they mention that Titania is a "superpowered influencer" and she was in the courthouse for a traffic violation so she was totally uninvolved with that court case
Was that the reason? They kinda just breezed through it so i didn't catch it. I like the fact she's a super, but lives a normal life so to speak. She's an influencer, which is fitting because the character from the comics was someone plain that wanted to stand out and be unique.
@@zacharybartolo5111 The news reporter mentioned that she was there for a traffic violation in the same sentence they mentioned "superpowered influencer".
This episode did a lot to recontextualise Blonsky and how he was used by the American government He wanted to be a hero, the next Captain American in order to defeat Hulk who on the outside looks like a raging monster that wreaks destruction and havoc. He points out that prior to being pumped full of the serum he was a well respected and decorated SAS officer. It was the serum that made him the uncontrollable Abomination and the government, specifically Thunderbolt Ross who used him like a tool and threw him away for 14 years. It almost makes you sympathise with Emil. And Tim Roth put in a really good performance to sell it. Sadly William Hurt passed away so we'll never see Thunderbolt Ross get his comeuppance but I strongly suspect Abomination will be a part of the Thunderbolts movie and earn his redemption there
Well he did pump in Bruce's blood in his body, willingly. THAT is what made him Abomination. He forced that scientist guy, The Leader, to pump it in him. Sooo yeah
Don't fall for the statements of this man. He didn't want to be a hero, he wanted glory, he was a soldier before he became a mercenary, doing the dirty jobs for the government. The serum only brings what is already there, it didn't make him crazy or delusional, he was already like that. And the fact that we have seen other people with the serum be from decent to absolute heroes, says much about the kind of person he is. Even when compared to the Hulk. Hulk was a literal manifestation of rage (a beast in need of training and control), he on the other hand was completely in control, very sane, and still chose to do what he did.
@@yiledute True but you can actually feel him being sincere there for a minute. Maybe it's not all true but he actually feel that he will be the hero. You can feel him actually being sad there. At least I did.

Tim Roth's great, and I kinda felt myself coming around to him when he explains he was told he'd be the next Captain America, when they gave him that serum to stop what looked like a rampaging Hulk
@@StopReadingMyNameOrElse that wasn't what he was arguing tho? He never said he was forced to become Abomination, he specifically said he chose to go through the whole serum thing. You can't look at that and tell me he didn't lose control lmao.
@@StopReadingMyNameOrElse Once again, he never claimed he was forced to get the treatment, and I never claimed he was forced to get the treatment. The point is that Emil Blonsky wasn't in control during the battle in Harlem. Abomination was. He was told Banner was an evil guy and that all of Hulks actions were because of Banner. So with the information he had, he believed he would be in control as Abomination. This court case was never about whether he was a victim by getting the treatment, it was whether he was a bad person at his core. He wasn't a bad person, Abomination was a bad person, Blonsky just wanted to stop what he thought and was told was a monster terrorizing the US. Blonsky's motivations were good, even if in the end it caused more damage, his intentions going into it was to stop what he thought was a super powered monster that he had already seen normal soldiers were unable to defeat. You are looking at this situation from the movies perspective, of course WE knew Banner was a good guy. But look at this from Blonsky's perspective, all he sees is a monster running around, and he's been told by a high government authority that that monster is a threat to the people. In this show we are shown he's a good guy, he willingly brings himself back into prison after being forced to escape. You are arguing against something no one, not even Emil himself claimed, this was never about him being FORCED to take the serum
@@StopReadingMyNameOrElse okay, if he wanted to get out of jail so badly, why didn't he just, yknow, do it when he was out of jail and literally in a different country where he could have easily lived a life without ever being caught by the american police? Love that Bruce said “Chad/Chet” was the other genius in the family when Jen joked that he wasn’t the only one (implying the other was her). Meeting said cousin really turns that into a serious burn. 😆
If you remember, the post-credit scene of Shang-Chi had Hulk with his damaged arm. So That scene would have had to happen before She-Hulk meaning that the cage fight happened prior as well and the video is just coming out. Hopefully, they go into more in-depth info about it since having it come up right now makes it murky.
I think it’s just that news of Abomination’s parole is starting to come out now that they’ve hired Jen, and someone was like “hey wait I minute, I saw him fighting in that club a few months ago” and sent the video to the press
7:22 man seeing him playing yet again a law person dealing with superheros is so cool, i hope hes a main character, also he's working with a green superhero just like last time lol
Bruce's arm was in a sling (with the destroyed prototype inhibitor) in the Shang-Chi post-credit scene. The actual fight happened a while ago. The footage just surfaced.
