I am absolutely blown away by how fast God speaks. For a while now , God has shown me that my voice goes really well with type beats. I've wrote countless of lyrics to many type beat songs with some rap lyrics but I've always thought it's not what God wants because the beat sounds worldy. Earlier I was singing praises to God on a dancehall beat and told God to confirm if this is what he wants me to do. I also told my husband that I feel like I shouldn't and that I should be doing more important things like evangelising and his words were that God can do that through the music. So I left it in Gods hands and asked him to confirm to me. Literally an hour or so later I clicked on this video!!! Wow thank you Jesus! I can't wait to start releasing my music. Even while you mentioned that you're prophesying , as you said it I said it like a second earlier I was like " he's prophesying righ... and then you said " im prophesying right now" I was so blown away. I came from listening to hardcore rap and found it very hard to stop and knew what it was doing to me spiritually But when I finally came to Christain rap I was able to give it up fully. I thought it was bad but it has been many of times that I received a revelation of the word or deeply began to cry off of Christain rap because I was moved by the spirit of God, While listening im rooting for the Holy spirit and thanking God, pray for the people I listen to that they life shows what they are putting in their music. Last thing use descernment that God gives his people so we wont be dismayed. I think we can all agree that some beats/chords/sounds can invoke certain emotions/feelings. Some chords are meant to sound sorrowful, some are meant to sound happy. That’s just the way music works. That being said, SOME RAP BEATS MAKE PPL WaNNA GET DOWN N DIRTY. Some sounds are just more sensual. The thing is you have to use discernment on what beats you use and make sure you’re operating in the Holy Spirit. Or just make your own beats. But I do think some things may just be demonic like possibly screamo music where the goal is to sound like a demon or like swine. That’s debatable. This is precisely what a sinner feels when the Holy Spirit convicts him of sin. It is amazing how long a sinner can live without conviction or godly sorrow for his behavior - how long he can be nearly numb to any sense of wrongness regarding his sinful actions. The Bible says that sin has made unbelievers to be hardhearted, spiritually blind, and past feeling (see Ephesians 4:18,19). But those factors change instantly when the Holy Spirit touches the human soul and exposes its sinful condition. Exposed, naked, confronted - that is exactly what a sinner feels when the Holy Spirit wakes him up to his true spiritual condition. It is the work of the Holy Spirit to convict sinners of their lost condition. The whole world stands guilty before God (see Romans 3:19), but the lost don’t realize they are guilty until that moment when the Holy Spirit reveals it to them. Jesus stated, “No man can come unto me, except the Father…draw him” (John 6:44). This drawing of a person’s heart to Jesus is done through the work of the Holy Spirit. Jesus reminded us of this when He said, “And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin” (John 16:8). Without the work of the Holy Spirit to expose our sinful condition, we would still remain in darkness today, eternally lost and without God. It is amazing to me that a person can be in sin, and even understand that he is in sin, yet nonetheless fail to grasp the real eternal consequences of what that means. He can even be in a church service where he hears about sin and acknowledges that the sermon is true and that he’s a sinner - yet leave that service and continue living the same lifestyle he did before he got there. But something happens when the Holy Spirit begins to work in that person’s soul. He lovingly cross-examines that person, until finally He brings him to a place of confrontation. It is at this point that invisible scales fall from the person’s eyes, and he truly sees for the first time that he is in sin. This is something that can only be revealed by the Holy Spirit. When He convicts of sin, the sinner absolutely knows that he is a sinner. Once the Holy Spirit has lovingly brought that person to the place where he finally sees it for himself, the person has a choice: Will he stay in sin, or will he repent and turn toward God? Helping that person reach this point of decision that has such eternal consequences is the purpose of the Holy Spirit’s convicting ministry in his life. It is frustrating to share Christ with family and friends and to feel as if you are “hitting a brick wall.” You share, talk, and plead with them to receive Christ, yet it seems they just can’t hear what you are saying. Even though they may acknowledge they are sinners, they may not seem to be too deeply disturbed by the implications of this fact. They just press on as though they were numb to or ignorant of the spiritual deadness in their lives. But the Bible clearly teaches that a lost person is “dead in trespasses and sins” (Ephesians 2:1). Don’t forget that dead people don’t feel anything. Spiritually dead people especially don’t feel the conviction of sin. It requires a special, supernatural work of the Holy Spirit to rouse the human consciousness to realize its sinful condition. How can you make a dead man see? How can you cause a dead man to feel? How can you convince a dead man that he needs to change? Thank God for the convicting work of the Holy Spirit! Only through the convicting power of God’s Spirit can a spiritually dead man be awakened and beckoned to Christ. Friend, it was the Holy Spirit’s call that touched your soul, awakened you to your sinfulness, and beckoned you to Christ. Once you were brought to this place of undeniable conviction and you recognized that you were a sinner, the Spirit invited you to receive Jesus as your Savior and Lord. At that divine moment, your soul heard the Holy Spirit say, “Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light” (Ephesians 5:14). And in that next moment, you were born again! What a miracle it was when God raised our spirits from spiritual death to spiritual life. In fact, there is no greater miracle! The convicting work of the Holy Spirit is part of the foundational work that He does in our lives, but it’s certainly not the last! Tomorrow we’ll look at His work to “convince” us of our God-given righteousness. Don’t miss it!

