I tried this,.it cleaned very well. Once you starting using after cleaning my burners become very dark now just for a day. They were much better prior to cleaning.

I soak my burners in oxygen bleach and super hot water. Minimal scrubbing required. Even hard to clean corners like potato peelers and handheld can openers is so easy to clean. No scrubbing needed.

You put two acids into the bowl, vinegar and lemon juice, then add baking soda, which partially neutralises the acid, Levine a slightly weaker acid. So, try it without the baking soda and it will be more effective.