We know Shang Chi happened before She Hulk because Bruce still had the inhibitor on during the post credit scene Odds are that someone released the footage now specifically because Blonsky is coming up for parole
I think something important to keep in mind is that Bruce had mountains of anger and stress that he suppressed for years which manifested as the Hulk whereas Jen had her own anger and stress but accepted and controlled it healthily which meant she didn’t struggle the same
Bruce went through horrific trauma in his childhood which he probably repressed just to function in society . The hulk is a manifestation of this . Jen is used to controlling her temper cuz women are not allowed to display anger in our society . And she also appears to have had a fairly “regular” childhood hence no alter ego . I feel the show is making sense on this element . I’m also loving their relationship . They come across as cousins really well . Ruffalo was probably having a lot of fun with this !
I think Aaron was 100% right about Bruce's past and why he was so set on teaching Jenn first before she left and that kinda playing a part in why it was "easier" for Jenn and would explain why he was asking her if she was the only one in her head or if she felt any other hands on the wheel or being jealous that she doesn't have "another guy to wrestle with for 10 years"

I didn't expect to see prometheus in this lol that was cool to see and cool to see Jens family liike Bruce has a pretty big family he never talked to. Can't wait to see when Matt comes in and what his and Jens dynamic will be
VERY interesting Emil Blonsky mentioned having seven “pen pal soulmates” makes you wonder if this is tease for the thunderbolts? Also a Wolverine reference which makes sense that if any other mutant were to be introduced before the X-men it would be Logan. Also Hulk in that ship definitely confirms we are getting a proper WW/planet hulk project. Possibly announced at D23?
This show is great light entertainment. Some YTubers have thrown hate on it. Seriously when light entertainment is being held up to the light to compare to the real world then they are officially crazy. Well done guys for seeing this show for what it is, light entertainment.
I'm not sure if the writers are aiming for it, but the way that Jen was scouted for the Superhuman division echoes how some law firms will pick up female lawyers for the express purpose of handling female clients/etc.
Bruce: “I’m a completely different person. *Literally* “ Jen: *Looks at camera* “Haha” 4 reasons why that’s funny 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 1. Edward Norton acknowledgement 2. Smart Hulk 3. Jen 4th wall breaks to let you know Marvel knows lol (so she does too) And #4. She copied the same laugh her boss did
I didn't get that at all. I grew up with Mark Ruffalo so I completely forgot someone else played Hulk so I thought he meant smart hulk. I didn't get the Norton thing at all
@@fuzzyotterpaws4395 in the beginning of the MCU, there was the second movie, The Incredible Hulk (2008). In it, Bruce was played by Edward Norton, but in Avengers (2012), he was replaced by Mark Ruffalo
Hulk is a tragic story, of a man abused by his Fathers, that gets into an excedent, loses controll and is a danger for everyone around him. She-Hulk is a comedy... This is like Goku vs Superman all over again... both characters life by different rules, because the intention behind those characters are completly different.
Pug seems like a Great Guy, definitely not like a Person who would kidnapp someone to Torture them and make them believe their a Monster. No Way that would happen
I didn't have confidence in this series before, but now seeing it, it makes me a spectacular series. And when She hulk says: The avengers pay perhaps. That came to my mind one thing. Sam Wilson: Not at all. 😭😭
Ironically in the comics they actually were paid. Can't remember if it was in an Avengers or Spiderman comic but She-Hulk and Spidey were discussing rent and wages as she was jogging when she revealed she got paid something like 2000 a month as an Avenger (comic was from 80's so 2000 a month is more like 6000 a month today) which leaves Spidey thinking why in the world he turned down a spot on the Avengers when offered previously.
to add to the timeline clarity, the footage leaked during this episode but all of Shang Chi took place before this series because Bruce's arm was still injured during the post credits sequence.
That's the one of the things we don't think about when watching stuff like this: Depending on what side you're on, you're either the hero of your own story or the villain of someone else's. (And going in you don't know which you're gonna be)
I was so happy they finally referenced eternals! (kamala actually mentioned kingo’s movies in ms marvel as well) and the wolverine reference was definitely a surprise!!
If an explosive device doesn’t detonate as expected, it should be assumed that it can go off unexpectedly. An argument can be made that an unexploded explosive arrow is even more dangerous because the normal functioning has failed, and the reason for that failure is unknown. It should always be treated as dangerous until the explosive device has been rendered inert or stored securely.
