Woah. I think that for a high difficulty playthrough this type of build is a must. I mean, even if you put it on 'hard', starting out as an archer is ludicrous. I think a human warrior gets a very good start. Good to see you create such videos! Dragon Age: Origins is the first RPG I've ever played, and I absolutely adore it.
I played this game back in 2011 and loved it to death but never finished it but with the new xbox .out I went back to it and I run all your builds on my characters and it making my run threw even more fun then when I played so many years ago thank you
Thanks for the video! I usually just wing it with my builds, but I’m attempting a higher difficulty now and wanted to check out some other people’s builds. This looks great! Starting a Dwarven noble warrior playthrough.
Good old Dragon Age:Origins! I've always like to think that DA:O have more similarities with, even older and still beloved by me, Neverwinter Nights than Baldur's Gate and with ease it could be some sort of a sequel to Neverwinter Nights 2 if it weren't for completely different lore and world. Great video! Great game (one of the best RPGs). I'm glad people still playing it :)
Bro! Love the vids, you should do a walkthrough on how to best pull aggro in a big party setting. Like multiple mages plus warriors and keeping all your soft companions safe haha
So ima use this for Alistair thanks ima look up a shapeshifter/spirit healer build and just ignore shapeshifter just to find a decent build for morrigan I like her shes my fav I've heard about Wynne but......morrigan can cast spells more frequently so yea....
If that's the thing for you and her to make a baby then yes. She has to be in your party all through out the game must have a romantic relationship and she must have 100% favor I believe that's what's it called and bam near the end she will propose to have a child and no one has to die and it unlocks a secret achievement
I done it by accident years ago and when I told a friend about it he could never get it to trigger and so we looked it and it says all those requirements I mentioned have to be met or it wont trigger at all
Quick question, can you also add with what to start with? This is nice for an endgame character, but what do you prioritize when starting and leveling up?
@@ChoppedCelery As a Templar, there is another massive armor set that is a bit more annoying to get, but the gear is amazing: the Knight Commander's chestpiece with Templar armor to get the set bonus makes you heavily resistant to magic. With that chestpiece, you are well on your way to 100% magic resistance as it gives you 40% on it's own, the armor has some decent physical defense as well. Hope that helps.
I heard the magic stat increases the effectiveness of Holy Smite but others say willpower increases it. Templar spec does gives +2 but do you know for sure?
@@ChoppedCelery oh okay it's my first playthrough and I stumbled upon your video and immediately decided this is the build I want but thanks for the amazing content and tips now I'm ready to go
Man, it's so nice to see a video like this a decade after the game is out. Good to see people still play it.
Just started playing again after a few years break. It never gets old
I just got it and I love it
Still playing it
Not only that, he playing this on the 360. Bring some nostalgia feels!
The problem with tank is that he needs healer so that's 2 out of four team slots occupied for just mobs doing damage

It's nice to see that people are still making dragon age Origin videos

I have done a handful of builds now and Dragon Age Origins hasn't gotten old yet. I'm now trying a Tank Build.
Started playing this game again a couple days ago. Always a fun play through.
Aye
Gonna do this build as a dwarf should be fun
thanks for video bro

You're playing this on console? This is one game where PC is almost a must imo, but you made it work
First time I played it was on console. Definetly better on PC.
Going to make a Templar/Champion/Guardian some day
It's so funny seeing a tiny little elf as a mighty tank

@@ChoppedCelery very much so! Thank you!
I remember a bug with the +healing effects received not actually doing anything. Was that fixed or is there a real benefit to using that bonus?
Hell yea!
How to get the best massive armors for your tank
I'll look out for these, thanks 🙂

@@ChoppedCelery Thx Captain Obvious
Glad to see this was on console, I really just don’t like kb&m for Dragon Age

No idea. I don’t play this game anymore

I think this build is more my speed. Instead of the enchanter knight build!
Just realized this was origins and not Inquisition 😅
i lov dis gam so big
Does race matter here?
It doesn’t really matter in the long run
Just put all your points to strength. Dex is totally useless.
Unfortunately warriors are pathetic in this game. Mages take all the Glory
Dont like how origins made rpg like wow
