That was my old daily commute, San Clemente to Crystal Cove, a 2015 Slim in Superior Blue, sadly it was run over in the Trader Joe's parking lot in 2017. Seriously thinking of replacing it with a vivid black one. Currently rolling my beloved R1100S.
Instead of riding season around the corner....it was a snow day here in the midwest. Thanks for warming up my day with the beautiful ride. I am jealous.
@@JOHNJCLARK 3 days. If you plan on riding the PCH start from San Fran or farther north. Sandiego to LA took me 4 hours to get through. I plan on doing it again
I may never ride the PCH, living in Northeast Missouri--but I enjoy seeing the area, your commentary on places to ride, and the info provided on bikes and products.
Really enjoying watching your ride videos, Matt. While your bike reviews are excellent (learned a ton that influenced my Road King purchase in October), getting your honest take on rides, towns, experiences is the best! Cool to see how you’ve grown over the years too. Keep up the great work!
Great Video Matt, really " California Dreamin " for me. Nice windshield and a beautiful bike. Greets and ? I speek Netherlands but I'am from Belgium you know .....LOL
Hey Matt, Great video! I jus bought a 2018 streetglide special a couple months ago and enjoy watching your vids and seeing how you personalize your bike. The PCH is on my bucket list and its great to see a glimpse of what it will be like. Looking forward to more!
Yes Matt ... I enjoy it ... I like your Kind of Tour Videos , you have a good Eye for nice and beauty Places / Locations ... you alone or with your Friends / Crew Transport a good Feeling in the right Places to stay for a while Thank you very much for this and stay so ☺ ... Have ever a safe and happy Ride, See you, maby on the Road sometimes
Jealous! You have all the toys. Great video. I'd be scared that the drone would never come back or crash into the sea, but it gets some superb footage. I'd do a video of a trip to cold wet Mersea Island here in the UK, but I don't think it would compare well.
You`re a lucky guy, you ride bikes in surely one of the most scenic places on the planet. I`m from the UK and last May I came to the States hired a 2017 Heritage Classic and rode HWY1 from San Francisco to LA. I`ll never ever forget the experience. Great weather great scenery and a road made for cruising. Just wish I`d worn a helmet cam. I look forward to you doing a mini tour from say Daly City to maybe Monterey or maybe Cayucus to Malibu. Nice Street Glide Special.
Love what you've done so far on your bike. Only thing being white I kind of reminds of the Louisiana State Police motorcycle unit bikes. They use the road kings with a 110 on them. Also cool one up seat.
Love these small epic journeys you’re taking Matt. That’s how you live life and why we ride. The Ocean and Canyon runs all beautiful. Here in Texas only the rolling hills but beautiful non the less. Good job Matt. Ride safe road warrior brother.
Great video Matt as usual. You're pretty good with that drone. However, we don't need to be showing folks how great it is here So. Cal. as it's crowded enough as it is. lol
Man, your videos are getting better and better. Please keep doing more riding tourism videos, they're excellent. Hope you upload the other two sections of PCH.
Nice one! That’s one Harley I would like to own. Partial to white with black theme. The truck almost cut you off there in Laguna I believe. Good video.
Dang Matt, this makes me miss SoCal! So many memories surfing up and down that coast as a kid. Thanks for posting and keep up the great work! Cheers from Australia! I'll be back in Riverside later this month and will try to make a trip out to your shop.
Really great vlog. Gonna take you up on that suggestion about PCH from Santa Monica to Morro Bay. Wife has family near Paso Robles so while we’re on vacation in August I think we’ll ride it. Possibly the week before we fly to Milwaukee for Harley’s 115th. Thanks for the tip and ride safe!
Love the Pacific Coast Highway.. definitely very relaxing. Love those round mirrors looks kind of vintage.. your windshield came out very nice. You have one bad Ass Vici Matt!! Oh an lol do you have a permit to fly that drone...
The Mendo coast is one of my all time favorites. Ridden it many times. I also love the southern Oregon coast from the state line up to Port Orford. Another excellent video Matt.
FAA supposed to crack down on drones by requiring those at a certain size and above to be registered and marked like a plane. Doesn't make sense because ultra glide air craft sort of follows the same rule as motorized scooters in the sense that you don't need an endorsement 150 cc s or lower. But above your required to. The drone issue is due to the popularity of the ones that are bigger than say a serving tray
Love the video Matt. Thinking of putting a Corbin Wall on my new fat bob 114. I’m 6’4”. Any you’ve seen with it on? Looks like it’s only good for riding single so I’m torn.
Very cool ride out Matt, I'll have to seriously consider my next vacation there; Can I ask how did the new screen perform and what size is it, I'm 6' 4" and hate helmet buffering?
Great bike matt! I was wondering what kind of exhaust you have and tuner. I recently purchased a 2018 streetglide special also and looking into a set of slip ons. Not too loud. Just deep and throaty. Any recommendations??
Matt Love The Video and Beach Shots I Have Lived In SOCAL All My Life Except The 4 Years I Served in The Air Force....Am Taking The Harley Rider Academy Course at End of Oct.2019 Might Swing By Your Place and Look at The 48s and 883 iron.....BTW How Long A Drive is That From Home To Work ?
Hey what’s up Matt really love your videos you always have very nice bikes I was curious what kind of seat that is and if if you think that would look OK on a Morocco gold Harley Davidson thank you for all your info and all the help
Matt beautiful bike. Congrats! So here is a question to a guy that knows all these bikes very well - I tested both SG and RG recently, I liked the looks and the ride on the SG. Only every dealer I went around here totally trashed street glides “oh the wind” this and that but I din’t feel a thing. I actually felt SG to be lighter and gave me more frontend feel. Maybe since I ride a dyna I don’t mind a little shake but would like a honest opinion which one to get. Is wind really a factor when considering a SG? I do go on long trips and often ride 80+ mph . I’m 6.2 and I was SUPER comfortable on the SG with the 12” monkey bars.
Hi Matt. Could you pls do some more videos of the 2018 chromed out Road King? Also would be interested to know if Harley Davidson will make available the 114 motor in the 2019 or 2020 version of the Road King?
Great Video. And.... the area is really beautiful. Your bike stands alone. Holy Moly what a superb motorcycle. What can i say.... the weather ... blue. Lucky Guy Matt. ;-) Greets from a snowy area in Germany. But the hope dies at last. I belive the sun comes around.
Bavarikus I had a couple guys from German visit me recently. The riding sounds great out there. Of course when the snow melts. Thanks for the comment as always.
Thanks for the video Matt.. I’m considering purchasing those mirrors for my bike but I want to know your opinion on them first. I’ve read that there is a lot of vibration with them, is that true?
Great video Matt! I will be out there the first of June coming from NE Oklahoma. We will be a little farther north. Wish we had time to come down to your area I would love to meet you. Ride Safe! P.S. the bike looks awesome!
Nice bike, I have concerns that a bike like the Street Glide on any Harley that has the forward controls because of my bad back and my tailbone that is very fragile. Can you put mid controls on these bikes and if you do will you be able to absorb the bumps thru your legs like my FZ09. I live in Costa Mesa and cops will not ticket these street racer V8 cars and trucks with stock car loud pipes, and I want to go and stick a potato up their exhaust.
THE PCH IS A BUCKET LIST RIDE FOR ME!

