCH! 😂😂😂 You have the gift to share the Word, teach and expose our past and current behaviors that are not aligned with the Word without offending. Love from Mozambique. 🇲🇿
I had demons come out of me and received the gift of tongues. In my early days of zeal I aggressively attacked denominations and got into fruitless debates. Even though I still speak in tongues and cast out demons I am way more graceful after much correction by the Holy Spirit teaching patience and love. Thank you for your satire. We actually need this kind of thing
Your creativity has not gone unnoticed. Love your comic videos and your beautiful loving way you teach us more about being a Christ follower. And I am 67 years old and still learning. DianeC
You know what sister Melissa, about two months ago I was this way with Marcus Rogers. I never told anyone, but I was. Everything he posted was a problem and it was honestly. But after awhile the Holy Spirit reminded me that I can’t correct every single thing. I was operating in a spirit that wasn’t of God and I’m thankful he showed me that. I didn’t want to be apart of the group that kept coming at him. At the end of the day, I really hope he comes to truth and knowing Christianity’s core beliefs, doctrines, and church history. At the end of the day, I want salvation for him and others who follow him. I love your truthful satire lol. God bless you sister Melissa 🙏🏾
OMG!!! I laughed So hard!!! I imagine this is somewhat true based on the responses in the comment section of videos and articles I read. Well Done Melissa!!
Oh....emm...geee! That was hilarious...but then again I am guilty of being a McJudgerson. Thank you for using satirical humor to remind all of us that we need to balance grace and truth in our interactions with those that don't necessarily share our Biblical perspectives. That was amazing Melissa! And the narrating was killer 😎
Praying for wisdom first is a good thing. One scripture the Lord has used, "be wise as a serpent and innocent as a dove". Of course the balance is not easy. "Pick your battles" is another that comes to mind :)
Melissa, you have no idea how many times I have done exactly what you did at 1:28-- and honestly, how much by God's graciousness and His love that pours in my heart, I have held back(to His glory because I know, even on your videos how much I have felt I needed to straighten you up lol). I have a quote on my desk from E.M Bounds that I am paraphrasing here stating, "the measure of the critical spirit I have shows how far away I am from Christ"
I ABSOLUTELY love you!!! You teach while making it interesting, you are just a light in this ole'world. Luv when you act out the insanity that some of us Christians or what I like to say relationship with my JESUS!! Thnx so much. & NEVER STOP
This is hilarious. Haven't/don't we all act like a Judy at sometime? Thank The Lord for his knowledge, love, and wisdom for changing us and making us better versions of what He wants us to be. And I wonder if the name Judy came about because of 'Judas'?
This is funny and I would bet many of us have commented on the fly , possibly regretting it afterward . Aside from this satirical video, you also make alot of very informative videos of things we as Christians should be aware of such as new age and the demons associated with that .
I get your point, but I think the church in our day in this country is in much greater danger a being passive patty, progressive peggy, hypergrace harry and tolerant tammy than it is of being a Judy McJudgerson. Sorry if that makes me a Judy McJudgerson, but prosperity Pete, Self-Love Sally and No Hell Henry seem to be running the show these days.
Exactly. The Judy in this video is also the stereotype of Christians who do take bold, righteous stands on many things that need to be called out. And many don't say anything out of fear of being called a Judy. Carnal Christians quote Matthew 7:1 when you point out the wicked TV shows they watch or the sin they encourage and invite in but most likely don't know John 7:24 where Jesus says to judge with righteous judgement. We are to take righteous stands against the things of this world, but we are to do so in love, grace, truth and patience. There's a balance that must be struck between the legalistic and hypergrace extremes

Blessings to you!
Rose, so glad you're free!
“And I’m all out of gum” I almost spit out my coffee!! 😆
That narrator needs a raise. :)
Seconded 😂
She's funny bad thing is we are like a clanging gong when we show no love
Yes that narrator is pretty good 😊
7:29 “I’m extremely discerning too. That’s how I know EVERYONE is wrong” 😂
☄🔥🔥🔥🔥
Hehe I just had someone freak out on me about something. They said they had had the Holy Spirit for 8 months so they had discernment and wisdom and I was WRONG. 😂 🤦♀️
@@bygraceonly182 with non-salvific issues it's best to just let them think they're right rather than engage. II timothy 2, lead by example and let them be shamed (wholesome shame is a blessing) by better conduct.
@@bygraceonly182 Well. Did they use all CAPS? That means they’re super discerning. 😂
Pray for all believers. Pray they get into the Word more. Let him who boasts boast in the Lord. Keep in mind friends the Spirit searches all things.

