Black Myth: Wukong | Chapter IV
You need two (2) things to bring with you during this boss fight:
1) Weaver’s Needle: Upon activation, relentlessly homes in on and attacks the enemy. Highly effective against specific enemies.
• You can acquire it after defeating Duskveil. Don’t worry, there are lots of guides/tutorial on how to get there
2) Patience: Lots of it. I mean if you wanted to get the needle, you have to access the secret area - “Purple Cloud Mountain”. There’ll be lots of fighting before acquiring the Weaver’s Needle, so take advantage of this to level up your preferred skill tree
Noob’s Note:
• Subjectively speaking, this is the most challenging boss in Chapter IV. If not, it’s one of those frustrating bosses with messy hit box (or I’m just way too dumb to time my heavy attacks)
• I really suck at perfect dodging, so ‘unlimited roll’ works for me 🤡 (but there are definitely other ways to efficiently dodge this boss’ set of strikes)
• Utilize your materials. Use up all those Celestial Medicine materials to upgrade your maximum HP, Mana, and Stamina on top of the additional stats you get from ‘Survival’ skill tree. Don’t worry about using up all your epic items on crafting, you can always remake Celestial Medicines like how you can revert your spark points
• I’ve tweaked my skill tree here just to max out my stamina, mana, HP, ATK, and DEF (but you can tweak yours based on your playstyle or spells)
• It’s more efficient to exhaust all your Spells and Transformations once you stun the boss on its ‘piss filter’ phase. Remember, you have to activate the ‘Weaver’s Needle’ once the boss was about to cast their last phase or after the cutscene in this video (where the background will turn yellow)
• At low HP, there’ll be a certain attack where the boss will grab and throw you mid-air, then Hulk Smash you to the ground. It can one-shot you depending on your build, so be extra careful

• (4pc.) When stained with mud, increases Might recovery rate; Dodges and Perfect Dodges also recover a small amount of additional Might.
Relics:
- Craving Eyes: Opportune Watcher
• Considerably increases Focus gained upon consecutive successful Light Attack hits
- Fuming Ears: All Ears
• Slightly extends invincibility duration of the first move of all Varied Combos
- Hubris Nose: Lingering Aroma
• Gain a moderate damage bonus for a short time after casting a spell
Drink and Soaks:
- Immortabl Blessing Gourd
- Lambbrew: Max HP recovery +20% with slow recovery rate of 25% at max
- Double-Combed Rooster Blood: Removes Poison State and moerately increases Movement Speed and Critical Hit Chance
Curios:
- Agate Jar: DEF +14
- Back Scratcher: Stamina +30
