Did you see a glass of champaigne on the piano. Freddie always drank it. also when the light went off,, Brian said a moth visited the glass and he felt something. Great tribute and great song Brian. Worthy of Freddie. love you all.
Chills and Tears. I listen to this at least once a week. This song is special. This is a group of guys that stuck with Freddie until the end and believe me, that is not an easy thing to do. They were a family, and this song shows that. It is sad but it is also beautifully done and relevant, it shows how talented they all were. They talk today about still missing Freddie and thinking of him every day. Hold tight to those you love. Celebrate them when they are no longer with us. They were hurting here but it is also a tribute to Freddie and beautifully done. We all miss him. 💗
They were so close, they were really like brothers. They were together since they were all college students in London & formed Queen in 1970. Freddie died in 1991 at age 45. The other guys took his loss very hard.
I'm Going Slightly Mad is a song Freddie wrote with his good friend Peter Straker describing the hallucinations he was havig with his medications for AIDS. He does it with humor, (he ttthinks he is a banana tree, etc), but underneath it is inherently real and a sad commentary of what he was deling with daily. It is one of his final videos and he is heavily made up, but still handsome and his voice is beautiful. There is a good video on the making of this video, and you can see Freddie directing the others in how he wanted it done.
I've loved Queen for 50 years. I know we all still mourn Freddie leaving this Earth but it's also important that we celebrate his life! Freddie, my angel. 😘😇 Your spirit soars! See you on the other side, darling.
Yes QUEEN FRIDAY'S. This song makes my cry for FREDDIE. I miss him so. Thank you for doing QUEEN videos. GOD BLESS FREDDIE MERCURY. The World misses him so. Here is a glass of champagne for you FREDDIE. Good reaction. Take care my friends. QUEEN BEE.
wow, sweet reaction, my eyes teary😅.. would you might as well react to 'I Want it all' back in 1989 ... you can still see Freddie's great energy even if he's getting 'sicker' that they didn't do concerts anymore🤗
Queen’s Tribute to Freddie!! 😭 You can see that Roger & Brian have beautiful voices. Freddie is the artist of the Angel in the beginning of the video. It was a true love affair with the members of Queen. Freddie’s champagne glass at end.
2:28 yes, this song is written by Brian in 1999. Also a last song with John Deacon (bassist), as you probably know Freddie passd out in 1991. I personaly think this is one of the best songs ever written by Queen
Mother love was the very last recorded vocals of Freddie. In May 1991. He couldn't finish the song so Brian did the last verse a few years later. Freddie died 6 months later in November 1991. If you react to it...choose the lyrics version not the official video as it's off putting to the song.
Brian wrote this song and passed it on to Roger. He put it away (I believe without hearing it) because Freddie's death was still so hard on them. In 1997 after the death of Princess Diana and Versace, Brian said Now was the time to record the song for Freddie and them. The bananas clip is from the song "I'm going slightly mad"
Omg this is so sad 😢 I miss Freddie so incredible much. And I think of how much the guys have greeving, and still does. I think did came out in -92 or -95. John stop playing after the sekend tribut-concert in -97. He said after the consert, « I can not do this any longer, without Freddie « 😢 and he have never did. I cry everytime I hear this song, it the most tuchiee song I now, I loved the original Queen, and I love Freddie forever and after ♥️♾
This song was recorded and videoed in 1997, *after* the second tribute (Bejart Ballet for Life)... this video is the very last time John Deacon performed as part of Queen.
@@imweakfordeaky yeah he couldent play now more withouth Freddie, omg Johns life falling apart all around him when Freddie died, I feel so sorry for him 😭♥️
Nice reaction. Freddie wrote I’m Going Slightly Mad (Banana scene) about how the AIDS medication was affecting him, funny video, though he was quite sick at the time, brave man, worth a watch.
I cried at the first chord.. oml.. i cant ever get through the song without sobbing. the banana part is from the music vid, "I'm Going Slightly Mad" and freddie has bananas on his head because one of the lyrics says, "I think im a banana tree.." so cuute!
Brian wrote this. He sent it to Roger who stuck it in a drawer for a year. When he listened he called Brian and said we gotta do this. 1997 last time with Deacy. You skipped the end with the champagne glass on the piano for Freddie and someone saying Brian relax.
This song is so sad I’ve listened to it many times and I cry every time and Brian’s voice is so beautiful Brian wrote it for Freddie and this was the last time John worked with Queen he was so sad about Freddie leaving us he just couldn’t go on any more without him so he told Brian and Roger he was leaving the band and they understood so now there’s just Brian and Roger so sad Love 💕 from Denise in Yorkshire England 🏴🏴🏴🥲💔👍XX
The video with Freddie with the bananas on his head is from the video for the song I'm Going Slightly Mad. Beautiful song penned about Freddie when he was becoming very ill.
That is definitely the first time that I heard that song and watched the video , it was definitely a great song and to tribute that to Freddie was fantastic. And that is definitely a true statement that the good die young. I can say that about my father and my nephew ! Thank you for the review, it was great !
THIS SONG WAS A TRIBUTE TO FREDDIE FROM THE BAND -ID I AM CORRECT, IT WAS MADE 2 OR 3 YEARS AFTER HIS DEATH. THE GROUP ALSO MADE A TRIBUTE WITH ARTISTS SINGING QUEEN SONGS
They were a real family for decades. They were all in shock after Freddie's death. John left, Brian needed psychiatric help, Roger went out. However, Roger was able to hold a Freddie tribute concert at Wembley Stadium for nearly 3 hours. It is considered one of the greatest tributes ever.
Brian wrote this. He wrote a couple of other great songs as well. Try the live 1981 version of Save Me, starting with Brian on piano with his guitar in his lap. Also listen to Brian's solo version of Too Much Love Will Kill You it's even better than the Queen version.
You actually stopped the video before it had fully finished. Dr Brian May wrote the song and put it away,it started life as a song about and for Freddie but it was actually recorded in 1997 which was the last time you see John Deacon in public, but the song actually for two others who died young in 1997 which was Diana Princess of Wales and the designer shot outside of his flat in the States Gianni Versace
@@thisisdnareacts5237 no problem I remember when the group started, and that's also not Live Aid it's just one of Queen many concerts,I think the biggest one's were in Rio playing too around 250,000 per show
The video with Freddie with bananas on his head is for the Queen music video I'm going slightly mad from the Innuendo album ❤️ ruclips.net/video/Od6hY_50Dh0/видео.html

I totally agree "I'll like to go back one time on a roller coaster ride...ain't that a shame" always gets me as a 40 year old.
