My handle does not come off. The screw inside will not turn and now I have stripped the head. I made one sock and then the sentry jammed and will not cycle almost the way around.
I'm completely new to this genre of yarn arts. Clueless. Got my Sentra 22 needle machine yesterday. Last night I made a tiny hat. Thrilled! Today, I'm trying to knit and after 2-3 rows it seems my worked yarn is getting too tight on the needles making gears pop, grind and the handle seems to slip some cogs if I force it just a tiny bit. ...I'm leery of forcing too much because... it's plastic. Is what I'm experiencing because of this issue you're fixing here, or is it User Error/Ignorance?
Hi So mine would do the same thing. I did a lot of research and found pretty much everyone has that same problem the fix is getting a new crank handle on Esty from Gumpyhead - I have a video replacing it I’ll send the link next. But after replacing the handle/gear it works great .
Here is the link to the video I made. I’m not affiliated with grumpy head, but their product worked great ! ruclips.net/video/JytgoY4pxsE/видео.htmlsi=XSwBWe9WcHvbXgQZ
You said spreading silicone with what? Be careful when you speak like that. I’m using caption to watch and try to figure out. Editing the video doesn’t always helpful. Just keep in the mind. I do not use Facebook.
Thank you ❤
Glad it was helpful!

I would contact grumpy head designs on Esty that makes the replacement handle I got in my video they may have some suggestions for you.
How long does it take for grumpy head products to come in?
They sent it priority mail so it came in pretty quickly. But you would want to contact grumpyhead for accurate etas.
I have the same machine and bought the repair kit from GRUMPY HEAD DESIGN. My shims don’t look the same, I can’t figure out where they go.
Ugh
The have a Facebook community you can join and ask questions they are very helpful

I spread the silicone with a Q-tip. But anything would work.
