I’ve ridden from San Antonio, Tx to L.A. so many times I’ve lost count starting when I was 16 years old on a Honda SL350. There’s just something about making that trip out IH-10 on a Harley-Davidson big twin, the relaxed feel of that 45 degree V-twin loafing along doing what it was designed to do, all that torque just pulling you along accompanied by that gorgeous unmistakable American sound, cruise control set at about 95mph weather it’s a throttle lock or actual cruise. It just speaks to the soul. Gonna do it this year with the Old Lady on the back since she’s never made a serious road trip with me on the bike, I imagine it’s gonna change her life view forever lol. Great video man, very relaxing.😎
Thanks for your story cavscout62! I have to agree with you, hitting the open road is a feeling you can't explain. My only comparison is when you are 16 years old and you get that first time in the car by yourself with nobody else besides you and your thoughts.
Thank you! I appreciate the comment and feedback. I have a whole video series on this trip that break it down day by day. Check it out if you have time. ruclips.net/video/jFcPrDnKt4M/видео.html
Thanks Scott for the comment and the constructive feedback about the camera angle. You guys will have a blast. Ride safe, wear protective gear and have fun. Enjoy!

Brad g you bet! The stereo was great and sounded good all the way up to 65. After that there is a lot of wind and exhaust noise. The usb chord was really helpful to keep my phone charged.
Guys that was a cool video... I can tell it’s summer time. I’m about to do a summer ride. What Black long sleeve shirt is the guy wearing? It seems like a dry wicking shirt.
Great question! Yes, it was summer time and VERY hot. I have a whole video series about this trip. Please subscribe to my channel and check them out for more details of this trip. The shirts we wore were HEAT OUT, they are indeed moisture wicking. You can find them here amzn.to/2IOlgnQ
Did you watch the other videos I have of our road trip? We dd some of it! Weather, road closures and fires prevented us from doing the whole thing from san fran to LA
Yes, this was the iron butt challenge! What an incredible ride in the hot California sun and through blistering wild fires. We traveled a total of 1,136.9miles in 5 days. Normally, this amount of miles would not be a challenge in 5 days, however the heat and traffic of LA made it very difficult. Total Trip Cost: $897.10 - $1100 Map Route: goo.gl/maps/D1QTfwj96jR2
