I spent most of my morning today carving a cross to mark the beginning of my journey to Christ. You guys have been instrumental in getting me on the path and words cannot describe how grateful I am for it. Thank you and God bless.

Me and my family who don’t really go to church but do our own Bible study with each other also listen to this as well as a weird form of Bible study or church
Not to be an ass or attack anyone but any kind of "at home" church is not a replacement but just a supplement of actually going to church, at least that's what I've been taught, so I'm glad you all are connected to God in some way but look forward to finding yourself a good family to be a part of and get God in your lives for real eventually
@@SerechII I’m going to worship God in my own way. It is between me and God. I don’t your opinion. Every church I go to tells the same 10 stories I’ve heard all my life and never goes into anything deeper than that. So long story short you are an ass.
@@SerechII So it’s less of a personal relationship with God kind of thing, more of a “I’ve been to the big building recently” type of thing? Which big building counts? Some real “Catholics/Protestants are going to hell because they’re the wrong type of christian” logic there.
"They're gonna find out what made in the image of God means real quick" needs to be a t-shirt or something. That's hilarious, and 100% accurate to Southern ideology.
I've always found it so interesting that despite Jesus telling the other eleven Apostilles that one of them is a traitor, and both John (and Peter) being told who the traitor was, they still believed Judas was going out to buy something for the supper or to give money to the poor. Even after Jesus told them Judas was a traitor, they still couldn't believe it. Makes it even that more tragic in my opinion.
I really wish you guys did a live stream church sermon ever sunday! the way you guys go through the bible is wonderful and helps bring a new generation of believers into the church

I love this podcast. Since the end of 2022 my life has been very difficult, and I've gone through many ups and downs in my faith. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of birth pains. 9 “Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me.
There's also the question of reading the Bible with an understanding of it's historical context. Is rubbing one out against the rules, or was it against the rules that specific time when someone did it as a method of disobedience and there was like 8 humans
Ugh, I get so frustrated when people talk about the story of the greatest commandment. Everyone frames that story as if that Pharisee is trying to trip Jesus and catch him in a trap. I don't think that is true, though, because Mark’s gospel has Jesus telling that Pharisee “You are not far from the Kingdom of God.” Out of all the Pharisees who questioned Jesus, I think that one was one of the few who was asking his question in good faith.
I tried to talk about this with my religious friend at work but he said that Wendigoon is catholic and that he hates the jews for killing Jesus... soooo I no longer talk to him about this.
that beautiful imag, that i will defenetly "steal": that you live for money, and you get it with cesars image, and shall it give it back to him. But your soul has to have the inprint of God, and you will give it back to him too.
Technically speaking, there was a “first great flood” before Noah, that being the end Cretaceous extinction 66 million years ago, as the impact of the asteroid caused giga-tsunamis. And then there was fire. And darkness. (Maybe that’s more of an apocalypse)
Just a side note but it seems that John the Baptist did not heal or perform miracles: see John 10:41 NIV. Thanks for the video, it's my first time listening to the Weird Bible after enjoying lots of Lore Lodge and Wendigoon content in the past, and it's great so far!
@orseysaucey9255 That's the reason for it is. Humans didn't sacrifice God's only son for human kind God did. There's a lot of symbolism in the Catholic Church.
@@stevenspurgeon2087 mate you shouldn’t need a person to symbolise God. Everyone who has the Holy spirit dwelling in them will naturally bear the fruit of the spirit which is more than enough to see God. I appreciate tradition but the Catholic hierarchy is a joke sometimes.
Yep, we have had some real hummdingers before. But that doesn't mean we should say that a man offered God's son for humanity. Or say it was one of the apostles or some random man who said this is my body do this in memory of me.

Some interesting things to look up from the Talmud (which dictates the modern Jewish religion): Sanhedrin 59a Avodah Zara 26b, 37a Bava Metzia 114b [potentially interesting] Tosefta Avodah Zara 9 Keep in mind Rom. 11:16-24, you who have hatred in your heart. Pray not for downfall, but for repentance, as you should for all your fellow man.
Is there a such thing as atheistic an Christian? I don't know if I 100% by a literal interpretation of the Bible but I'm not closed off to the idea of some Force driving everything. I really just like to study all the mythologies of different regions and such, but I see a lot of wisdom in the Bible as allegory Edit: immediately after posting this I broke a hose at work that I swear was disconnected so I suppose I have some things to think about.

There's also the question of reading the Bible with an understanding of it's historical context.
Is rubbing one out against the rules, or was it against the rules that specific time when someone did it as a method of disobedience and there was like 8 humans
Ngl I did believe Wendigoon for a moment when he said move onve a year like a good christian and i was sooooo confused
1:10:06 this goes so hard.
Yeah baby, another bible video is out
The story about the seven husbands isn't a hypothetical, it's from Tobit.
Just some guys talking bout God and stuff 👌🏾
How do I get to the same understanding of the Bible as you 2?
that beautiful imag, that i will defenetly "steal": that you live for money, and you get it with cesars image, and shall it give it back to him. But your soul has to have the inprint of God, and you will give it back to him too.
It’s good to know God is used to dealing with stupid people like me

Technically speaking, there was a “first great flood” before Noah, that being the end Cretaceous extinction 66 million years ago, as the impact of the asteroid caused giga-tsunamis. And then there was fire. And darkness. (Maybe that’s more of an apocalypse)
Just a side note but it seems that John the Baptist did not heal or perform miracles: see John 10:41 NIV. Thanks for the video, it's my first time listening to the Weird Bible after enjoying lots of Lore Lodge and Wendigoon content in the past, and it's great so far!
The Catholic priests are called father because they are symbolizing God, who sacrificed his only son during the mass.
There is only ONE father. Quit turning your head to the word of Christ
@orseysaucey9255 We're turning toward Christ ☦️
Quit, yourself 🤨
Okay it's definitely not the mics being low, you guys are peaking in places. But somewhere from the mic to us, the volume is lowered.
RUclips does it, annoying as that is
Have you guys ever given your opinions on dispensationalism?
I vote Tom bombadil as well I hear ya brother
Romans 4:2 For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God.
3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.
4 Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.
5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. KJV.
Romans 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
Some interesting things to look up from the Talmud (which dictates the modern Jewish religion):
Sanhedrin 59a
Avodah Zara 26b, 37a
Bava Metzia 114b
[potentially interesting] Tosefta Avodah Zara 9
Keep in mind Rom. 11:16-24, you who have hatred in your heart. Pray not for downfall, but for repentance, as you should for all your fellow man.
Why is this channel always so quiet compared to every other channel

Is there a such thing as atheistic an Christian? I don't know if I 100% by a literal interpretation of the Bible but I'm not closed off to the idea of some Force driving everything. I really just like to study all the mythologies of different regions and such, but I see a lot of wisdom in the Bible as allegory
Edit: immediately after posting this I broke a hose at work that I swear was disconnected so I suppose I have some things to think about.
Wendi not liking TØP is absurd to me.. never would’ve guessed… 😔 Aiden 1 however.. wouldn’t put it passed him lol
