8ohm vintage 30s are my favorite personally(16ohm V30s sound wildly different, much more bright and tinny) and because of that, the Mesa OS is my favorite here. By a longshot. The greenbacks sound good too, but they're my 2nd favorite speaker. Totally different mid character, not as in your face but a little rounder and darker sounding in general. I actually really enjoy greenbacks paired with v30s in an x-pattern. But for modern high gain TIGHT rhythm tones, I just think the 8ohm V30s do it the best. The Eminence DV-77 also is another speaker I love for this style of music, great balance and lots of aggression. I used to like T75s more a long time ago, and there's some vintage ones out there that sound better than the newer ones but my problem with them is once you spend a lot of time listening to any other popular celestion whether it be V30s, Greenbacks, Creambacks, even K100s, T75s always sound like the sound is coming from a mile away, it sounds so distant and there's no way that I've found to really dial that out.
16 Ohm Speakers are mostly a bit too sizzely for my taste. Specialy Speakers, who already have a very agressive bite to it, like the V30. More extrem even with the Hesu Demon. I have tested both in 8 and 16 Ohm.
@@leib109 depends on the application and style. But for heavy stuff modern stuff I think Mesa V30 fits most of the time. Bogner somehow has more character though
@@naabedgeaudio4201 later on the production went to China. I don't know where they are made now in 2024. There are also 30 watts with a green ring at the back. They are handwired in the UK
I still think, that the g12t75 deserves more love. It sounds way less aggressive in the mix, which makes it a god choice for music, that is way less guitar driven than normal Heavy Metal.
that marshall cab sounds amazing
Absolutely! Thanks!
Very nice comparison! I see a lot of effort went into this, well done man!
Thanks for the kind words!
I always seem to go back to the Marshall. Tried, and true.
Classic for a reason!

I totally agree! On a few occasions a T75 might work on its own though.
thx for the feedback
The 2x12" has 16 Ohm speakers I guess? Would be interested how the "mesa V30s" sound in that cab. ...great video btw 🤟😎
Yes, it had the 16ohm V30s in it. Doesn't sound bad at all but the Mesa 412 is too hard to beat!

Really nice character on that 1960AX, would work incredibly well for a second / upper guitar layer while a V30 takes care of the deeper notes.
Good ear! I'm always pleasantly suprised about the results I get with this even for more modern tones!
Great video 👌
Thx!
Bogner 👌
I love my Ubercab! I usually prefer the V30 over the 75, but they sound awesome here!
Yeah, mine need a bit more time to break in tbh!
@@naabedgeaudio4201 Which do you prefer?

How old is that 1960ax cab and does it have chinese or uk greenbacks in it? It sounds really awesome!
It is from '03 if I remember correctly. And the greenbacks are always UK-made right?

How the hell did you get the T75s to sound this nice.. Its more like a creamback here while mines like a razor on chalkboard
Haha thank you! Lucky punch on mic placement I think! ;)

V30 uk 8 ohms is the best. Mesa cab is deeper than others.
Mesa always wins
At least if you're not up to experiments and just want a good tone right off the bat :)
Agreed.
