Paddled from Holland to Moldova republic and years later walked five months through Ukraine, Moldova and Romania. Romania has lots of nice spots... always wild camping and nice people.
Yes totally still with you - in spite of the pink rucksack ;) As you moved up in to the misty areas it looked so atmospheric. Even with the pine forest you had some cracking views around. This is such a special location. I can see why there were lots of "wows" from your family. Epic views indeed there. That glass of wine is way-too-civilised to go with the mountaintop picnic. The steps will have got your heart rate up a bit. But what a view from the top. A lovely location there James, thanks for sharing. Cheers, Warren :)
This looks amazing, so gonna pause right here, go walk the mutt while it's stopped raining for a brief moment & then when I get back, I'm gonna have it large & put U on the TV tonight...!😄 I'm anticipating amazing views, so probably wouldn't do this video justice by watching it on my phone...!🤔👎 So it's the Big Screen for U tonight dude...!🤣 Best wishes for 24...!👍🙏👊
@@SussexOutdoors It was as a great vid James, stunning views, reminds me of some places that I visited in my younger days, interested to know how U happened on a trip to Romania, did U have a local friend or guide with U, etc... I hope to travel somewhere this year, not sure if I'll ever venture abroad again, but will be in the UK this year & I'd like to think that I will be able to return to Wales...🙏 My dog's 14 now, so can't stomp so far, but she still loves the fresh air & a tent...!😄🐕🐶💕...👊
To be fair, not a lot. Everything I've learned about Romania has come from my wife, or her family... Apologies if I got anything wrong on that video! 🙏💚
@@SussexOutdoors you don't need to apologise.. there was nothing wrong in that video.. on the contrary I see it as a honest apreciation of those beautiful landscapes ... and those aren't the only ones that we have.. it may be one of the reasons why your king decided to purchase proprieties in this country...hopefully we will succed in keeping those areas untaimed ..
I hope so too. I've seen too much forest cut down even in the relatively short time I've been going there... Whole mountainsides of firs... Gone. With any luck I'll be heading over again this year for some proper camping with my brother-in-law, so I'll get to see even more wonderful landscapes of that beautiful country. Mulțumesc 👍🏻🙏
