Yes, the Tab does lock in standing mode. It also Auto rotates between both views. And the fingerprint reader is at the same place in both landscape and standing position. Hope this helps🤗😊

Oh, I didn't understand your first question ,sorry😊 And yes, if you put it in standing mode and then Turn Off the 'Auto Rotate' ,it stays in Standing mode even if you move it in any way. I'll try to make a short about it soon😊
