This was so helpful! I kept having to unravel my soap saver because no matter what the seam kept going sideways! And I had been following the video pattern exactly! Thank you!!!
After all these years, my rows are finally straight! I love this technique. So simple and easy. My fingerless gloves look so much better! Perfect not wonky! Haha Thank you so much!
Yes I was wondering why my slip-stitch would go diagonal even when following tutorials and theirs wouldn’t! I wasn’t sure what I was doing wrong! Thank you!
Thank you for this!! I was looking for a way to make my sweater arms seam straight and this is the only tutorial that show how’s it supposed to be done ❤
Should have watched this tutorial earlier... Now I'm left with the choice - undo my project, or start having a straight line in the middle of the project? 😭🤣
@@lindamullins9177 i undid my project. I knew id hate the garment if i kept it as it was, so in the long run it would be best to frog everything and start over.
I just watched 5 videos on what to do about this issue and this one is the ONLY one that made sense. THANK YOU!
Yes this was right to the point but I would have liked you to do a couple more rounds!!!! tks for posting

You were using the half double stitch. Is it the same for double crochet?
Hi Wilma,Can this technique be used with any stitch i.e. a double crochet?
Really helpful, thank you!

Ok frogged, time to start over 😒
omg... same. literally half done with a sweater now thinking... hmm might be worth frogging?
Wonderful tutorial
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!
If you use sc for gloves are you doing it the same way as for DC sts thanks a million
I tried following your instructions as exactly as possible when making a sweater vest but for some reason the number of stitches are decreasing :/
Very nice
So helpful ! Thanx
Thank you! I'm trying to get this for a buffalo plaid cup cozy. The switching of colours is making it confusing though
Wow thank you. I was looking for this... Im so happy 😁
Do I repeat...row 1, row 2 and 3 till desired length? I am doing a hdc beanie.
What happens to the seam if you have to decrease or increase during the round? Does it still stay straight?
Thank you so much
Thank you so much!
What do you do when working with increases
Am I doin something wrong because my seam is going left now..😢
Will this work only for hdc or any stitch
I tried this with DC and it also worked! Not sure about SC.
What if I’m working with single crochet?
FINALLY 🥰🥰🥰❤❤❤!!! THIS IS AN AWESOME TIP/TRICK FOR INVISIBLE LINES, WHICH DRIVES ME NUTS 🙄🙄🙄!!! THANK YOU SO VERY VERY MUCH FOR SHARING 🥰🥰🥰❤❤❤!!!
I keep getting a hole where you crochet into the slipped stitch
Unfortunately my seam slants away to the…. Left 🤪🤪

What? That's it? No third round to make sure we get it? OK, I guess.
replaying the video doesn’t exist 😱😱😱😱😱😱
Doesn't work, It's a bit straighter but still crooked in the long run
