    This is so much fun for kids, for children, the notion of having residence or a play house in a treehouse seems any children would climb the little ladder and be so happy to be there, inside the treehouse, from the ground level to a little height, the difference, the feel also different, sweet sense.

    Sir, you need an impact driver :-) Wonderful build though! Bet your kids love it

      I know. having got used to an impact driver (cordless!), hurts me to see these corded drills

      I bet it hurts the screws even more

    Are there any clearer measurements you could share? Love the look & design & am going to try this exact build out. For some reason, I can’t make out the designs

    2 - 2x8's spanning that distance between the trees in my opinion are not enough to carry the load above. A foot bridge of that length I would use 2x10's for the span. Has it held up well since you built it?

    Do you have a direct link to the specs? It's hard to zoom in on them from the video. I would love to build this for my kids but having the exact measurements would make it alot easier.

    How is the treehouse holding up now?

  • @robertyoungs6360
    @robertyoungs6360 2 года назад

    Try an impact driver instead of a drill for driving screws. Much easier to handle and less likely to strip the heads.

  • @Byggmester.Hansen

    You should get yourself a impact driver😂

    I am building a tree house for my Granddaughter and I am very interested in watching Part 3. Any chance that is coming soon? I have several books and there are other videos but I like the design and ease of this unit you are builing. Thank you for Parts 1 and 2, can't' wait to see it completed in Part 3.

    Why did you attack the floor to the tree? Why not leave the tree braces unattached and on rails so the trees can move?

  • @carllundgren6461
    @carllundgren6461 2 года назад +1

    I sure hope you put some carriage bolts through those rail posts. Over time those posts will definitely give way. Deck screws are a poor way of attaching rail posts.

    Did you use pressure treated wood for the frame? Also did you use 8 ft 2x4’s? Thanks for the videos, helping me out a lot. Got the base done and the floor, doing the deck today sitting in Home Depot parking lot as I type this!

    This guy needs some new cordless drills. Say...Rigid, Dewalt, Milwaukee. One of these companies that could afford to do so, would help this Dad out, please help this DIY Dad out.

      For tree houses, if you can use nails it can often be a better choice for fastening boards. They offer some flexibility and won't snap when it flexes. Hey, maybe you could get one of the above mentioned companies to send you a decent nail gun?

    You didn’t say what frame was...2x4 or 2x6? Figured 2x 4 but looked like 2x6 when you were cutting.

    Excellent series!! Quick question - how long were the railing 4x4's?

    • @griffithwoodworking6661
      @griffithwoodworking6661  3 года назад

      They were a total of 48" tall, but the bottom part of those were 8 inches below the deck.
