Yess! I'm so glad I found this! I had stumbled upon one of these 80s videos years ago and thought they were extremely well made but couldn't remember the name to find them again.
GOOD JOB PLANET TOLUCA THESE IS THE BEST VIDEOS I CAN SAY WE HAVE NOW HERE FOR MY STUDENTS I USE THESE BOOKS SINCE 1992 AND I HAVE GOOD RESULT WITH THEM THANKS PLANET TOLUCA NOW MY STUDENTS CAN LEARN MORE.

Very good video! I was just wondering, why in the segment with calling the plumber the guy uses "going to" instead "will"? Will is used for spontaneous decisions and for sure the man made one during the video. He obviously hadn't intended or planned to call before he started fixing the sink.
I've never met such clear explanation about 'gonna' before.Thank you very much. Cases from real life! You have big knowledge and you love teaching as well. People in your video are very, very pleasant. Are they professional actors? Each episode is like a theatre.Sorry for poor English.
going to = gonna In everyday spoken English it's common to hear it that way. (gonna) So remember you can say it both ways En Inglés hablado es común escuchar "gonna" que es lo mismo que going to de esta forma te acostumbras a escucharlo y decirlo de ambas formas. Esperamos que haya sido de utilidad
It's not good to be teaching English ,and have all the actors in the vid say 'gonna'. Yes, it's sometimes spoken like that, but if you['re going to be doing an ESL learning vid, you should get actors that can pronounce it correctly
This video series belong to the Side by Side books by Pearson Education. But I regret not being able to tell you the actors' names because we don't know!
we are going to clean a house. iam going a clean a living room and se is going clean a baseman the children are going to clean the areck. Iam going to Library, iam goint to go to cafe with some friends
Below the video, it reads: ... More. Click on that and then on Transcription. You will get a rough transcription, with some minor mistakes here and there, for example, "theater" instead of "Theodore". Hope this helps. By the way, is Spanish your native language?
We don't have it available with subtitles. But what you can do, is choose at the bottom of the video the icon "transcript": About Share Add to Transcript Statistics Then choose Spanish. Though we don't reccommend it because it has many mistakes.
It's important to try to speak at a normal pace. We know that sometimes it's hard to understand, but it might be helpful if you read the captions in the " transcript" icon, but they're not completely accurate since the translation is automatic from google translate.
Me ha ndejado estas dos preguntas por favor ayuda es sobre este video : 1) When do you use the form “going to”? (4 POINTS) 2) Write five questions and answers with going to according to the video: 7 POINTS
@@adiwiweka3047 Both are grammatically correct. Remember: when you use the future with "be going to", if the main verb is go, you can omit it. That's why "I'm going to the library" and "I'm going to go to the library" are correct
No good vid,if for esl purposes. They're teaching 'going to',and everyone is pronouncing the slang 'gunna', 'I'm gunna work tomorrow' . They it's accepted as an accent, but bad if you're teaching English

HOW ABOUT VIDEOS BOOK 3 AND 4 ?
Christopher Edoh Zinsu We're sorry Chris there are no videos for levels 3 &4
with the verb "go" they should use "going to go"...otherwise its present progressive for the future...
