😂Def get it, we hear this more often than you'd think. My wife sometimes records these vids for me, so in case she's reading these comments..this doesn't apply to her
Thank you that makes me really happy to hear. Glad the video helped you get back on the road. If you need any parts for your car in the future keep us in mind. www.Revemoto.com
Thanks for the video. I have a 2006 Accord. Heads up for people with older models - the wiring snaps into the mirror just adjacent to the bolts that hold the mirror in place. Which means I was able to replace the mirror without removing the door panel. Which is awesome because I feel like any time I have to remove a panel I break or lose clips.
Perfect video on how to replace my 2020 Honda Accord Sport side mirror that a tree took out while backing up. I was able to find the right color painted skull cap for my car. Does that cap just somehow snap onto the mirror assembly? And do you think an OEM skull cap would fit a non-oem assembly? If not I will just pay extra for the oem since it is probably worth the extra money. Hope u get to see this! Thanks for great video!
Hello! Aftermarket parts are made in OEM moldings. Some companies are better than others but the OEM should absolutely fit on an aftermarket mirror. Yes, the cap does snap on, so it's very easy to put on. Taking the cap off is a bit tricky but it's probably broken so you should have no issues. Thank you for watching and please subscribe, it helps us a lot! 🤘
You will use a 10mm socket, screw driver, flathead. Let me know if you have additional questions. If you need parts for your car go to www.ReveMoto.com
i ended up replacing mine with an OEM mirror complete assembly that came with the lunar silver skull cap. Install was a breeze after seeing your video.....BUT as I was picking up the plastic panel part that holds the passenger side push-button window button and door lock button, a spring dropped onto the ground! EVERYTHING seems to work fine without that spring, but I am losing sleep over it! I could not tell if it actually came from that push button plastic panel, or maybe just dropped from somewhere else at the exact time I was picking up that power window button panel. The spring is about 1 inch long and as thick as a pencil. Have you or anyone ever come across a spring like that when working inside that door panel? Any ideas on what to check?
We're glad the installation went well! As for the spring, we don't know. It's good everything works but we can see how that would be nerve-racking. It's probably not from the window regulator buttons. That is often enclosed in one unit or housing. Does your door handle feel loose? I can't think of anywhere that spring would be useful except for the interior door handle. Please subscribe, it helps us a ton! ✌

Are there any extra steps required for the driver side? I know there is a trunk release on that side
Thank you! I got side swiped in a hit and run but only damage was the mirror. Doesn’t seem worth paying the deductible and I think I can handle this
Yeah it truly isn’t worth the deductible or increase in rates later. Go to www.ReveMoto.com
Perfect. Thanks a ton

Does the mirror need to be calibrated by the dealership? My mother in law thinks so. Thanks
This one when I took off did not. You’re maybe different. I checked functions and everything worked fine
