We used to sing Jerry lee music in the Brunswick in the year 58/59 Glasgow'.

Yup. As kids, we used to say we "killed" something when we did it very well. In that sense, Jerry Lee Lewis "killed" the act of vocal and piano better than any and all others. I got hooked in 57, when he recorded "You Win Again" at Sun Recording in Memphis.
Mighty fine bone, trumpet, and clarinet. And the piano. Well, there is never going to be an equal to Jerry Lee Lewis. Not in any place, not at any time.

It made a big difference to me, because of two reasons. One, she was 13 years old, a child, Two, she's his cousin, very warped/sick, but it didn't stop me from liking his talent.. his songs, his music. I remember listening to his hit song..

He burst on the scene as a rocker, but few people could match him as a country artist.

I got to see Jerry twice live. He was great even though he was always late and drunk. He never missed a note.

It was standard practice back in that period in the south. His sister married at fourteen.
