I have 3 of the ones listed as well as the Michaels brand. Sentro, Miaoke, and Addi and the Michael brand. Michaels brand I had problems from day 1 Sentro and Miaoke I put them as the same quality .Addi is the most expensive at 400 dollars as long as it worked it did a wonderful job I had to buy another one as I couldn't fix mine and couldn't find any place that did. I knit for charity and welcome the speed that I can make hats and scarves. Yarn at a 3 or lightweight 4 works best for me any thicker and its pushing it.
Hi, thanks for watching our video. We will pass this forward to the research team. We will get back to you once we have the product for you. See you at the next one!
But there's knitting and knitting, too tight and the fabric is like cardboard, too loose and it's more netting than knitting. Granted the tension is adjustable but can it knit 22 stitches and 28 rows to make a 4" square in standard double knitting yarn?
@@siskris2 there’s too many factors involved in that like the thickness of yarn you are using. These machines take mostly #4 and #3 weights. You won’t get a tension too tight like cardboard because it will jam up the machine. Netting will be a very thin #3 yarn or less. I believe the needle sizes are around a 5. But you have to experiment with the yarns and tension. You get all different results. Watch other credible videos on using these machines and you will see. This video is awful.
Hi, thanks for watching! We believe that any of these machines is good for making socks, it will only vary on your preference like price, brand and such. See you at the next one!
The top 4 or 5 are exactly the same machine its just been rebranded. Addi is expensivee but the best. I have 4 other machines each one a different size.
@@Mondoshawn the Gold Tip knitting needles are coated metal which makes them not too slick which I prefer as I normally use wooden needles. The best thing about them for me is the 6 inch stems and the very long tapered gold tips. Moreover, the cables swivel and are coated metal like the ChiaoGoo red cables. I don’t know much about flat knitting machines - I just remember that my aunt had one in the early 1960’s and I still own a sweater she made for me ! I am returning the Sentro machine and saving for the Addi.
Yes, considering I got an older model flatbed that was never used for 80 flat, I can’t say I would want the addi. 🤷🏻♀️ Easier learning curve for the circular though.
MIAOKE knitting machine is a piece of garbage. The COUNTER does not work, it drops stitches, suction cups are useless, and it will not knit rough yarn or thick yarn.

You can turn it and use it the other way with your left hand once you have cast on your yarn.
How can I get them....?
It would have been really helpful to include comments about the texture of the knitted fabric produced.
They all knit the same. It’s just plain knitting.

Maybe you might have mentioned how very expensive the Addi machine is.
@@Mondoshawn you would think so - I just spent $350 Canadian on a set of Goldtip needles! No regrets - they are beautiful!

None of these machines will knit rough or thick yarn. The info on these videos are wrong. These machines will do a #4 weight or lighter.