Fun fact, in the footage of the fight club, you can actually see Shang-Chi and Katy looking at the fight. Also who do you think would win in an archer fight? Segarra's Prometheus or Renner's Hawkeye Kinda sad that he shows up in Marvel at the time its announced that the Arrowverse's ending
I don’t know if it’s cannon or not in the MCU but it some if not many iterations of the hulk. Banner has had a alter ego or split personality since he was a kid so I think that has a partial impact on why she can control the powers so easily.
These first two episodes has made me wanting more! it is so funny without being on-the-nose funny all the time, and (hopefully) will give a new and interesting perspective on being a Hulk and female in a world which has a Hulk. Also curious to see the development of Blonsky/Abomination story. Also: Hulk leaving for space again, is he going to Fury or even further away (World War Hulk?). And Blonskys 7 pen-pal soulmates seems like it either could be some underlying plan or just a red herring.
Was that Freddie Stroma? because that voice and face melts me. If Jen gets with him... lucky lady. Also, everyone is mistakenly saying: "AH! Hugh Jackman's Wolverine is being referenced and he's coming back!" but they're referencing the MCU Wolverine, who is clearly already going through his origin off-screen, rather than them replaying things in a movie.
Strong Jason Lee vibes in the marvel intro lads. Also ive been watching you guys for 6 yrs now and somehow i still get jumbled on your names so thanks for the name tags lol.
Being a member of the Super Human Law division, and with a name like 'Pug', I wonder if he also is a super-human of some sort? Maybe he actually shapeshifts into a pug?
I dont understand guys...you don´t know why Titania was there? I mean, she is there because she´s fleeing traffic court (the newsshow actually say that in the very beginning), or trying to, and she simply ends up in another courtroom, that just happens to be where She Hulks case is being tried. Pretty funny actually.
It wasn't his lab, but he took a lot of nick-nacks and things from his office (like the how to Hulk book). So looks like he is planning to be gone for a while.
Hey Rick, in the moment where Jennifer was explaining that she deals with anger and fear infinitely more than Bruce - she’s speaking to how most women feel in a daily basis. The point was not measuring which women do it better. The point was to explain that we women so subtly have to deal with shit that men don’t even realize, that it makes sense that a female Hulk would be more versatile in general. That line spoke to me and that was what it was supposed to do.
They do mention why Titania showed up. She is a superhuman/influencer and got a parking ticket and tried to escape to pay it in court and that’s why she appeared through the wall.
I actually really like the show so far. the ONLY scene I didn't like was Jen pandering about having to deal with her anger and fear more than Bruce. Like REALLY?! Bruce father was pyshically abusive to him AND his mother, it's mostly the emotionally catalyst behind WHY he becomes the Hulk, literally rage incarnate. But yeah hold your tongue when someone speaks to you in a way you don't like in the work place is so on par! lmao... please!
At the end of Shang-Chi, Bruce’s arm was still in the cast, so I think the Shang-Chi Abomination footage has simply just now surfaced at an inopportune time.
@@Tao_Tology oh my heavens, he and Gary Oldman are THE BEST in that movie. My heart!!! I didn't bring it up, because it is a movie that takes more patience than most folks have to watch it. Whilst Four Rooms is a rollicking good time.
Hulk's mom was at the family table at the end next to Jenn's mom, & Chet. She is credited with Bruce's mom name. She doesn't say anything, but it's a cool easter egg. And his mom is cute, lol.
Emil Blonsky agreed to take the serum after Ross was talking about it, he saw the power that Bruce/Hulk had and in his mind he needed it to take out the threat. Blonsky also says in The Incredible Hulk that he is a fighter and he loves the fight or thrill of it, so the super serum most likely brung that out more and more cause he did look like he was raged up from it and who knows what other PTSD if he had any. He also made Mr. Blue inject him with Hulk's replicated blood because he wanted that power. When he was rampaging thru Harlem he says he wants a REAL FIGHT. So Im thinking is he really reformed or is he just bullshitting, but he did go back willingly to his cell in Shang Chi and was calm when Wong was talking to him.
