yeah it was a bummer, gonna drag the thing back to the shop in the spring, there's a chance its the timing chain. So I'll check that, and if its not the problem I'll yank the engine and start the rebuild process
I think I did test it with the multimeter but yeah definitely a good thought. Kinda got tired of throwing money at it haha. I’ll bring it back to the shop this summer and try to get it going. I’m kinda thinking the timing chain jumped a tooth
That ending was tough

Started a head gasket on my own with no knowledge prior and this has saved my life, thanks bro!
Right on, did you get it running?
Video helped me a lot! Mines a 94 and the same color! I appreciate your video!
Right on! I hope to bring this Jeep back on the channel next fall, pretty sure the rings are toast so will be doing a rebuild
man that was a day of pain!
Hey man kind of late to this video if I was you I would try the crankshaft position sensor! Just a thought but could work!

Your problem could be the oil type. Xjs run on 5w-30 or 10w-30
if they ever have to remove that valve cover there in for some fun!
Yeah that’s gonna be me, think I’m gonna build it for the girls to wheel
Bummer. Still a informative video, keep it up!
Yeah guess I’m rebuilding a 4.0 at some point!
