This video is amazing and I briefly know what does Computer Science at Imperial look like. Thanks for sharing! I am also a Computer Science student studying International A Level and I will apply to universities soon. So, this video allows me to have a preview of the courses.
Wonderful video and enjoyed your journey in your studies. Please share the courses you were offered and the ones you chose in your fourth year. All the best for future endeavours 👍
You had your placement (internship) in the Leadenhall Building! I worked there for a bit at Landing 42 in 2019 (as a waiter not a software engineer lol). Currently coming to the end of my first year in CS at Portsmouth Uni. Your course structure is so different to ours, it's interesting to see. We have 3 years in total but you can take an optional paid placement year after your 2nd year which is what Im planning to hopefully do (so 4 years if you do placement). In our first year we do 5 compulsory modules throughout the year, in the 2nd year we do 1 optional module that we chose along with 5 other compulsory ones and those are split up between the first and second terms. In 3rd year we pick 2 optional modules and have I think 3 compulsory.
If you didn't do anything computer related before uni, what did you do for your personal statement? Everyone says you have to show passion, so did you do a couple of projects?
Excellent Video! I thought the computer science course at Imperial is a 3 year program, so how come you are doing 4 years? Integrated Master’s Programme?
I know this man, he was my neighbor, he was my friend in elementary school. He was a very talented man. We lived together in harmony. Then everything changed when the fire nation attacked. Only the avatar, master of four elements, could stop them. But when the world needed him the most, he vanished.
Hey, I should (hopefully) be at imperial for computing at the end of this year. Im thinking of getting an old surface pro for notes while I’m at uni, and then a decently powerful pc for working at home. Using software called Parsec I would tunnel into my pc if I needed any heavy lifting done. Is that a good idea? Or can I get by using just a laptop?
Good for you bro! I wish you all the best this year !
The Mac Miller song bgm really is the cherry on top for this content. So good bro. Keep it up!

Bro can we get more day in the life of a comp sci student :)
Coming soon
Do you need to have any prior programming experience before joining imperial or will they teach us from the basics?
NICEEEE
Cool video! Adds variety to your channel :) What are you planning on doing once you graduate in July?
Thank you
🙌
Can I still get into computer science at a top uni without physics a level? I am doing Maths, Computer Science and Business in Sixth Form.
Hi Alex, is there any chance you could make a video about your personal statement?
If you didn't do anything computer related before uni, what did you do for your personal statement? Everyone says you have to show passion, so did you do a couple of projects?

Don't seem that hard CS degree. Looks more industry oriented than science oriented program.
You are freshman-year student or what? Btw thank you for the video
final year uni
yup final year which is 4th year
is there anything I could do or learn before a CS degree ? (currently doing my as maths, further and physics)
Share with me some of your projects
are u a window user? or a mac use?
what is better for programming/university mac os or windows?
imo best is linux then mac
I am your biggest fan
Can you solve a leetcode hard ?
I write the leetcode hards 😎
Just what I needed bro, thanks
Btw how different is the content between JMC and the Computing courses at imperial?
JMC's can choose between maths and computing modules, but have limited choices. I think JMC has a higher work load than computing students
Very informative video love from India it is my dream of going to Imperial do you think I can make it if I try my very hardest?
Same! We can make it bro!
if u can afford it then u certainly can
Thank you India! Ofc I see a bright future ahead of you!

You can get by with just a laptop definitely no need for a powerful PC for the work :)
You can use Imperials HPC (aka the supercomputer) for the heavy lifting
Are you working now?
Still a student till the end of this year
@@AlexLiu1 Good luck brother, wish u the best 🙏🏻