First, I'm really enjoying your reactions. But on to my theory... I think what they change into is a reflection of inner self and inner desire. For Bruce, with his abusive childhood, his inner desire was to be big and strong to stop his father and he loses himself because of the psycological trauma and inner anger from years of abuse. Thus he becomes huge with bulging muscles in a blind rage. Jen didn't have that childhood trauma nor a desire to be huge and muscle bound. But, short women typically wish they were taller and Tatiana is around 5' 3" or 4". Women with straight hair get perms or spend a lot of time with a curling iron. The hair thing is worse for curly haired women. They typically keep it shorter really wishing they had straight hair so they could grow it long. So those inner longings are reflected in what they turn into. Jen doesn't have that psycological trauma or inner rage to affect her mind so mentally she remains the same. She gets taller with long straight hair and looks athleticly feminine rather than muscle bound. Inner desire influence but a little exaggerated.

@@knighthawk3749 it'd be hilarious if Hulk shows up and his kid is older than him lmfao, I doubt they'd do it tho, but it's entirely possible
@@LiilYogurt He might be a teenager since they are setting up Young Avengers?
Haha Cousin Larry from Perfect Strangers is her Dad! Finally the Hulk movie gets some recognition. Great that Tim Roth is back and probably be on Thunderbolts team later on. RIP William Hurt. Really are setting up World War Hulk! Man with metal claws? Hello! Feels like a comic!
Ty, I swear I knew that voice, and It was killing me I couldn't figure it out
I didn't expect to see prometheus in this lol that was cool to see and cool to see Jens family liike Bruce has a pretty big family he never talked to. Can't wait to see when Matt comes in and what his and Jens dynamic will be
yea and hes doing the same job, and working with someone who is a green superhero lol
Are they 8?
Josh Segarra as Billy on Sirens was one of the greatest things ever.
No they don't.
They probably are.
Bruce: “I’m a completely different person. *Literally* “
Jen: *Looks at camera* “Haha”
4 reasons why that’s funny 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
1. Edward Norton acknowledgement
2. Smart Hulk
3. Jen 4th wall breaks to let you know Marvel knows lol (so she does too)
And #4.
@@fuzzyotterpaws4395 That's why it's great writing. It totally plays if you don't get the joke.
They said at the beginning of the episode that Titania was in traffic court. She was running away from paying her parking tickets.
I really love the new timestamps and editing, please keep it up
I freaked when I saw Adrian Chase, let's see if he's a murderer like he was in Arrow
Dude he was in the electric company.
Titania is a member of the Frightful Four and she's an enemy of She Hulk in the comics.
LOVE the timestamps! Thank you Blind Wave!
Sending love to all the editors, you're doing an amazing job
loving the new editing style
Hulk is a tragic story, of a man abused by his Fathers, that gets into an excedent, loses controll and is a danger for everyone around him.
She-Hulk is a comedy...
This is like Goku vs Superman all over again... both characters life by different rules, because the intention behind those characters are completly different.
Tbh if this show is a pure comedy, they are really doing a bad job at it
@@mirkecWii i Stil wait for the Parts where i can laugh
I didn't realize this til watching NR break down the episode, but "The Mighty Honk" is the name of the airhorn that Bruce used to wake Jen up
Today on Blind Wave the crew defines nepotism. Love this channel.
So many people need to hear and actually listen to your discussion.
I hadn't realised that Adrian Chase is the same guy Vigilante in Peacemaker.
That's the one of the things we don't think about when watching stuff like this: Depending on what side you're on, you're either the hero of your own story or the villain of someone else's. (And going in you don't know which you're gonna be)
Bravooo for the timestamps 👍 I didn't use to watch'em but like this I can choose what I want
I was so happy they finally referenced eternals! (kamala actually mentioned kingo’s movies in ms marvel as well) and the wolverine reference was definitely a surprise!!
The news reports said Titania was escaping traffic court. She busted through the wrong wall, which is why she looked confused.
I know you are referring to Hawkeye’s arrows, but that’s such a good argument about Gamma-Induced Superhumans.
@@alansandoval1705 true.
@@alansandoval1705 I literally thought this was related to Gamma, but was trying to see in context of arrows!!
😂 "The Incredible Honk" should team up with Howard the Duck!
Fun fact, in the footage of the fight club, you can actually see Shang-Chi and Katy looking at the fight.
Also who do you think would win in an archer fight? Segarra's Prometheus or Renner's Hawkeye
Kinda sad that he shows up in Marvel at the time its announced that the Arrowverse's ending
I loved this edition, props to the editor
Timestaps, names popping up and enhanced editing? WE’re in the future baby!!