I feel attacked 😂🤣😂🤣
Love this video so much ❤️
🤣😂🤣
Can't wait for Judy to meet Yolanda
Oh gosh, this is so spot-on! I’ve heard sooo many people use “Jesus turned tables!” as an excuse whenever they are being rude and insulting on the internet. The whole skit is great!
You have such a way of getting your point across with humor. I have been this person before! There is a fine balance of sharing truth without wounding another. Thanks for sharing!

Hahhaa. Nice!!! 😂
Yasss!! Love that!
I still remember years back when I was judging people for not having a biblical username like I did. How will people know who you represent if your username doesn’t let them know? 🤦🏾♀️😂
Awww your lil cat! Born Again cat mummas lol 😆😂🤣💞💓🙌🏻🙏🏻

@@beckylouise5608 My cat is a grumpy senior citizen now, and I’m sure she definitely questions any username that doesn’t include her😂🤣💕
So you want with Adele?
The satanic SINger?!
Why people must know that you are Christian? If you are a « full » (not biblical word) Christian, people will see through you Jesus.
Oh no not the Caps Lock Button!!!!, you are viscous, God bless you and thank you for your content
I’ve left so many Christian FB groups because of these types lol this is gold!
Or better yet, delete Facebook
“Those are not just versions people. They are perversions.” 😂
My favourite! 🤣
That sent me🤣
Last week there was a picture of Voddie Baucham shaking hands with Tony Evans, and many Voddie fans went nuts over him “associating” or *gasp* being friends with Evans. Like CALM DOWN, people!
I'm sure their keyboards were on fire 🔥
Was thinking the exact same thought😉😀
You never know. That might be what inspired Melissa to do this video. 🤣
@@MelissaDougherty 😂😂😂😂😜
What's wrong with Tony Evans?
That is hilarious 😁 I can't believe you actually bought a pitchfork just for the video 😁I am a new Christian and the reason why I post nothing anywhere is that people will pick me apart for not knowing the entire bible or for not acting perfectly. I don't mind if people are direct to me, but I fear condescension.
Take care and don’t mind the trolls. Just keep reading gods word and educating yourself with the scripture and someday you will be able to hold your own. It just takes time.
Judy goes the extra mile to make a point.
I had new Christians in mind when I made it 😊🤗
God uses babes in Christ as well....He said to timothy to paul to not let others put him down for his youth (ik he meant his age but ey the same can go for being a spiritual babe too) and truth is no matter how much we learn we always have to learn more
all of us have made mistakes and if and when you do just ask The Lord to help you see it, repent and don't repeat.....as a christian God had to open my eyes on many things that i misunderstood when it came to His word and other things ....if you'd like i can give u an example lol
don't be scared God will help us ...He said to His disciples in matthew 10:9-10 "When they deliver you over, do not be anxious how you are to speak or what you are to say, for what you are to say will be given to you in that hour. For it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you."
for us though we do have to know and learn the word so.we can be ready to give an answer for our faith....also when The Holy Spirit reminds us of a scripture we would know what He's referring to
it can be scary but as long as you allow The Lord to teach you and as long as you recognize your mistake and put it behind you you'll be ok
unfortunately many legalistic ppl don't realize the mistakes that they make or they don't admit to em anyway hence the "log" in their own eye
She just opened the front door and took it from the villagers.
"They're _per-versions"_ - that made me LOL!! Also, your intro guy could do a pretty bang on impersonation of Duke Nukem. Well done!
Melissa these videos are my absolute favourites! You are quite the actor and have a great sense of humour!
Hahahaha well done.
I have to admit, I’ve been a bit like this at times, so it was a nice, humbling eye-opener. Thanks 😊🙏
God bless
Hilarious because it's so true. Comedy is usually most effective when it's relatable. You do a great job on these videos, Melissa. Godspeed to you in building your ministry for His glory.

