Hi Hugh. Been watching your channel for yrs now. In fact you are whole reason I bought a transit custom a long while back to convert to a camper. I used the button fixing to attach the units, bed, kitchen etc etc etc to the van. There many types and can also be modified too to allow easy removal/less secure fixture. (they are expensive but being able to go from a fully fledged camper to a totally empty van in less than 20 mins is a great benefit....especially if you have a garage to keep the kitchen units/bed slats and seating unit. 20 mins to make a van back to camper for the weekend happy days. Ive also used them for fixing to make a home entertainment unit. Look great. Great find.
I wish we had known you were at the show we travelled down from Newcastle, it would have been amazing to say hello. The loo looks great, we are going to get the Simploo when we are at that stage in the build so it will be very interesting to watch the video on it. We are at the very beginning of our Fiat Ducato build currently sound deadening at the moment. I am so excited, can't sleep because everything is flying around in my head constantly. I am a bit worried about the electrical to be honest, I am a 64yr old retired nurse and get really enthused about our build, my husband not so much. Hey ho I am going to give it a go, what is the worst that can happen!!. Love your videos Hugh, take care xx
Thanks so much Norma! So awesome to hear your both building your own van, sorry we didn’t get to chat at the show. I will do some filming on the simploo
Wish you’d said beforehand that you were going to the show - I’d have come to find you. Like the look of the shower, especially using it as the walk-through to the cab. It’s exactly what I had in mind although having spent the weekend in a hired campervan, I’m wondering whether a full closet shower would be necessary for us. Hope you had a good time anyway.
Sorry Jane! I am still undecided about whether a van with a full blown shower is the way forward for me but I really need to actually use this one and make up my mind
Not sure about the step specifics as it came on the van already as it was a minibus but it’s really nice to have as this van is very high off the ground
Glad to see at least someone is proud to show the Union Jack... thank you for that... the little green clip thingys are amazing can think of loads of applications thanks for sharing... Thanks Hugh
Shower room tiles remind me of 80s quiz show Blockbusters, can I have a p please Bob? 😁. Looks good though.

Cheers mate, thanks for sharing! They are expensive but if your van is capable of that then they are completely worth it

Them button fix clips could be useful on units if you want to have them removable

Your van is looking super sleek. Love the tile toilet/ shower 🚿👌🏽
Those clips are good especially for removable bits not sure fitting a whole panel but access panels would definitely work.
Love the tiles.
@2.19…. Is that a universal slide out step? That’s looks really amazing. I’d love to know
