When I saw the title, my first thought was 'Un couer en hiver'. I saw this when it was released in 1992. Must watch again.

And what a film! I don’t think it’s possible to portray the profession in a better way :)

Great video! Thank you very much for bringing out this movies with this interesting analysis angle. I can't believe I missed "Whisper of the heart", I love Ghibli movies and making violins, so looks like a perfect match.
Also the french one looks very interesting.
Now is late in the nigth, but for sure tomorro I'll start with the Ghibli one.
    Thanks again

    Very fun video 😀
Didn't ctually know any of these movies. The only one I know with violin making is The Red Violin, but maybe I should watch one of these

Thank you!! It’s been years (literally) since Ive been wanting to do this video!
Yes, the first and the last one are definitely worth a watch ;)
I have the red violin but I haven’t seen it (yet) actually. But if there’s enough interest for it, I could always watch it and make a second part :)

@@LucasFabro Haha, I know that feeling! Sometimes you juts take a while to get around to that one idea you've had...
The red violin is... Idk, interesting at least. Not super accurate, but there was some effort put into showing how much weird stuff a violin can go through in its lifetime, even though I think they made it all overly mysterious. To be fair, I also watched it with no subtitles the first and second time, and it goes between many languages I don't understand very well, so that could impact my impression of it :-P

@@Tostra1997 hahaha, well, I guess subtitles will help next time 🙃
Yeah, it’s not just deciding to turn the idea into reality, but if I had to tell you how much time I spent making this video you wouldn’t believe me 😅

I will believe a lot of things :-P
I can imagine it was quite a process! Especially when you've had an idea for long, you want to do it justice aand be thorough etc...

And the more things I learn about editing, the more I want to do use them…like making those animated circles took quite some time 😅
