I just love how the lyrics support your message in a more subtle way-without having the feeling that you’re being sold something but by allowing you to enjoy watching the commercial. By the way, I end up dancing to it every time haha.
I re-watched the lighting segment again to really gain a sense of how you lit the set -- it's such a specialty field and I'm constantly learning new things. Thank you for the inspiration and loving my music library -- I make use of it *DAILY*!
@@artlist_io Let me tell you how I do it...I trawl your archives for all manner of songs I dig and I *always* ensure to return to my Artlist landing page between clip renders -- what a great way to devote that "downtime" -- and sort for "newest" tracks so I can snag 'em and showcase 'em in my vlogs and other creative outpourings before anyone else -- I use a ton of these as intro/outro bits at my instagram.com/TheRealADM and on my vlog and -- as I'm mostly spoken word/kvetch-fest/opinion-y -- they make for a nice rhythmic start -- one of my faves is BERLIN TARGET, by CK Martin. Sometimes I'll only use a segment of a track or a catchy riff if other elements of the song don't work for the vibe I'm looking for, but you get what I mean. So I wouldn't say that I have a specific genre, because -- to wit, in the past week I've download tracks from Apstral, ABNR, Jon Gegelman, and even Maya Pacziga -- so I run the gamut, as you can clearly see... I'm seriously considering purchasing access to Artgrid -- the one thing which holds me back is whether it's a more extensive collection than, say, Storyblocks -- because a colleague here in Toronto leverages the heck outta' the latter and I want to ensure Grid is better before fully-committing -- I'd prefer to have all of my gear with Artlist's imprimatur on it (I'm part of Artlist Nation), but I know music is your bag and not (necessarily) stock footage, but if I'm sadly mistaken and need a virtual spanking to correct my wayward ways, kindly set me along the proper path! Love learning from you guys! Beautiful color patterns and a great advice to use the same ones as the logo. Also the green screen, and the non-actors tips, and the lighting tips, and the creativity behind each and every shot. Thank you for sharing!
It’s awesome you guys made the song for the video. It was great how the green screen was shot separately in 3 different ways so you have more options in post. Awesome!
I like the tips on helping the musicians feel at ease, it's definitely more complicated when not working with actors, but giving them more of a live environment is a great tip thanks! :)
I hadn't seen this blending of set pieces and green screen before. by default, I would have shot the editor on a green screen and added the window in post, but using a "real" set for the window is definitely the way to go. I'll be looking for opportunities to blend techniques in the future.
Sweet, I was if, for instance, the songs from Artlist come in multitrack so that a part can be muted and can be played over by say a base and used on RUclips modified .
Yes, my friend. I was scrolling to see a comment about the BMPCC. Gives me more reason to not go after the newest camera and rather stick with my bmpcc 4k
idea is good, but website can be better, your yellow button very small, need a better adaptation to the PC version, and very long to load, aptimization needs better
Thanks everyone for watching!

We need more BTS, they’re so good! The small details in the lighting setup such as the blue light behind the editor’s head are amazing!
So much work and efforts behind the scene!😲
So much respect to all of you who made this commercial video!
Thank you so much Lemi!

Adding as much practical stuff as possible is usually the way to go for us! makes for the most realistic scenes (:
Do you work with After Effects?

Amazing!! Lenses were used?
Sigma ART lenses

How did you achieve this soft mushy anamorphic look?
The whole thing was shot with Sigma ART lenses (spherical glass).
The background (vfx) has an Anamorphic stretch and flares, created in After Effects
My biggest takeaway from this video how hard it is to work with live musicians...
Camera used BMPCC6K? Sickk
Indeed! :)
@@artlist_io what geniuses great job
Could you tell us what lens they used? I learn a lot from you

Good content. I am not pressing the like button because I feel like it was mentioned too many times in the video.
