Nobody...absolutely NOBODY will ever play that old piano like Jerry Lee!
dumb ass comment, but, The Killer WAS ONE of Thee Best
@@mehermusic2154 He still is your comment is dumb
Absolutely agreed
The greatest country artist that ever walked this earth. Rest in peace.
It's occurred to me more than once that Jerry Lee defied genre. He was a genre unto himself, most likely.
Quite a rock-n-roll great too.
Amen listened to him my whole life. Will continue until I’m gone.
The master of American music. Ragtime, stride, boogie Woogie. Country n western, rhythm n blues, rock n roll. He kind of a jazz cat the whole way too since he always improvised and never played the same song the same way twice. A guy could be good at one or two but never again all of ‘em like the Ol Killer.
AGREE. Totally.
0:43. The final curtain fell 10-28-22. Jerry Lee defied genre. It would be fair to say he was a genre unto himself.
"...The piano means a whole lot to me..."
Nobody but Jerry Lee can play and sing like he does. gosh I have loved this man and his music. can' t believe Nashvilles Grand Ole Opry hasn't ever recognizef his talent! what a shame!
Glad he got that award just before he passed!
Nobody will ever "Play that old piano" like the killer!
Couldn’t read music, no piano lessons, abused and rejected by the Nashville music establishment, disdained by elite highbrow critics, maligned for his messy marriages, ignored as a has-been Rock n Roller…..
The greatest of them all never lost faith in his God given talent. Near inhuman strength and courage…. no entertainer in American history (probably world history) has done what this man has done. The greatest of them all….. and he knew it.
you told the truth there brother!!
No one is ever gonna play it like this again
Who's gonna play the old piano now? RIP to a legend
Michael bickley, there will never be another to play that old piano like jerry Lee !!!
R.I.P. Jerry Lee. Who is going to play this old piano now that he is gone?
Posting 10-28-22. RIP, Killer! Who's gonna play this old piano after you're not here? Nobody who sounds anything like you. Sad to see you go. i guess you and your cousin Mickey are now reunited.
Gives everything he’s got every time. God given talent.
Music flows through Jerry Lee like a force of nature. Gifted and brilliant. The Best!
RIP Killer! Who is going to play that old piano? No one ever again like you!
The Man, no one like him
😢
That southern TWANG ♥️ BEAUTIFUL KILLER ♥️
He could float my boat
Killer Dixieland horns too!
@James Jones The studio version, released in late 1972, had horns. The Killer wanted a Dixieland sound, apparently.
The single most gifted performer in American history. His star will continue to rise. His genius is timeless. Millions will yet discover it.
One of a kind irreplaceable.
So true well said x
Darn great song and a very valid question!

WHO EVER CAN KILLER ????🎹🎹👄
Rip Killer - I loved your music - God given talent
Who's gonna play this ol' piano
After I'm not here?
Who's gonna sing these sad songs to you
Cause your eyes to fill with tears?
Who's gonna keep these ivories talking
Like Jerry's doin' now?
Who's gonna play this ol' piano
After my last bow?
When that final curtain falls
Someday lord it will!
Who'll take my place on that stage
When everything is hushed and still
Who's gonna touch these keys with feeling?
Really get to you
Who's gonna play this ol' piano
When my time is through?
Thanks for the lyrics!
Too cool. 😎
That's some of the last great music composed and arranged in the late 20th century. Music has gone way downhill from there.
RIP Killer. See you soon.
R.I. P. Killer always ❤you

@jerylee90
Thanks Fed
THE MEAT MAN ???
I may be wrong, but isn’t this Jerry Lee’s actual piano. That his parents bought him as a child? Can’t say I ever recall seeing another upright or at least this particular one apart from this time on pop goes the country?
It appears to be a player piano withat shutered oopening to put the piano rolls in, it must have been so difficult to play those swipes with the state of those keys!
Brandon Giles is as close as it gets to Jerry Lee. Search him out and listen.
well jacob tolliver will play that ol' piano for ya
Who's going to play this old piano - No one like Jerry Lee Lewis that's for sure - I know he is still playing in heaven....
He is still alive
He isn’t dead Lmmfao
The killer ain't through yet, but I guess heaven can wait for the King
Ol Bill means that’s how high the Killer gets on the week-end
The true King is already in heaven. Been there for over 2000 years.
who is?
Not one person.
Didn't need any of the awful brass.
Funny. I love it
It's Dixieland ffs......
It was in the studio version from 1972, which I remember charting. In fact, the brass was prominent on that version.
If I could play ANY instrument, I'd be beyond flattered if Killer asked me to back him!
Who is?