Agree..... Judy sneaks in here and there.... in us all. Thank you Melissa for another GREAT video😆😆😆😆😆
This convicted me.. thanks sister 😆
As someone who has been cancelled many times. This was a joy to watch. Thank you ❤
I see this so many times on RUclips unfortunately. People really be saying basketball is a sin
" But yelling at them to repent of their sins....TURN OR BURN!" 🙉😂😂
This is a good clip! Bahaha the casserole...🙊
Anyways, We definitely should all REPENT and also encourage others to do so.
Sadly know people like this
How can anybody be won to Christ through behaviours like this.
Great way to highlight this behaviour Melissa
Thank you
God bless 🙏
I am uncomfortable that there are a couple of these things I am guilty of. I'll work on it and put away my pitchfork and pearls lol
I honestly can't tell the difference between a believe and a non-believer, anymore. The apostasy is in full swing.
Great video, by the way. True and entertaining. Thanks for the laugh. I need that.
Melissa, I'm a 54 year old toddler Christian. Your videos help me relax a little, have a laugh and learn. Never stop! 🤣
I want to be so petty and tag tons of youtubers BUT we’ve all been there! This video is golden!
Tear down those walls. Open & honest & loving conversations to help build a stronger body - we all come from different places & have different roles.
Melissa that intro was awesome! 🌻🌻
100% agree with this!
I enjoyed the Nabeel and David reference!
"Those aren't other versions, people. Wake up! They're PERversions" - 😂😂😂🥴
This was AWESOME! Made my evening ! I laughed so hard. I used to be like this actually, well not as bad and NOW, I’ve been expressly taught by you and want to be an apologist. You’re too awesome! Thank God for you 🙏🏼 😢
I can't quite read the badge. I need to borrow that magnifying glass, probably the pitchfork too...
This video goes into my "exposing" playlist☝️😆
That reference to Nabeel Qureshi and David Wood was nothing but brilliant, Melissa!!! It's timely too, considering that Nabeel's wife just remarried.
Anyway, it was a great reflection of how so many of us can go so astray ourselves when we 'strive to keep others on the same righteous path as us'. By His grace, let us always speak the truth, but in live and humility. And let our actions stem from His magnanimous love too.
That Nabeel and David lineXD

Melissa this is awesome and convicting!!
The Nabeel and David was so hilarious! Good points. Love it!!!

“You are getting the caps lock now buddy”, “conform or you are a heretic”… truly love your real humor.

Oh I just absolutely love this an love when you make these videos.. this is so true. Thank you Melissa hope you have a blessed day.
Oh! My! Love the short hair, cape, and Lily Tomlin type of humor. Spot on, Melissa! 🎯 Thanks!
"Turn or burn." 🙄
Oh....emm...geee! That was hilarious...but then again I am guilty of being a McJudgerson. Thank you for using satirical humor to remind all of us that we need to balance grace and truth in our interactions with those that don't necessarily share our Biblical perspectives. That was amazing Melissa! And the narrating was killer 😎
Praying for wisdom first is a good thing. One scripture the Lord has used, "be wise as a serpent and innocent as a dove". Of course the balance is not easy. "Pick your battles" is another that comes to mind :)
Fighting my inner Judy constantly. 🙋🏼♀️
I’m guilty of this sometimes 😔 God I’m sorry! Melissia your videos are wonderful. Funny and convincing at the same time! ❤
Your satires are the absolute BEST.

I needed that! Sad but true. Funny but phony! That magnifying glass takes the cake!
“Do I love them? …That doesn't matter. I'm a Keyboard Warrior; being nice isn't loving.”
I ABSOLUTELY love you!!! You teach while making it interesting, you are just a light in this ole'world. Luv when you act out the insanity that some of us Christians or what I like to say relationship with my JESUS!! Thnx so much. & NEVER STOP
Excellent, and I learned! Thank you, bless you.
This is hilarious.
Haven't/don't we all act like a Judy at sometime?
Thank The Lord for his knowledge, love, and wisdom for changing us and making us better versions of what He wants us to be.
And I wonder if the name Judy came about because of 'Judas'?
So many hilarious quotes I can't even choose my favorite haha!
AGREE!!!!!
You couldn't wait to use all these names you came up with 😂
@@LaCréé.e Yep :)