I don’t know if it’s cannon or not in the MCU but it some if not many iterations of the hulk. Banner has had a alter ego or split personality since he was a kid so I think that has a partial impact on why she can control the powers so easily.
i think it's because Bruce had already merged his two halves and the blood transferred made her two halves combined from the very beginning
I need fan art of Eric as She Hulk the same way he was Bisky for the HxH reactions.
Thanks for the timestamps, really appreciate it
That poll question is the same for Better Call Saul fans when they saw Tony Dalton show up in Hawkeye.
With the callout to Silence of the Lambs, are there a bunch of Asgardians on Earth trying to make sense of their former king playing a serial killer?
Was that Freddie Stroma? because that voice and face melts me. If Jen gets with him... lucky lady.
Also, everyone is mistakenly saying: "AH! Hugh Jackman's Wolverine is being referenced and he's coming back!" but they're referencing the MCU Wolverine, who is clearly already going through his origin off-screen, rather than them replaying things in a movie.
When Jen is finding a new job browsing her laptop one of the articles says
"A man fights with metal claws in a bar brawl" WOLVERINE!
That one family member with the glasses looks just like John Byrne, he made She-Hulk who she is today.
Strong Jason Lee vibes in the marvel intro lads.
Also ive been watching you guys for 6 yrs now and somehow i still get jumbled on your names so thanks for the name tags lol.
This episode was great! Also, love the Wolverine easter egg that was shown on the laptop! Now this, puts a smile on my face 😌
Being a member of the Super Human Law division, and with a name like 'Pug', I wonder if he also is a super-human of some sort? Maybe he actually shapeshifts into a pug?
I'm pretty sure there is a character called Pug in the comics that's more of a mischief maker but I could be mixing up names.
Pug is more of a friend to She-Hulk who happens to like her, he looks out for her more than the average person
Pug is just a normal guy.
The giant statue of a man in the ocean is the Celestial that got turned to stone in the Eternals movie.
Cool and informative reaction Greetings from Germany
I dont understand guys...you don´t know why Titania was there? I mean, she is there because she´s fleeing traffic court (the newsshow actually say that in the very beginning), or trying to, and she simply ends up in another courtroom, that just happens to be where She Hulks case is being tried. Pretty funny actually.
I like the editing on this video.
It's wild to think that Kamala Khan could have ended up at that prison.
The editing on this want is great🤣🤣
Best part was the Marvel Intro battle at the beginning LOL
I think it’s kinda fun that the Abomination attack on Harlem was a common Easter egg in Daredevil and now Daredevil’s in a show featuring him.
It wasn't his lab, but he took a lot of nick-nacks and things from his office (like the how to Hulk book). So looks like he is planning to be gone for a while.
A 5 gallon water cooler bottle weigh around 43 lbs filled with water. They were all full.
Go back to the scene where she's looking at the the iPad about the news you going to see Wolverine there with the claws Friday in the bar
love the reations keep up the good work
I actually really like the show so far. the ONLY scene I didn't like was Jen pandering about having to deal with her anger and fear more than Bruce. Like REALLY?! Bruce father was pyshically abusive to him AND his mother, it's mostly the emotionally catalyst behind WHY he becomes the Hulk, literally rage incarnate. But yeah hold your tongue when someone speaks to you in a way you don't like in the work place is so on par! lmao... please!
the news report that identified Titania as superhuman influencer also said she went on rampage while in traffic court
Just the intro annoyance is why I love to watch you guys! You guys are the best 😊
At the end of Shang-Chi, Bruce’s arm was still in the cast, so I think the Shang-Chi Abomination footage has simply just now surfaced at an inopportune time.
Have all of you seen Four Rooms with Tim Roth? It is his most epic role ever, and it would be a treat to see you guys react to it!
It's good......but he's better in 'Rosencrantz and Guildestern'
@@Tao_Tology oh my heavens, he and Gary Oldman are THE BEST in that movie. My heart!!! I didn't bring it up, because it is a movie that takes more patience than most folks have to watch it. Whilst Four Rooms is a rollicking good time.
Hulk's mom was at the family table at the end next to Jenn's mom, & Chet. She is credited with Bruce's mom name. She doesn't say anything, but it's a cool easter egg. And his mom is cute, lol.
She-Hulk be like: the legacy of this gamma radiation blood is complicated.
Well that opening is going in a KOB video lol
Holy shit that's Cousin Larry from Perfect Strangers!
They said it in the episode, but Titania was there by accident. She was fleeing traffic court and I guess just ended up in that room by accident.
4:59 the dude from Perfect Strangers is her dad?!?
