I'm also using GE-Proton8-25 and my OS Version is 3.5.7 and It's working. try to reinstall the game and before launching it change the force compatibility to GE Proton8-25 before launching it.
@@redvalley99 I tried playing with and withought wifi , withought wifi it says I need to be online for first launch , with wifi it showed anti cheat animation then just crashes
