That blue dial always looks lacquer-like in videos however after seeing it in person I can say that it looks glassy and jewel-like. It's mesmerising.
This watch is honestly perfect in my opinion
A beautiful watch, and I completely agree with the latest WB Roundtable, where they discussed how this retails for the same as a 2nd hand steel Daytona, and is much better value for money. This watch is better in almost every way; with more WR, switchable straps and a display movement with Geneva Seal.
That said, the only one’s I’d own are the black/white and silver dial variants, because of that glaring white date disk. If VC just matched the date and dial colour all versions of the Chronograph would look amazing, but the off centre date stands out much to obviously for my liking on the blue and brown dial models.
This is one you have to see in person. I never understood the hype of the dial until then. The space between the minute markers shine like sapphires. Simply amazing.
U never will go wrong with an OverSea! Even part is done up nicely. Love it!
I owned this watch for over one year. Like it more and more

1:33 ouch!
Nobody, and i mean NOBODY lets his watch bounce on the glas like him!!!
Big date was so much better, but I do like this bracelet.
A perfect watch.
My favorite watch
A bit too large lug-to-lug for my taste, but a gorgeous piece with a bracelet/strap system that I can really appreciate.
Gorgeous watch, on my list. Will sell for 50% of the current asking price by the end of the year...
One of the finest watch bracelets on the market. Just not too keen on the 3rd gen Overseas it’s connected to. The dial color is gorgeous, but the dial design is just too meh IMO. Take the bezel out of the picture and it could be any derivative chronograph.
Simply goegeous! Miss the date up top but otherwise stunning
Much better lighting/visual presentation!
Rolex who?
Love your channel !!! But please my heart bleeds when you put such a watch on that wooden table 🤣🤣
My favorite watch ⌚
Beautiful piece absolutely adore this brand
Thanx for the review. I wish you changed the straps both the leather and rubber and tried them.
Tim, get some Lee PressOn’s 💅to help you remove the bracelet. 🤣 works for me anyway.
Greatest watch ever
The white date window is too glaring that it distorts the face symmetry, would be perfect if they match it to the dial colour just like the AP chrono.
Love that dial!
Outstanding!
My favourite watch if I had the money :)
Hi I have a question, would you go for the chrono or the dual time? As I find the dual time a bit rare when comparing alot of makers do make chrono thanks
OTHMAN AL.SHATTI I would recommend the simple time and date blue dial version. It has the best symmetry and you get more of that stunning blue dial available for viewing.
Tim I have a question. Why don't they use free sprung valence?
But what day is it?
Tim Please tell us that can't figure out what watch you are referring to with the blue dial ! Also this VC or a Daytona?
F.P. Journe Chronometre Bleu
In terms of secondary market prices, the VC Overseas presents much better value for what you get (hand finishing, Geneva seal, etc.). Take a look at the blue dial 4500v models
Beautiful piece, but how can a watch so expensive by a big three brand like VC not have hacking seconds???
Beautiful watch but I can't imagine anyone with a smaller wrist that you wearing this watch.
Whats the price

1:33 noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
I can’t understand the lack of hacking seconds. Hacking seconds is important for setting exact time. For the price, why wouldn’t hacking seconds be incorporated into the movement? Otherwise a perfect watch!
A lot of high end manufacturers like patek, ap, fp journe, don't include hacking (in certain models). Apparently it's to ensure accuracy over a long period because when you hack the movement you are hitting the balance wheel to stop it and over time it can damage it.
I don't agree with them, and I doubt it really does anything, but that's the idea behind it
Are you part of Navy Seal commando coordinating action to a second? I never understood need for hacking, have several high end second hand hacking and non-hacking watches but I never use hacking function. What's the point???
@@musiclover4311 Lol. It's like the watch guy in New York City I forgot his name the Indian guy. He says I could not give a s*** about the functions of a watch nor the movement. I care about the look and the finishing and quality of a watch that appeals to me. I agree many people think that they're these herological experts
@@musiclover4311 lol. You just can't make up the tools and some of the comments
Hacking mechanisms aren't really ..... It's fine
Do these watches hold good value?
I picked one up on AliExpress for 50 dollars! And it's got the whole nine yards! Except it's plastic. Just kidding.
Beautifil VC
The fact you’d dropped the watch and drag the bracelet 😭😭😭I can already see the micro scratches
I thought the same thing.
On sapphire crystal? I think it'll be fine.
@@benmilesbc But the bezel around it it's not scratch resistant.
@@maximoplf on this watch the sapphire sits proud of the bezel by around a half mm 😊.
@@benmilesbc but when the watch falls, it just does not rest on the sapphire. It bounces a bit, and, in that movement, it can hit the bezel. I respect Tim, my favorite voice in the watch community, I just think it's not OK to drop a $17,000 watch like that.
