Hi. Twice na akong gumawa. Ok sa una tapos nagtubig sya. Sinunod ko naman ang recipe mo. Please let me know kusaan ako nagkamali. Pinalamig ko ng husto at dry a little bit. Wala basa sya after ma coat.

No, they are supposed to be in the middle. More on the soft side but not mushy but not also hard like peanuts. It means you need more time cooking it.

@@babssmall266 It could be the cooking in syrup. If you see that most of them are still white, it means they are still hard. The more transparent, the softer they are but you don't want them to be too soft either or else they will become mushy.

icing sugar is powdered sugar. nabibili yan na ready na or you can make your own by using a blender. Blend mo ang white sugar until maging pulbos sya.

Hello po ano pong reason bakit kailangan i babad ng 10 mins sa syrup after ng 1.5hrs cooking sa syrup?

Make sure na nag-dry na ang sugar syrup ng beans bago mo lagyan ng powdered sugar and lagyan mo lang muna ng powdered sugar is yung kakainin nyo. It could be the brand ng powdered sugar din.

I tried this recipe but the icing sugar keeps on melting...
If there''s so much humidity and will not be consumed they can easily melt. Also make sure to use powdered sugar that has added cornstarch to it. Or only coat the ones you will consume.
I can't find a powdered sugar that has cornstarch added, can I just mix it then myself? What is the ratio

baka masyadong mainit dyan sa area mo. did you cover it? Let air dry hanggang sa madry ang powdered sugar. If not, pwede mo double coat.
