After thinking that he dealt with the problem that is Angstrom Levy, Mark goes about his life not realizing that the entire time his greatest enemy is still out there in the multiverse, having survived having his head completely bashed in by moving to a hyper advanced Universe of humans. Over the time that happens between this fight and the next, Angstrom travels the multiverse realizing that he can’t possibly defeat Mark alone, so he goes to get the only person he thinks CAN get Mark, and that would be other universe versions of Mark Grayson. To assemble his army of 24 Invincible’s, Angstrom travels the multiverse searching for the most evil yet reasonable marks he can find, and finds anything from a Mark Grayson with a Mohawk that took over his own planet, to a cannibalistic version of Mark known as Sinister Invincible that tries to eat him. These versions of Invincible all invade Mark’s main timeline during an arc called the Invincible War, and cause MAYHEM across the planet earth as they destroy entire towns and critical facilities. It takes the power of the entire hero population to combat this force, and Mark Himself has to get involved in doing battle against his alternate selves for FOUR days straight to try and save the world. Next up, we’ll explain some of these Alternate Universe Marks, and the worlds they came from.

There's a fan theory that because the main universe Mark got his powers so late compared to other Viltrumites & his other versions, he didn't spend years being trained by Omni-Man to follow Viltrumite customs & support the idea of their Empire taking over the Earth compared to all of the other Marks from other universes, hence why they lack the empathy for humanity our Mark has.
All this carnage against the one good mark in the multiverse
Imagine a universe where Mark *DID* stop his Father but at the cost of killing Him and choosing one of two path ways: Good and Evil.
Man. I admittedly had no knowledge of the Invincible universe. All I knew was that he was an image character. While I was familiar with a number of of them such as Savage Dragon, Shadow Hawk, Wet Works, and my favorite comicbook character of all time, Spawn. I wish I would have known about this series.
I had fresh eyes at the start of the series. One character that impressed me as of season 2 was Rexplode. The way he took care of bidness against the lizard league was awesome. Defying all expectations. He became one of my faves in the series. To see how he went out just affirms why. Went full Vegeta on him. Rip Rex.

This reminds of the wolf spider man situation from the ultimate spider man series. Out of all the Marks in the multiverse, the Mark in the main story line is the only good one.

I like to think there’s a variant of mark that chose Anissa over Eve, I know what she did in the comic but I still think Mark could have changes her and they could have worked out their differences.

I’m curious about the mark wearing the white viltrumite attire. Was there anything about him?
Theres two that wear white attire. One with a mustache, and one without. The one with mustache has no info about him and he got bodied off screen.
The one without apparently killed Spawn before, although he was the first to die and be cannibalized in the isolated desert dimension. No origin story though.
