This was the best CAL ever. I just finished my two deer and they’re so cute. Just love them. Attaching the legs was the most challenging part. But, I did get them assembled, legs firmly stuffed and they stand very nicely. Now, on to the ornaments to get ready for Christmas. Valerie, I hope you will consider releasing the next batch of ornament patterns early so as to have time to make them in ample time before the holidays. I’m a little slow at this. Wish I could crochet like you. I watch your videos and wish I could do them as fast. Thank you. I really enjoyed this.
I am so excited!! I have two deer waiting for legs, one buck and one doe. Thank you doing this tutorial!! I can follow a pattern but I'm in Missouri it's the Show Me state so I need the visuals!! 🥰😘❤
Hi, Valerie. I have a doubt. You said in the hind leg rows 1-9 are the same as the front leg. But row 9 on the front leg ends with 12 stitches, and row 9 on the hind leg ends with 9. Does the front leg have 13 rows, instead of 12?
Quick update! On the hind legs rows 1-8 are the same as the front legs, with row 9 being single crochet 9. Sorry for that bit of confusion!
Thank you! And thanks for the pattern too! I’ve been searching for a deer for a long time, yours is the cutest!
Hahaha the amount of times I have redone the hind legs trying to figure out what in thr world I did wrong!
Oh my gosh I can’t believe we are finished! My deer looks absolutely adorable, thanks to your amazing tutorial! Thank you so much! 🥰

I was wondering if you have suggestions on how to get the deer to stand up because I did put yarn scraps but it does not want to stand up
Thank you!!!!!
