@@beardsloan I would mostly agree. I liked a couple songs here and there but I loved the whole Redeemer album front to back. Never liked an album that much by them again.
Nick Dowe I like how TDEP is more chaotic and unorganized and their live shows are so insane they pose a medical threat. Also like you said they're more progressive which clicks with me.
Fair enough, both great bands. In my top 5. The Chariot called it quits last year so that chapter is closed. Hope to go to many more Dillinger shows. \m/
I used to make my ex listen to this song in the car everyday. Then she left me. Then I still listen to it in the car everyday. Lol much rather keep the song anyways
The Chariot is one of the best bands around. They use such raw emotion and their music is so perfectly choreographed it seems anarchistic. My favorite band ever!
Saw these guys in Memphis. Never heard of them before then, but they were really awesome. One of the damn guitarists climbed the lights and wrapped his guitar strap still attached to the guitar around it after they were done. Simply awesome.
I love this song so much. It's ridiculous. The raw power and emotion. I love jamming and just crashing around playing this stuff. It is the epitome of a good time.
this is artistically chaotic creepy and cute. Two thing's for sure - one of the best music video i've ever seen and this really really a good dang great band! I just fell in love with you!
Love this video. It reminds me of Rampage. These guys have one of the best live performances I've seen. Breaking shit, playing archaic music between songs, and hanging upside down from supports on the ceiling.
It's so disappointing that I just found this band today and they've split. They're everything I've been looking for, an insane amount of energy trapped in a bottle, an intense sound. Phenomenal stuff.
Only got to see them live once in London . Was so chaotic in the. It's beautiful way . Met them after and they were cool as hell . Long live the chariot
I saw '68 and ETID this past summer and Josh came out and did backing vocals on the last song of ETID's set. The entire place was one giant moshpit. It was epic!
I remember seeing them in our hometown at the masquerade in atlanta. I got to drum the song and they were throwing blow up t rexs out in the audience at the end. Best show ever.
This is the first music video I've actually sat down and watched in full. I don't have the attention span to actually sit through a music video, but I loved this. Fuck yea.
Saw them for the first time in 2010! They played this shit live and the bassist went fucking insane. Ridglea Theater Ft. Worth, TX. ...So much good time.
@ippos_khloros oh you know, a PA system, several mic stands, and a while pack of those round wound cable velcro strips. Shot was cash, the real treat was that it was all hand made by them, the love that was put into to sent me over the moon. I still have it all 10 years later! Edit: 10 years later I still typo my shit lol
They're coming to my town in October :) It'll be the third time I've seen 'em. This music video is great, but there's nothing like actually being there.
I carried the bassist around on my shoulders during their show in Pittsburgh while he played. Dude stunk like hell. GREAT show.
Phenomenal show!!!! 💯🤘🏻
I still can't believe this band isn't around to make records. What a masterpiece band. I liked every song. They had such a cool style. Fan for life.
At least we still have zao and every time I die
Not to mention The Chariot, and Norma Jean first two albums! Josh Scogin is a godsend.
@Jordan Leach what a sick and sad tragedy current state Norma Jean is in. Ugh.
@@beardsloan I would mostly agree. I liked a couple songs here and there but I loved the whole Redeemer album front to back. Never liked an album that much by them again.
@beardsloan meh. I love their new stuff personally and what josh did on the first album. I'd definitely recommend giving their new stuff another try.
Summer 2022 and this still goes hard in the paint. Praise
2023
The opening lyrics of the verse are fucking awesome; "absent from wealthy minds, far from all concerned" sums it up perfectly. Josh is a legend.
Greatest band ever... Long Live
The Dillinger escape plan is better
That's a tough call man.. both have a killer live show, Dillinger is the more progressive, but for me the Chariot is my shit.
Nick Dowe I like how TDEP is more chaotic and unorganized and their live shows are so insane they pose a medical threat. Also like you said they're more progressive which clicks with me.

Nick Dowe you should check Daughters and Botch. Great mathcore bands
Bands like the Chariot and Norma Jean, Every Time I Die, all those ugly-chord bands... Just epic
Johnny Booth is a newer group that's got this vibe and I fuck with it HARD
Times long ago.
Dissonance is what you call "ugly chords".
Dissonant and diminished doesn't = ugly lol 🤣 what a fackin goofball
Old men keep dreaming of battles for young men to fight!!!
The fucking passion with which he screams is 100% unmatched. Josh is the best!

Haha. I scared off a first date with a song from my boys here. She would have been a horrible wife. Still love The Chariot.
*you thought because You liked it a hypnotized women would like it too* ?
@@twistedkyote4107 how do you mean hypnotized? Lol i just love this type of music so if I'm driving it's captains pick of music!

One of the best songs from one of the best albums of last year. These guys are relentless.

Without a doubt, one of the best bands I've seen live.
The level of energy and emotion in their live shows can't be topped.
Guess this should have more meaning today than it did back then.......
Saw The Chariot live last night. My brain is still trying to process what my eyes saw on the stage! This band is beyond epic!
by far the most intense live show ive ever seen. Out of all the bands in the "scene" the chariot will probably be the one i tell my children about
When I saw them live Wolfe staged dived and hit me square in the head with his bass guitar. probably the best/worst show of my younger years
Love this video. It reminds me of Rampage. These guys have one of the best live performances I've seen. Breaking shit, playing archaic music between songs, and hanging upside down from supports on the ceiling.
saw them once at the masquerade in the heaven venue. thought the floor would break, and also thought I was gonna die. 10/10
