    dude hiding the m18 in plain sight on that last shot is glorious to me. Sometimes you just gotta make it work and quickly. Rest of the shots were phenomenal. I got have gemini money but im gonna grab maybe 2 novas and a 6 by for that interior fill. My biggest client is always asking for exactly what you had on these first 2 scenes. Great stuff man.

      I'm glad it was hidden enough haha! Just had to make it work like you said. I'm thinking about those Novas as well! Perfect for wrapping soft light! Thanks man!

    Omfg what have I just watched. I feel like I’ve just had a peak inside the matrix🤣. You literally broke down commercial filming and made it look like yiu were filming a blog. But the scary thing is, after watching it I feel like I could do something similar 🤣🤣🤣......... watch this space guys. But seriously my respect for you and your has gone up massively. I already subscribe but please keep this going. I know it’s a lot to ask but I’d love to hear more about what lighting levels you’re trying to achieve with the lights compare to watch the natural light provides. For a long time I couldn’t understand why so much light was required now I’m at the stage where I understand but as I’ve never been on set I try to gauge from these videos how much output is required as I’d love to be able to get similar results from a 600d as I don’t have m18 money 🤣🤣🤣 but yh overall amazing. Also on the outdoor m18 shot did you have cto on it too? And what Kelvin would you it was at as I’m not sure if it was single or double cto. Thanks 👊🏾

      Wow I appreciate all the kind words. This kind of comment is what I strive for. Im so happy you enjoyed it and grateful that I get to share my process with you. I'm going to try to get part 3 out ASAP, its been quite busy. For exterior shot on the patio, we had 1/4 CTO on the m18. and just shot at 5600K in camera. Thanks again, appreciate this.

    You crushed it! Feel free to make your videos longer. I love the knowledge and I believe RUclips rewards channels with longer videos because it keeps viewers on their platform longer. There's no reason this channel can't be one of the top cinematography channels.

    Loved the shots. really loved the look. I agree with you about the living room scene. definitely a little bit too much haze lol someone would have to call the fire department with that amount of haze. Love your work though and learning a lot

    This is soooooooooo good! Thank you so much for sharing! I do agree that some of the haze was a little much, but you also had so much to fit in a day! Was the client there checking the shots on a monitoring screen?
    Cant wait for part 3!

    What storyboarding program did you use? My drawings are horrendous your storyboards look sick!

    • @KevinReyesDP
      @KevinReyesDP  3 года назад +3

      I used a program called "Set A Light" which is primarily made for studio photographers, I'd advice against using it for storyboarding actually. Part of the the reason why storyboards look bad is to leave room for creativity. While mine look good, they actually worked against me - the client was picking off all the details and specifics because they were too good.

    Was this before Aputure 600d? If no then, why didn't you use 600d instead M18? Can Aputure 600d match M18? Thnx for showing the bts.

    • @KevinReyesDP
      @KevinReyesDP  3 года назад +1

      This was before the 600d. And the m18 has much more output than the 600d.