Great video Matt. I'm an east coaster so I really love seeing the west coast scenery. Great drone footage too. Keep em coming.
I'm in South Carolina
Doing PCH next year. Thanks for sharing.
Epic drone views Matt!! Thank you for the hard work that you put into these videos.
Love the smoke frosting on the new shield. Thanks for showing.
Thanks for taking us along for the ride, it was great seeing the local scenery, I haven't been there since the 70's, need to get back for a visit.
Instead of riding season around the corner....it was a snow day here in the midwest. Thanks for warming up my day with the beautiful ride. I am jealous.
The PCH is always a good ride. I ride it whenever I get the time. Thanks again for another great vlog Matt.
It's on my bucket list
Nice ride matt, thanks for bringing us along. Love the drone footage.
Love your riding videos... im from San Diego. I’m currently deployed in Afg. I cant wait to ride my street glide
Beautiful customized motorcycle, I am sure there will be people showing up at Laidlaw Harley Davidson wanting their own Storm Glide!
I would guess wanting that very one! Lol!
Way to combine two faves.. Harley Davidson mod and ride and showing off beautiful sceneries! Really enjoyed it!
I can't wait for this damn weather to break. I need to get my knees in the breeze and clear my head.
J Tetlow move to Texas, ride year round
I love that you are taking scenic rides and your new bike is right on key. Please keep the videos coming. Great job!
I did that ride a couple years ago. I rented a bike. I went from San Diego to Monterey. SD to LA traffic was a nightmare
What did it cost you to rent?
@@JOHNJCLARK About $750 or so from eagle rider.
@@philgiordano1 how long did you have the bike?

Nice windshield. Great ride. Beautiful weather is right around the corner...

Those drone shots were nice . I have been kicking around the idea of getting one .

I’m doing the 2nd and 3rd sections next week up to Santa Cruz! Can’t wait. Thanks for the route clarification tho
very nice - cool drone shots Matt ............
Waiting for my long rides 7 inch shield to come in. I got the smoked tint since my bike is black cherry pearl with a black batwing on front.

Like those tan Harley fingerless gloves. Still available? Not on haley's website. GREAT VIDEO!
Try riding Highway 1 just north of San Francisco, out of Marin, all the way up until it joins with US 101. You'll have a 4th favorite section.