Long time ago my former pastor put it this way. Rap is just poetry so Christian rap is just Christian poetry. It’s so simple actually it’s a demonic religious spirit that says Christian rap is bad. Hip hop is bad. Christian rap is not bad. But the only thing I have found is a lot of Christian rap is watered down/lukewarm 😭. Another thing is don’t take a beat used on a worldly song and then use it for a Christian song because then it’s just defiled.

At that time I enjoyed playing and creating punk music, most of them hardcore punk, because of the social lyrics and because I was rebellious too. And I said yes and a month later I started hearing voices and I believe my family including my neices say what the voices are saying. When I first heard supposed christian rap I was like alright..it was after awhile of listening to it…like a drug you always want a harder drug that’s how I relate this supposed christian rap..it lead me back to rap music I was trying to get away from. I am absolutely blown away by how fast God speaks. For a while now , God has shown me that my voice goes really well with type beats. I've wrote countless of lyrics to many type beat songs with some rap lyrics but I've always thought it's not what God wants because the beat sounds worldy. Earlier I was singing praises to God on a dancehall beat and told God to confirm if this is what he wants me to do. I also told my husband that I feel like I shouldn't and that I should be doing more important things like evangelising and his words were that God can do that through the music. So I left it in Gods hands and asked him to confirm to me. Literally an hour or so later I clicked on this video!!! Wow thank you Jesus! I can't wait to start releasing my music. Even while you mentioned that you're prophesying , as you said it I said it like a second earlier I was like " he's prophesying righ... and then you said " im prophesying right now" I was so blown away. I feel it's a big supplement and help in beginning walk, but prayer reading the word, fasting congregating is #1 key and fundamental not just being fed through the music. I came from listening to hardcore rap and found it very hard to stop and knew what it was doing to me spiritually But when I finally came to Christain rap I was able to give it up fully. I thought it was bad but it has been many of times that I received a revelation of the word or deeply began to cry off of Christain rap because I was moved by the spirit of God, While listening im rooting for the Holy spirit and thanking God, pray for the people I listen to that they life shows what they are putting in their music. The bible says touch not thine anointed and do my prophets no harm. We gotta stop tryna stay sooo religious and began to know the Holy Spirit, which transforms us when we are really seeking Jesus. Last thing use descernment that God gives his people so we wont be dismayed. I wouldnt listen to Lil wayne on a so called Christain rap song because we know better a little leaven leavens the whole lump. Whats not for you specifically doesnt have to be judged against others and how they experience Gods power. I think we can all agree that some beats/chords/sounds can invoke certain emotions/feelings. Some chords are meant to sound sorrowful, some are meant to sound happy. That’s just the way music works. That being said, SOME RAP BEATS MAKE PPL WaNNA GET DOWN N DIRTY. Some sounds are just more sensual. The thing is you have to use discernment on what beats you use and make sure you’re operating in the Holy Spirit. Or just make your own beats. But I do think some things may just be demonic like possibly screamo music where the goal is to sound like a demon or like swine. That’s debatable. I don’t ever really find myself WORSHIPING to rap but every now and then I’ll play Kieran or something fire but it’s definitely different than Mercy Culture Worship. This is precisely what a sinner feels when the Holy Spirit convicts him of sin. It is amazing how long a sinner can live without conviction or godly sorrow for his behavior - how long he can be nearly numb to any sense of wrongness regarding his sinful actions. The Bible says that sin has made unbelievers to be hardhearted, spiritually blind, and past feeling (see Ephesians 4:18,19). But those factors change instantly when the Holy Spirit touches the human soul and exposes its sinful condition. Exposed, naked, confronted - that is exactly what a sinner feels when the Holy Spirit wakes him up to his true spiritual condition.
It is the work of the Holy Spirit to convict sinners of their lost condition. The whole world stands guilty before God (see Romans 3:19), but the lost don’t realize they are guilty until that moment when the Holy Spirit reveals it to them.
Jesus stated, “No man can come unto me, except the Father…draw him” (John 6:44). This drawing of a person’s heart to Jesus is done through the work of the Holy Spirit. Jesus reminded us of this when He said, “And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin” (John 16:8). Without the work of the Holy Spirit to expose our sinful condition, we would still remain in darkness today, eternally lost and without God.
It is amazing to me that a person can be in sin, and even understand that he is in sin, yet nonetheless fail to grasp the real eternal consequences of what that means. He can even be in a church service where he hears about sin and acknowledges that the sermon is true and that he’s a sinner - yet leave that service and continue living the same lifestyle he did before he got there.
But something happens when the Holy Spirit begins to work in that person’s soul. He lovingly cross-examines that person, until finally He brings him to a place of confrontation. It is at this point that invisible scales fall from the person’s eyes, and he truly sees for the first time that he is in sin. This is something that can only be revealed by the Holy Spirit. When He convicts of sin, the sinner absolutely knows that he is a sinner.
Once the Holy Spirit has lovingly brought that person to the place where he finally sees it for himself, the person has a choice: Will he stay in sin, or will he repent and turn toward God? Helping that person reach this point of decision that has such eternal consequences is the purpose of the Holy Spirit’s convicting ministry in his life.
It is frustrating to share Christ with family and friends and to feel as if you are “hitting a brick wall.” You share, talk, and plead with them to receive Christ, yet it seems they just can’t hear what you are saying. Even though they may acknowledge they are sinners, they may not seem to be too deeply disturbed by the implications of this fact. They just press on as though they were numb to or ignorant of the spiritual deadness in their lives.
But the Bible clearly teaches that a lost person is “dead in trespasses and sins” (Ephesians 2:1). Don’t forget that dead people don’t feel anything. Spiritually dead people especially don’t feel the conviction of sin. It requires a special, supernatural work of the Holy Spirit to rouse the human consciousness to realize its sinful condition.
How can you make a dead man see? How can you cause a dead man to feel? How can you convince a dead man that he needs to change? Thank God for the convicting work of the Holy Spirit! Only through the convicting power of God’s Spirit can a spiritually dead man be awakened and beckoned to Christ.
Friend, it was the Holy Spirit’s call that touched your soul, awakened you to your sinfulness, and beckoned you to Christ. Once you were brought to this place of undeniable conviction and you recognized that you were a sinner, the Spirit invited you to receive Jesus as your Savior and Lord. At that divine moment, your soul heard the Holy Spirit say, “Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light” (Ephesians 5:14). And in that next moment, you were born again!
What a miracle it was when God raised our spirits from spiritual death to spiritual life. In fact, there is no greater miracle! The convicting work of the Holy Spirit is part of the foundational work that He does in our lives, but it’s certainly not the last! Tomorrow we’ll look at His work to “convince” us of our God-given righteousness. Don’t miss it!

