STORE THEM HORIZONTALLY! Most necessary tip ive learned. That way they dont saturate to one end.

You can use the Greys to blend with the colors. Of course, it's best to use grey which matches the color temperature of course. Some of the best videos I have seen on markers are the old episodes of Jazza Art, where he was doing a lot of drawing tutorials. I don't know if they are still archived on his channel or not. Also, Cardstock/illustration boards seem to affect things more than they appear, like how the gradient blending appears or how longer you can keep things wet. I don't know what is worth looking at available since I haven't been doing much marker work in a while.

Can second Jazza. He brakes them down fairly well. Also ADC art attack has a tutorial I think

Nice. Looks sweet. Love the colors and the cell shading transition look it gives off

That's a tight pic. It is very epic!I the muscles, the texture and light 3d blue effect is just awesome. never understood why do everybody always draw batman without the yellow ellipse. Neal adams and others made the new look almost 60 years ago for us to keep going.

I'm sure someone has said something, but when you were talking about it being dark and you're stuck with it, you can use the colorless blender to "push" away the ink and even to the point of "erasing" in case white out is too far. Plus using alcohol markers over white out can ruin the marker tips, so maybe try the blender first, and hide the excess in the black printed area. Great videos. Thank you for sharing.

I’m just getting started with alcohol based markers myself. They definitely feel like watercolors, kinda scary if you don’t plan it out and have a copy of your finished inks haha. David Finch has a pretty nice video of him using them too.

I'm extremely new to coloring. How are you not getting those bleed lines when the markers overlap? Maybe I'm using the wrong markers and paper? My overlap marks are incredibly dark and irreversible 😅
