I still remember when my mother was blind, Lucas came running from Italy and gave her two eyes, his humility was so great that of all the eyes he had he only kept 2. We love you Lucas. Make America Great Again.

Great interview. I'd rather pay 4 times the tuition than live in a gangland like Chicago. That place is a mess for anyone that isn't in the know.

One question, do either of you build a violin using the old world technique of hammering in hot rot iron nails into the neck as Stradivari did? What are your philosophys regarding buildi g baroque violins compared to modern violin construction? Thank you gentlemen for your dedication to this wonderful artform! Appreciate very much.

Cool to hear you worked at William Harris Lee. They built my cello.

Thank you for your comment and your support! I’m glad you enjoy it :)
I promise you I’m really trying to! Hahaha 😅
It just takes a lot more time and effort than it seems and I as I don’t really profit from this and it’s more like a hobby, then it’s not a priority 😔. But as soon as I finish catching up with some work, then I will get back to uploading more 🙃 (and I already have a couple of people in mind to interview 😊)

i can understand, if you can please focus on what should a person do to to get into schools like mittenwald deeply, most of the guest answers are less informative, they just say what the school website says so if you can focus more on what should a person learn and practice before applying to those schools

@@phaseneutral3006 I recently did an interview of the same style as this one with Lisa Hellmich, who went to Mittenwald. Don’t know if you managed to watch that video, if not, it’d for sure be a good way to start. But if you did, then I really think that she’s the right person to ask this to! (And I think she might even have some videos in regards to this too on her channel).
In that sense, I’m only in Cremona (and haven’t even visited Mittenwald yet haha), so all the other answers and information that I could get about that school would only be by asking someone else and not personal experience.