Long time ago my former pastor put it this way. Rap is just poetry so Christian rap is just Christian poetry. It’s so simple actually it’s a demonic religious spirit that says Christian rap is bad. Hip hop is bad. Christian rap is not bad. But the only thing I have found is a lot of Christian rap is watered down/lukewarm 😭. Another thing is don’t take a beat used on a worldly song and then use it for a Christian song because then it’s just defiled.

At that time I enjoyed playing and creating punk music, most of them hardcore punk, because of the social lyrics and because I was rebellious too. So my rebellious energy was very in tune with that kind of vibe and melodies.

Hey Richard, so I'm a young man and I really want to pursue a career in Christian rap, I think it is the path God wants for me cause I've felt closest to God whenever I sing or rap about him, the first time I truly felt his presence was while I was singing to him one night at a youth praise meeting, so is there advice you can give me to actually go about doing this cause I dont know the first thing abt a music career 🤷🏽

My name is Aaron Lologo bro and this lady asked if she can pray with my parents at their home cause I wasn't in the right state of mind. And I said yes and a month later I started hearing voices and I believe my family including my neices say what the voices are saying. I believe she is a witch and the voices say they have control of me and my family souls when we die. It's all because I gave the Mexican lady permission to go see my parents to pray for me when I was in the hospital. But I asked my mom if she came by the house. She never seen the lady I was talking about. We're a Christian family and we need help defeating these voices who say they have our soul.

Nah man I’m from the hood and grew up around rap music. When I first heard supposed christian rap I was like alright..it was after awhile of listening to it…like a drug you always want a harder drug that’s how I relate this supposed christian rap..it lead me back to rap music I was trying to get away from. And here is what makes that more interesting, we all know by now the music industry is ran by the elite “masons” and their ritualistic, cultic ways, and the fact that the lyrics appear to be magic spells. It is no wonder why I was lead back. But praise God He brought me back. I wouldn’t dare tell people it will lead you to Christ and keep you there because that would be a lie. Lecrae was one of the first I heard and I can’t even stand to listen to it anymore especially knowing he doesn’t associate his work as Christian rap anyway.

Thank you for stating this. I used to do music for the world. Hip-hop and reggaeton and other genres, and now my music is being made to glorify God. Similar beats but different content. My wife sings to worship and prasie God. She doesn't understand it could be done for the Jesus in the same way. Of course there's a thin line. Some CHH artist you could tell glorify them selves and not God
