Excellent job mate! your boys are fortunate to have a great dad. p.s. last year I built a treehouse of similar size and discovered the impact driver half way through, would've saved me a lot of time and effort when constructing the platform. all the best from Sydney, Australia :)
I too would love to see more about the rope railings. Even just a link to another ‘how-to’ diagram if a video is too much. Also curious what type of rope.
Thank you posting your tree house build! I’m going to use your design as a basis for a treehouse for my grandkids. I’m concerned about the amount of weight the tree lag screws are supporting. Believe I’ll use one lag screw on each end to hold the 2x10 ? In place then drill thorough them and the tree for a 1” threaded rod.
It would leave marks but what you couldve done when trying to screw the long railing board is partially drive a screw on either end of the posts right below your mark and then the board could rest on them while you screwed them in. You could then remove the screws. Better yet would be some quick release clamps..
Hey man really curious if you did any research on the shear load strength of those 6 inch lag screws, Im building a treehouse at about the same height and used those screws as well… just looking for some peace of mind. Great job by the way.
When attempting to pull the post in with the red tie strap, it might have worked a bit better to put the strap through one of your already made holes as it was fixed in place.
Hi. What did this end up costing you in materials and what was the date of the build so maybe I can estimate the build cost relative to the inflation that’s been happening
Wood clamps are my best friends when I have to do something on my own. Good job, your boys will always remember when dad built them a tree house.
Excellent job mayn 😮
Looks like my next hunting blind. Loved the video and I hope your 2 boys know just how lucky they are.
Very well done. I am sure those little ones love it.
Well done sir. I'm not laughing at you. God bless you and your family.
It is called "perseverance" that you continue with electric drill from part one to part 4!
Good work, Thank you for the way to build a tree house
That is cool my friend.
👍🙏🇺🇸👍🙏🇺🇸

Long live your hands as we say in my counry Iraq . It is fabulous
Great job the boys will love it 👍
Amazing! This is the type of content thay inspire us. I want to do a similar tree
house in my farm.
Congratulations from Brazil!
GREAT JOB.... YOU DID WELL.
Good stuff, looks like a solid build. We're ready to do something this summer. Appreciate your time and knowledge. 🍻
Great video
Nice job!
Nice I'm starting my tree house.. thanks .. I'm copying some steps you did. Haha. I love it your tree house..
Looks great but you really need to invest in a cordless hammer drill!
Did you make the rope rail weaving video?
I would love to see the rope braid for the railing. About to start building one for my 6yr old this month
Good job DAD. I’m thinking of doing something similar
Rope video!
Def need the rope video. I’ve pretty much built this design just have the railings left and wanna know how to do the weave
Amazing job!!!!!
Looks nice
Great job!!
Great job brother ❤
Excellent!

Great idea using dji drone to film.

I was thinking the same way
The whole time I watched this thinking “I wish I trusted anything as much as this guy trusted the shear strength of screws”
@@CaseyKinsey Those looked like heavy duty decking screws, Those are semi hardened steel, they should be fine as long as there is no play.

Brilliant idea! Kind of like tying off the ships steering.
Well done so what kind of bolt did you use for attaching the lag to the support board? It sure wasn't the TAB( tree attachment bolt)
Did you end up doing a stand alone video of your rope railing? Very cool!
How much was the over hang for the roof 2 or 3 inches?
Inspiring
Date: Dec. 5, 2024
Is it still up?
And can you send me the building plans?
What are the measurements?
Thank you,
Kathleen

It is not appropriate to drive a screw into the living tree!
