I had a similar setup on my Mustang and yes it will get hot. I normally leave the AC pointing down so when I do remote start it's cold by the time I get in the car.
@@BoostedWhipz I had to file down all 8 Allen Wrench screws in order for the ring to be pushed all the way up, it was a pain in the ass but got it to work. Maybe the metal stick is a little thicker on all Accord LX models or the product was just simply defective

I know this is old, but this shifter works for the civic as well. You push down on this shifter to disengage the lock instead of having a button

Not sure. Normally it should fit all automatic vehicles with a shift knob.

I't didn't fit my 10 gen accord, Allen wrench screws are too long and preventing the boot from going all the way up :(

Yes of course. You have to push hard on the ring because it now comes with a rubber ring to hold boot in place.

Only on CVT transmissions with the 1.5T. All 2.0T Accords come with the Honda 10spd auto that is a push button.
